- Mousesports' Karrigan is one of the greatest leaders in Counter-Strike history and perhaps the best to have never won a major. The champion of 15 tournaments over a five year span, Karrigan's identity is one of a unique aptitude for drafting surprises, developing star talents to their peak potential and calling game-breaking tactics on-the-fly.
Equally impressive, though, is his uncanny ability to defeat the great teams he was formerly the leader of. That includes the current Astralis line-up, considered the greatest of all-time, and a FaZe Clan containing some of the game's most skilled players in history.
In FaZe he managed a four series streak of wins over both of Astralis' differing major-winning line-ups and in Mousesports he has posted three series wins in a row over former teams. Over the last three years he has won 75% of the series he has played against them in semi-finals and finals.
Karrigan does not just compete against and read his former teams well, he has them in his back pocket.
Let’s examine Karrigan's unending revenge tour in which he has forced his former teams, at least for a moment or two, to second guess their decision to remove him.

I’m a huge astralis fanboy, but you can’t deny how good karrigan is at being igl and turning his teams into formidable people. PLUS he seems like he’s a super nice guy :)
Nice docu! Just shows how badly the FaZe team was managed. Astralis kicked him with a clear reason and proper replacement, while FaZe has just been random ever since the kick.
I agree. Its a shame though as I really enjoy faze clan, with them being my ex favorite team, and it really makes me sad seeing them in shit hole theyve dug for themselves.

Best igl in the world, he might not have glaive's mayor wins but he has built 3 different teams, he's made several players perform, he even got mousesports to be #2 in the world
He is one hell of a leader, and definitely up there with the top of the crop for what he brings to a team's chemistry and ceiling.
That said, the EPL win against Astralis in Odense late lass year is one I contribute more to Astralis' hubris and overconfidence than Karrigan's leadership, though Mouz was on an absolutely amazing tear through that whole playoff run.

It wouldnt boost his performance. He will not play awp bcs there would be guardian in the team. So, s1mple wouldnt be anything better than niko in that team. That move wont change shit. And niko also helped a lot in the pass with the secondary calling so i dont see a benefit in them kicking niko for s1mple in the pass
cause niko is the one single hanedly kicked Karrigan out of Faze. Now look at Faze where are they? on secondery calling perspective s1mple does that too.

Dev1ce and gla1ve were mates for many years prior to Astralis and that's how gla1ve got in contact with Astralis. Whether or not Karrigan approved I don't know

It's good that someone took time to point out Karrigans as one of the GOATs, even when his frag scores in FaZe did not always make that obvious. He was often the central point of critics, like if FaZe needed another, fifth super-aim guy at the time of their colapsing. Maybe you can kick Karrigan out of your team, but you can't stop him from kicking your ***.,
