- Paul Murdaugh’s friend, Rogan Gibson, testified that he heard Alex Murdaugh’s voice in the background of a phone call and video from the night the disgraced lawyer’s wife and son were killed. Gibson testified that he is 100 percent positive the third voice heard with Maggie and Paul is the disbarred South Carolina attorney.

This young man honored Paul today which took such strength, so proud of him!
Even though Paul was an arrogant boy, and definitely troubled when under the influence of drug or alcohol, he had a true blue friend and I'm sure there were good moments in his life prior to the incident where his alter ego emerged and wrecked the boat intoxicated, killing a girl.
@@brendakauffman2222 well said.
Also this young man is related to Maggie!
Salt of the earth - this young man. Very credible.
@cj with all that's going on in the world I don't think most people understand or probably care what Rogan did. But people like us still obviously believe that Integrity and Character cannot be bought nor sold...And it's in these perilous times God's people will shine like the Sun. To anyone who reads this I believe this is the utmost display of Integrity and I define Integrity and doing the next right thing when nobody else is looking no matter what can be gained or lost at any period in time. I commend this young man. I would have been scared of the Murdaugh’s & he knew Alex was capable of murder, but he wasn’t scared. He wants justice for Maggie & Paul.
Paul was a murderer too. Like father, like son.
Amen.
Did he do it though? I don't think he shot them. I think someone was lying in wait. If there were skull fragments in the wood above Pauls head then whomever shot Paul from that close would have gotten some blowback. Anyone who's ever messed up and shot a shotgun at a tree or other hard object from that close range knows that stuff will come flying back at you. Skull fragments in this case. Alec is clean. Too clean. I think we will never know what really happened. Where are the murder weapons? They know by cell location where Alec was at but they can't find even one of the guns used? I just don't see any hard physical evidence that Alec
Don't see any hard evidence that Alec is the shooter. Hearing his voice means nothing. You can see kennels from the road. Alex could have been in his car leaving. I hope the state has somehting other that circumstantial evidence to put him on trial for murder. Not one piece of physical evidence? C'mon makes no sense at all for him to be able to pull all that off on his own and the investigators not find one shred of evidence. I'm not buying it. This is why they went with quick and speedy trial not give the state long time to figure it all out cause they don't know who shot those two all i know is it wasn't Alec, IMHO
Those weren’t the same clothes he had on at the 7:00 hour when planting trees. Can they get a subpoena for those clothes. ( if the videos were taken on the same day)

I’m in awe of this young man’s bravery and loyalty to his friend Paul. We should all be blessed to have such a friend. When the judge told everyone to stand, Alex took this time to stare down this young man. I would imagine this video will put Alex Murdaugh away for the rest of his life.

(Only guesses that Alex did it. ) But the video places Alex at the scene mere minutes before their death. And I appreciated the lawyer pushing the fact that had the voice been a male STRANGER down there with them, Paul and Maggie wouldn't have been so calm. It all adds up to Alex. But Paul filming that video is what's going to make sure his murderer faces justice.

@@taylogan5826 I know. Isn't it so scary what our jury pool can consist of. I can only hope these people aren't registered to vote. Blind Sheep!!!
@Patsy Cline the factors of financial crimes has not been introduced to jury as of yet. IF the judge allows for that to come in on 408 tomorrow that could be a reason for appeal. Neither son or wife had life insurance policies so consequently does NOT rise to motive. Previous acts that have yet not been adjudicated at this point are not settled bad acts or crimes. Helps to know a least a modicum of law & not to depend on what one has seen or heard from a person or the media. The very reason a jury is told not to discuss or research until all testimony is complete, closing arguments presented & instructions given. No one has all of the evidence at this point. No one has any idea what the defense will present. Public emotion especially on RUclips or other social media sites is NOT how our legal system works. Every citizen should be very afraid if guilt or innocence is decided on uninformed information. Is this how you would hope to be judged? Good-luck on that if you do.

I love how ,right on cue, Murdaugh starts his crying act (without tears).
He’s a seasoned attorney so I’m sure he has learned some great tips over the years of how to act in an effort to sway the jury. I don’t know how anyone can see and hear the testimony and think he’s innocent. Maybe just me but more witnesses do follow this so we will wait and see the outcome.

