If you have seen Captain Marvel, you will undoubtedly have questions about her cat. The cat in the film is more closely related to Nick Fury than Captain Marvel, however its origins and powers are quite unique. In the comics Goose's name is actually Chewie, and he is an alien called a flerken. Flerken are rare aliens with pocket dimension inside of them, these pocket dimensions produce tenatacles and fangs, and can store tremendous amounts of items. They can also teleport.

We got two new ginger kittens couple of weeks ago and named one of them Goose and the other Sadie, after the actress who plays Mad Max on Stranger Things. Both of them are girls (which is very awesome) and fun fact, from the Captain Marvel movie, they had a girl kitty who played Goose throughout the whole movie. Before we had a gray and white cat by the name of Gandalf (the Lord Of The Rings wizard), but sadly had to be put down last late October due to stomach cancer :(. He also have a black cat by the name of Sophie. We're waiting for her to meet the new ones, until they're okay to be around. If I ever get a ginger kitty, I so want to name him or her Flerken for the fun of it XD.

There's another animal in the Marvel universe that's similar but worse it's called a Druff. They live out in space on asteroids and they multiply by eating electronics. They will eat your ship out from underneath you! And yes they are adorable.

A cat we have had litter of kittens. One of them looks a lot like Goose but i named he Jerry after my dad seeing he pasted away from liver cancer in 2005. Jerry is also very friendly. I also live about 1 hour away from the owners after finding about it from a cbc intervview talking about the movie. Never seen the movie other RUclips clips but having Jerry around is the next best thing.

For some reason, that pocket dimension thing reminds me of Kirby, as he has a pocket dimension as a stomach. Flerken are basically Kirby with fur. And eldritch horror sprinkled in there for some flavor.

Essentially everything the movie has shown is most of what’s known about them and only a few more stuff from the comics (such as reproduction) is all that is known about them. I wish somewhere stated how long they leave, and where’s Goose in every movie where you see Fury without him, did Goose just disappear to wherever Carol was in space? Did Goose die due to old age or do they basically live forever? Are we ever going to see Goose and Rocket together? Is rocket going to see an earth Racoon and make a comment about how he and goose could pass off as earth animals? Lol is goose going to eat someone and be forced to spit them out?: “No, Goose! Bad Goose! Spit them out right this minute! Thank you, Goose” “I’ve told you, Goose, too many of them were bound to give you a stomachache” 😂
