Hardwork plus strategies is what is needed to get into IIMs. Only hard-work isn't sufficient!! I did put in a lot of hard-work but i failed in developing the right strategies that was needed!! One with poor Academic background ( less than 60) should think twice before applying for CAT as most of the IIMs have a minimum eligibility criteria!!
@@ahmedbekker2842 every iim has different criteria.. Some of them give more weightage to the past academic records.. But there are colleges that do not consider academics.. So all you have to di is score 99.5 percentile in cat

maam i am 36 years old and gave the recent cat (95%ile), i am currently serving in central government service for past 12 years, gave cat purely for change of job because in this service its a routine job with no growth, i have got calls from baby iims , can a person like me enter into top iims, i am really working hard to crack cat 2023.... My prime question is, do 36 years old people like me enter 2 year pgdm course or i will be misfit ( even if i crack cat' 23)... what was the average age profile in your batch, do 35+ aged people go for 2 year pgdm course, do iim even select them ? I would suggest to you don't go for regular mba it's not good for you..take executive MBA it's more beneficial for you .12+ experience it will effect your interview stage.

maam i am 36 years old and gave the recent cat (95%ile), i am currently serving in central government service for past 12 years, gave cat purely for change of job because in this service its a routine job with no growth, i have got calls from baby iims , can a person like me enter into top iims, i am really working hard to crack cat 2023....
My prime question is, do 36 years old people like me enter 2 year pgdm course or i will be misfit ( even if i crack cat' 23)... what was the average age profile in your batch, do 35+ aged people go for 2 year pgdm course, do iim even select them ?

I would suggest to you don't go for regular mba it's not good for you..take executive MBA it's more beneficial for you .12+ experience it will effect your interview stage.

I am Abhay Shanker having 9 years work experience in one of the public sector banks. I think that pursuing Executive MBA gives an extra edge in the existing organisation. As such, I want to pursue 2 years MBA and want to appear for CAT 2023 but I am 36 years old. Should I appear for CAT 2023 and pursue 2 years MBA ?