I found it telling that when he said 100% positive AM was nodding his head. Prior to that it looked like he was staring AM down.
Considering the infamous boat crash, I wouldn't call Paul Murdaugh "innocent." The whole family is evil.
This poor guy lost his friends and now has to relive it all. Traumatizing for him.
When Rogan talked about talking to Maggie’s mother; he was asked if Alec talked up when he identified his voice :; Rogan sneered and made a face like he was disgusted. Alex is guilty.
He also shifts his eyes from listening to the prosecutions attorney to a death stare right at Alec. He knows he did it.
Alec did an uncomfortable shift in his seat too
Good fella. Totally honest testimony. A credit to his family.
I couldn't imagine what the wife and son went through when they were murdered . They were killed by someone they loved . This young man deserves much respect for testifying. .
Paul probably didn’t even know what was going on: and Maggie may have, but only for 30 seconds. I don’t think they suffered.
@KC…Paul wasn’t killed by the first shot. Yes he suffered. Maggie certainly suffered. Wtf. She was running in fear. Then shot in the legs. Then was shot again. Sure….no suffering 🙄
@@angelwings7930 you know what I mean, it wasn’t an incident that lasted 15 minutes. He probably shot Paul before anyone even knew what he was doing and Maggie shortly after that.
A missing gun, a surprise visit from Paul to see his family and now a video. You can tell which way this witness leans. He's still sad
I don’t think we will ever know the extent of Alex’s greed and evil. We may never even know everything that transpired that night. But I hope justice prevails.
For sure! What we don't know about this sub-human monster is probably much worse than what we do know.
Excellent testimony…..this should be shown to anyone ever taking stand on exactly how to answer the questions. Make the attorney’s get you to talk…….
You know, I've watched a few of the longer videos of this case and thought for sure he was innocent. Then to watch this young man say with 100% surety that it is the voice of the defendant, when previously the defendant said he never went down to the kennels that night, it just throws everything down the tube for the defendant for me! He's fighting for his friend, and I'm sure he's proud of him!
I am too, he is doing the right thing for his lost friend! That video is mind boggling.
Me, too. I believe he’s crying and remembering what he did to his family. He was expecting to be taken out and not having to relive all of this.

Kid says “100 percent” and Alex unconsciously nods his head yes for 10secs.. pay attention jurors!
I had to go back & look is at 4:35. He shakes his head yes.
And there it is💥 Well done to Paul (RIP) for taking the video & Rogan for testifying ⚖️
I loved how Rogan would frequently cut his eyes to AM . Like I know you did this!
There must be some kind of voice recognition software that can annualize this.
Omg that poor friend must be traumatized. I just cant...how is,Buster able to even sit there?
Buster is his definitely his father's son. That's how he's able to just there.
Guilty 100%
You speak as SOMEONE NOT SWORN TO UPHOLD the JUSTICE system. Just a NOBODY, with an OPION, who has one piece of the Evidence and has PREDETERMINED someone guilty. DON'T GO on a JURY. When they ask you the reason you want to get out of jury duty just say,
I AM NOT WILLING to up hold JUSTICE. I have Already PREDETERMINED the outcome.
The moment Alex Murdaugh starts contemplating what kind of deal he can get for admitting his crimes.
The murders happened in the evening of June 7th, 2021. Paul spoke with Rogan on the phone at 8:40 about Rogan's dig whose tail was injured. Rogan's dig was being kept at the kennels under Paul's care. Rogan asked Paul on a text after the call to take a picture of the tail so Rogan could share it with a vet. Paul decides to do a video which captures Paul, his mother Maggie, and his father Alex's voice. That video never made it to Rogan. Rogan was asked the next day about the male voice in the background on the PHONE CALL and he tells police that he is 99% sure it is Alex's. He's asked again as time went on and was doubting himself. He then FINALLY watches the video in November 2022 via police and is 100% sure it's Alex on that video. He then is played the video in court today and states he is 100% sure once again. Will (another friend of Paul's) took the stand today and said he is 100% sure it's Alex's voice on that video. BAM!

I need to catch up with this case but thank you Kay in Maine for ur great content. At least I have a good idea of what happened today ☮️
So the video was on Paul's phone and taken that night right after the phone call before the murders?
It was a miracle that Paul was taking care of his friends dog and went to take a photo of the tail for his dog. Without this video, Alec may have gotten off. He’s so guilty.
@@harley6222 You're welcome!
If you watch the entire testimony for today, they interview another friend of Paul's and he testifies to getting a snapchat of Alex and Paul riding around the property wearing a completely different outfit and shoes at 7 pm.
Yup! A couple hours or so before the murders, Alex is on Paul's video wearing pants and a nice shirt with shoes. When he calls 911, the police arrive and see that he's wearing shorts and a shirt.
@@KayInMaine Do you know what the significance of the birthday video for Alex was where they pointed out his "best friend"? I forgot his name. I'm going to re watch
@@KayInMaine Whoa...
@@KayInMaine Ah, the witness was Will Loving
Yes I saw that.
He's a monster
A great witness 👏 to put this evilman away!
