I feel bad for him as well. At the end of the day this man is a victim just like everyone else but it’s personal because this man looked at Alek as a life long friend, colleague that he trusted, and probably though of him like family. That’s a lot of money $170,000. I think it was that he had to take from his own money. Sadly, I think Alek/ Alec knew his world was caving in but instead of facing it head on, I truly feel he thought the only way out has the take his wife and son out. The son that was doing more than his fair share of helping the ship sink. As a parent, I just can’t wrap my brain around him taking their lives. Yes, he probably would have lost his wife, etc. And do jail time for all the financial crimes but now his hole is so deep, I don’t see him climbing out it. If he’s capable of harming his family he loved🙈 I can’t imagine what else this man is capable of😭🙏🏼

The issue is that everything Narcs do to appear a certain way is all false and purely manipulative.
For an example of this, look at how many people who knew or were close to Ted Bundy describe him and how they couldn’t believe he could possibly do the things he did. It’s because they don’t know the real him, only the version of himself he knew would win them over for his gain. The judge has said he will decide tomorrow on whether to let the jury hear this testimony. This is what’s called a proffer.
If the judge agrees to let this testimony in, perhaps they could replay this video to the jury so the witnesses don’t have to testify all over again.

Being from South Carolina, both born and raised, being authentic and kind is simply who we are, for most of us. While of course, as expected, there’s a few bad apples (AM) but it’s true, people from the south never meet a stranger and having lived in Rhode Island for a few years now, I’ve learned their ‘way’ of life here and I’ve adapted. I’m not as outspoken or nearly as loud as I use to be…. But I’ll never lose my deep southern drawl, forget the sound of a slamming screen door, falling out of old tire swings, the need to have a small talk with anyone who’s around to listen, having the utmost respect for my elders or even on my worst day, have someone hold the door for me and not give them a smile and a genuine ‘thank you’. I miss being around people like the man on this stand. Just your average Joe with a good heart and the loyalty of a yard dog. ❤️

If you look at Alex's face while his ex-friend testifies, tell me he knows he's done. I don't doubt he did this crime and why he didn't. He didn't want this information getting out he knew he'd lose his law license amongst everything else. That's an absolute motive for murder.
