Was sturggling with a keg not sealing right and therefore not pressuring properly. Your tip about using warm water did the trick and the tap sealed perfectly to the keg. Many thanks!!
Here I am, watching this the morning before I install the 1st keg into my new machine. Thanks for the explanation - easier than just looking at the pictures provided. 🙂
I've seen a lot of people clip the tube piece down first before putting the tap unit on the keg but I usually load mine like you just did. With my last keg as soon as I pressed the tube part in it popped straight back out again and I had my first troublesome keg which kept delivering flat beer. I don't know if there is a right and wrong way with that part or not?
I dont suppose there is but thats always the way ive done it. I just find if you push the tube piece down first and dont clip the whole tap piece on properly some of the beer comes out. Which isnt an issue really but the way i do it avoids that so
Great video... I'm having issues loading my tap onto my keg. It's my first keg.. I fitted the Tap onto the keg as per the instructions however it's spraying beer and doesn't want to clip in. I have tried the tap first then putting the tube piece in and then pushing down but the same thing happens. Do you have any idea on how to resolve this? TIA
Sometimes the tube that comes with the keg is damaged. It may have a split in it. I would maybe try another tube off another keg see if you have any joy there. The only other suggestion i have is to join the perfect draft keg tips group on fb and ask on there. Heres the link. facebook.com/groups/PerfectDraft.Keg.Tips/ Hope you get it sorted
