Great video. I don’t think I have ever seen a channel review a set up twice just to show that it can be done. Great content
Thanks Frank I appreciate you and I wanted to do another video just in case for the naysayers
I was wondering what it would take to paint my truck at home cheap as possible with a great result. You have open my eyes and knowledge to be able to achieve my goals. Thank you so much.

As always thank you UPK. You are a pro... digging that color too.
You’re welcome and I appreciate you checking out the video!
I've been rolling and tipping two part polys for years on all the boats I've built or rebuilt because I never had a beefy enough compressor to spray. At least that's what I thought. After seeing your vids on LVLP guns, I'm giving it a try on the boat that's in my shop now. Love your approach - info, concept of the job, and then proof. Subscribed, dude.
I appreciate you subscribing and hope the channel will continue to help out!

Great to see another great job using an inexpensive spray-gun and a homeowner-sized HF compressor! I bought that Spray-it gun after your solid review of it. I plan to spray a bumper cover with black gloss single-stage this weekend in the driveway using 2 smaller compressors paired together. I have successfully sprayed with this compressor setup using other HVLP spray guns and touch-up guns.
Nice! The bumper job will be a walk in the park for you
Great prep and great shooting gives the excellent result.
You’re absolutely right!!!…I appreciate you checking out the work
Another great video, I’ve been following you for a while and I finally got up the nerve and painted my 2004 accord this summer with some Nardo gray single stage. I got a couple of small runs but ehh, came out good. I bought the spectrum gun after watching your videos and It worked great. As always I just like your style of teaching. Thanks for your help.
Thanks I appreciate you and hope the videos help out!!!

I used lvlp spray gun on clear and basecoat today.
Sounds like a plan

At 9:31 the air compressor was like "oh God no! Not again!" 😄. Great work once again! This color reminds me of the dropped chevy duallys from the 90's with Boyd and Centerline rims. The youngsters is like "huh."
You could probably buy a broke 30g air compressor off offerup (for a little bit of nothing), take the motor off, and use it as an auxiliary tank. It might take a little stress off the 21gallon. That's what did.
😂😂😂 yeah I put that little compressor to work 💪🏾…you definitely can use another tank as a auxiliary tank. I actually have a 80 gallon compressor that I use so I don’t put my small compressor to work much…appreciate you checking out the video!!!
@@UndergroundPaintKing man, I like how you show people that they don't "need" a booth, screw air compressor, and 1500$ gun to be on your purpose. You can still get great results without those "luxuries!"

