  • Alex Murdaugh’s former best friend Chris Wilson appeared emotional on the stand on Thursday when he discussed confronting the disgraced lawyer about missing money. “I sh*t you up,” Wilson said his beloved friend told him before allegedly confessing to a drug problem and a slew of financial crimes. Wilson testified the conversation took place a few months after the disbarred South Carolina attorney’s family was murdered.

Never has he mentioned to his son Buster that he is concerned for Buster's safety. As a matter if fact the only time I remember him mentioning Paul or Maggie is when Alex asked if anyone put flowers on the graves. Every other convo is Alex telling Buster to call all of these connections of his Dads to try and get Buster back into law school. The same law school Buster had been kicked out for cheating. Alex is a very narcissistic and shallow individual. No sympathy or empathy for anyone. The victims he stole millions from are prime examples of how heartless he truly is.

It certainly isn’t unbelievable to think he was spending that much. And his sister-in-law testifying that Maggie/Paul had been busting him with pills for years? Was he planning, 10 years ago, to murder his family, and already working on his defense case, by buying bags of pills, putting them somewhere they could be found, then going to rehab???

I think Alec knew Buster could forgive him and that Maggie and Paul couldn’t. A pricey divorce and a lot of financial pressure from the boat case could disappear with just a handful of shotgun shells. He probably thought a lot of his discretions would be overlooked by his friends if he was dealing with the loss off his wife and son. At least that’s how I feel today. I’m sure you could find a comment from me saying there’s no way he did it after his police interview was played. It’ll probably switch back and forth a few more times too if I’m being honest lol. Never had a case make me flip flop so much ever. I can usually frame my opinion after an overview of the facts and that opinion won’t change much throughout the trial. It’s strange really 🤗.

Including the man on the witness stand. If _he_ doesn’t have a clue what happened, what chance have a bunch of strangers got, who’ve only seen the guy in the news and in court?

But even someone who has barely paid attention (seemingly you) has every right to share their opinion on this platform. It’s kind of the point. You see, prior to the internet, people didn’t have a forum to show that their education may have been sorely lacking to the whole world. I’ll give you a hint: it has to do with being considered innocent _until proven guilty in a court of law, by a jury of his peers._ If that makes you at all uneasy, I’m sure there are a lot of countries in Eastern Europe in which you’d feel pretty comfortable.

Take those jelly beans or jaw breakers he is eating away for him he uses that as a comfort mechanism. Excuses are simply that excuses. How many people in this world has a drug addition!! Thousands that have no refuge. No excuses for Murdaugh he asked for the mess he is in! Have to be a great friend to loan someone this kind of money.

Murdaugh was never his friend. He just saw someone he could use. Someone needs to tell this man never to acknowledge or respond to ANYTHING from a psychopath. The only reason Murdaugh called and texted him is to see if he still had his "friend" at his disposal.

Nor me. If he was so far gone as to need rehab there is no way he could have functioned as a high flying lawyer. Nor continue to behave normally so nobody realised he was addicted.

If you're addicted for a long time you won't feel the high. You'll feel normal until the withdrawals hit. I know a person who used 400mg of oxycodon daily. That's a lot of money going down the drain.

That addiction story he uses is just a ploy for sympathy and gave him time to get away from the state while he supposedly did rehab!! As a certified drug and alcohol counselor I don't believe it!! He's using it as an excuse for spending that money as well. With all of that money, he spent he would have had a drug cartel. It's all b.s. on his side. My opinion only! And, none of his friends noticed he was doing drugs??? That is so highly unlikely. Close friends know when that's happening! They notice the subtle changes and no one knew of this it is said. Doesn't make sense.
