Well in mate. Quick Q lads when doing the engine mounts obviously one side at a time and through this procedure is it necessary to have the engine held up with a Jack or have you guys got this unsupported?. Wanting to do both engine mounts while I have alot out the bay. Belt side is having a whole new mount and a powerflex insert and the battery side is having just an insert. Cheers
We do indeed support the engine to stop it putting pressure on the driveshafts and causing damage to anything else. You can easily block under the sump to assist with a driveway replacement - hope that this helps and thanks for watching 🙏
@@BDPerformanceWrexham yeah thanks for the confirmation as I can do most stuff just double checking and yeah block of wood on the jack should be just👌🏻. Thanks mate.
We’ve a crank locking pin that’s installed; however the whole purpose of this video was to complete it as an end user would likely proceed. Hopefully it’s given some insight but for our own work we use the pin; as we’ve shown in other videos 💙
Everyone kicks in where needed. Lee has mechanical knowledge from previous jobs so when he isn’t filming or editing: you’ll often find him helping out the lads It’s a business where we work as a Team: that’s the whole reason to come to work. 🙌 Thanks for the question 💙

Lee as a glasses wearer i find it easier when lining anything like timing marks up to close one eye
Fair play to Lee if he can work those bloody cameras out. I thought aperture adjustment was when you went into a corner too fast lol.
