You don't need any course, these skills can be developed with practice. E.g. I started making my thunbnails on Canva, then I started experimenting with its different tools, then I learned more about them by watching more YT videos. It took 5-6 months to get better, but it happened by practice. So whichever skill you're trying to learn, use YT & put what you learn into practice.

Mam I had a doubt regarding my preparation, I just have started my preparation from 1st March after doing 3 month of job in sales. I have joined unacadamy and doing number system in quants and arithmetic from previous videos, seating arrangement in DILR from previous videos and VARC in the classes. Hello Shweta, another great and informative video. I want to ask a question regarding an aspiring marketing career at FMCG. I come from an average college, with average academic grades and also an IT work experience. All this has culminated into a thought that even if I crack a good B-school, would I be able to seek a great marketing career leaving my past behind. Since you come from the very field itself, and also have seen people with different and varying backgrounds moving forward to a good marketing career despite these limitations. Could you please explain how does it work, or to say, would I be able to crack a good career at marketing with my credentials as mentioned? Thank you so much, truly grateful 🙌 There's honestly nothing to worry about because marketing firms are the most inclusive - they don't care about your past credentials as much as other fields. But, they do prefer candidates with better extra-curricular achievements or holistic profiles (i.e. a little bit of everything). Having said that, ops-heavy profiles have also made it to marketing. It's not that difficult tbh. Just try adding some relevant courses/points to your profile to get their attention.

Ideally your CAT prep prepares you for a large chunk of prep of all other exams, they don't really need specific coaching and most people don't enroll for them at the beginning itself. So for now, focus on CAT prep alone and decide when the forms start rolling out.

There's honestly nothing to worry about because marketing firms are the most inclusive - they don't care about your past credentials as much as other fields. But, they do prefer candidates with better extra-curricular achievements or holistic profiles (i.e. a little bit of everything). Having said that, ops-heavy profiles have also made it to marketing. It's not that difficult tbh. Just try adding some relevant courses/points to your profile to get their attention.

I believe it will depend on your inclination. If you're into managing people pr supervising them, even if for a DS project or in a DS firm, that's possible with MBA. But if you like the core field, then go for online courses.

Hi didi, I've completed my graduation in 2022 and now i want to do MBA but I'm confused between different exams and also I'm looking for online coaching but they're offering different courses for different exams.....so should i just take CAT specific course and if Yes so how can i prepare for other exams if my CAT don't go well...,
Ideally your CAT prep prepares you for a large chunk of prep of all other exams, they don't really need specific coaching and most people don't enroll for them at the beginning itself. So for now, focus on CAT prep alone and decide when the forms start rolling out.