Nice work, thanks for passing on the knowledge. Curious on best spray tip size used on the 1 to 1 paint and 4 to 1 clear. Thanks for the motivation.
Thanks I appreciate you checking out the video and for me personally I like spraying with a 1.3 tip for base and clear
Man, I expected to see you were from like Atlanta or something...then I saw the Michigan plate on the Hummer. Looks like it turned out nice. Great job.
Thanks I really appreciate you checking out the video!
Motivation fr bro
You definitely can do it bro 💯
I’m tellin you man I’m using this exact setup simply because I’ve had that central pneumatic 21 gal compressor for like 5 years. Watching some of your other vids on the SPRAYIT LVLP it was a no brainer. I Layed a pearl single stage down like butter and being that I live in FL it’s been hard to get a couple dry days to throw the clear on. I went with a single stage because I was worried about not being able to get clear on the truck fast enough before rain. I’m still waiting to do that but seeing how it sprayed the color I’m sure it will be just as good. Thanks again on the recommendation my man and another one in and out lookin fresh.
Yessir! You definitely can do the work with a small setup…I appreciate you checking out the video!
@@UndergroundPaintKing Always! Notification gang!!! 💪
I have the Harbor Freight 29gal compressor and was wondering what size hose do you recommend someone run with the Sprayit gun or other low CFM gun?
@@snell2k I’m using a 3/8” hose and it works just fine.
@@kronos89rs I just watched your Silverado respray and it looks awesome! Nice job 👍
I have this gun, and it works really well. I keep looking at the SP-33500K Kit that includes a mini gun, s well as 1.7 and 1.9 Needle and tip set. I think I need to use the other guns I got and haven't even tried yet before I buy more though. :) Great Video.
Thanks I appreciate you checking out the video and I need to grab that kit I definitely could use it
@@UndergroundPaintKing Searching for that name with Kit at the end will show you 2 kits.. One is an older siphon feed and gravity, and then there is the one with both (Standard size and Mini) gravity feeds. Looks most places are Backordered until November. I have been looking with the 2 gravity feeds.
@@moetop yeah I think I looked and saw nobody had them at the moment
Hey UPK ! U convinced me to try get one of those spray-it guns ,and man! I gotta say I really did underestimate this spray gun.👌🏽
Did you get yourself one Malcolm?
@@UndergroundPaintKing lol! yeah I actually did man, and it does lay out awesome paint work 👌🏽
@@Jahrome3278 yeah it sprays nice bro 💯
Right as rain
Thanks I appreciate you checking it out!
I am using a 26 gallon two stage Fortress from Harbor Freight and a Lime Line 1.3 Nozzle Spray gun, i also have the new AeroPro R 500/A610
I only paint motorcycle parts so the compressor has no problem keeping up by using the LVLP spray guns i also use the Spectrum universal paint system with the disposable liners and lids from Harbor Freight tool’s with my spray guns.
If you are into air brushing graphics the Avanti Double action Air Brush is a very good entry level Air Brush, also from Harbor Freight.
#upk
I haven’t done much airbrushing but I’ll check it out, airbrushing is something I’ve wanted to really get into, thanks for the info 💯💪🏾
Making me a nonpainter..Thinking I can paint..Good stuff..
You can do it bro!…I appreciate you
Awesome job ,makes me think I could almost paint cars lol
Lol you definitely can paint cars…if I can do it so can you!
Thanks. by the way the compressor kicks in so early, this is not a true lvlp GUN, but well, it's cheap gun and it's doing a fine job.
I appreciate you watching the video!
When you said 1 to 1 paint mix it will cover well thats the good expensive paint. 1 to 1 ain't no joke you get what you pay for.
Yeah it definitely covered well…I appreciate you checking out the video!
The H2 came out nice and I like seeing what you can do with a lvlp gun because that's set up right now so keep em coming. 1 question when spraying clear can the psi very be too high?
Thanks bro and honestly it would vary between the gun and the clear you use so yes the psi can be to high for the clear you may be using and you may need to drop the pressure to get the clear to lay a little wetter
That's a good gun I finally used mine. Can you do a vid using that gun on a big compressor
Nice!…glad the gun worked good for you and I’ll definitely do a video spraying with a big compressor
Another nice paint job! Thanks for breaking down this simple way of painting Lp... what do you do after the gloss? Do you buff? Or polish? Please add that on the next vid👍🏽🙏🏽
Thanks I appreciate you checking out the video and I honestly don’t buff every job…a customers budget and time frame plays a part on if that process will be performed but I’ll work on a full paint and buff video
Looks good brotha and damn that’s was only one layer or paint it was that thick damn 😂 but over all it’s looks good brotha
Lol I did more than one coat I only showed the one coat going on so I don’t make long videos…it’s best to do 2-3 coats of base and clear
Looks great as always that clearcoat is definitely not oh my.Lol
Definitely not the Oh My clear!…appreciate you checking out the video!
your videos are what made me look into the spray it gun. for the most part, i plan to paint cabinetry with it, but do want to experiment with bike parts. do you know where you can buy parts for this gun? there is a plastic ring right at the nozel collar and those can get fairly beat up. i have been unable to find them
the jobs you do look good. i assume it is customer budgets that dictate the amount of trim you remove for a full paint job.
I don’t know about being able to buy parts for the gun but I’m going to look into it and yes a customer’s budget and time frame can dictate how much trim is taken off or removed to do the job
hell yeah, brother. i'm about to give mine a shot cutting in a hood after i clean my pigsty shop up.
Nice!…good to hear of people putting in work 💪🏾
