    That's what I'm talking about. Can I do it? Finally a real world video showing me whether I can do this job in MY garage. Lots of these videos give a big runaround and you never really get an answer. UPK just told it like it really is. The good and the bad. This just encouraged me to get going on my own project. Thank you and keep up the great work.

    Thank you for giving us an honest, no BS review of the paint kit. You explained the pros and cons honestly and I appreciate that. I'm a DIY'er and don't have a large air compressor, and I need to paint a new front bumper cover. I painted it with rattle cans and came out so so, I'm planning on sanding it down and start over again. I'm ready to step up my game and try to spray like the pros, but I know I don't have the experience you have nor the knowledge to do a great job, but who knows, it may come out ok. Thanks again.

    The paint looked like it laid down well, and was a nice review. I also don't like those cases where everything is retained by those "nubs" that make it hard to get everything out, especially smaller and more delicate pieces. That being said, a hard sided case is really nice to have, especially for the hobbyist because it keeps the gun kit protected and together so it's always ready to use and easy to find. I've been reorganizing all of my tools lately and I've been putting all of my construction/handheld woodworking tools on a 6' shelving unit in their original hard cases when I have them and in tool boxes when I don't. I wish I had done this years ago as it's so easy to find everything and it's all ready to use at a moment's notice as well.

    Nice videos new subscriber I paint bumper covers 5 days a week with a little california air tools 1hp 8 gallon air compressor on dealership lots with an Iwata lph 80 paint gun that uses around 2cfm at 20 psi and the compressor puts out 3.1 Cfm and it's just enough the reason I don't us a more powerful compressor is that they use a lot of power to run and the power surge will pop circuits at the dealership you will be awarded what a small compressor will do with the right paint gun

    Something just popped up in my mind just now ,and I thought of asking you about it, I own a 02 silverado that my mother bought for me before passing, I took such good care of it believe it or not it does not have not even a ding on it anywhere, do i still have to sand the paint and prime or just sand and go straight to base then clear, thankfully, Nelson Mandela, that's what my friends call me,god bless

    • @UndergroundPaintKing
      @UndergroundPaintKing  2 года назад +1

      You can sand it and if you are planning on changing the color I would seal it but if you are going with the original color you don’t have to seal and you can sand it with 600-800 grit sandpaper and paint it…sorry to hear about your mother and blessings to you also!

    Hi, UPK. Thanks for the review. We'll, is'nt heavy a sign of quality? As you well know this gun along with the HF purple and spectrum chrome guns are all produced on the same platforms world wide and that is the Sata 90 or N95 green gun. I have 3 of them in prestige condition. The other copies are DeVilbiss Tekna or Iwata's W400 classic body copies. My real guns (meaning hvlp or rp or fully compliant) are air hogs and need the twin pump 2 stage 250 litre old compressor to keep the juice running to them. I have 3 lvlp guns now and 25 others. But they all come out to play!!!

      Thank you, I always believe, it is not the gun but the man behind the gun, who can get the best out of a cheap Chinese gun. The only thing is, how long will it last and when the gun breaks, it is Bin time for it. Whereas, I can go and pick any of my Sata's or the Supernova's and 10 years down the line they will not let me down. You get what you pay for. The R & D leads to quality bench marking and after sales supply of spares. Which are not available for the Chinese or Taiwanese Star guns. So, the moral of my speak is cheap is in the long run actually NOT cheap. Most of the people who I know have had problems with internal O rings or the trigger has too much free travel or the packing gland leaks air or material. Causing special effects on the hood or trunk!!!😅😅😅
