The Eternally Kicked Genius: The Story of karrigan

- Finn “karrigan” Andersen has worn many hats over his career.
He was a superstar in CS 1.6 - a great aimer with incredible instincts. And in CS:GO, he became not only one of the greatest in-game leaders of all time, but an architect of success - a man who doesn’t just lead, but knows how to build teams that win.

They won against Astralis just now

He might still get kicked tho lol
And yesterday, he finally won his first major tournament, unbelivable!
Personally, I think karrigan is the best IGL ever. The range of players he's led, his ability to develop individuals & how well he controls his squads so quickly honestly blows my mind.
True but the crazy thing is that he wasnt the classic nerdy computer kid in school.

I have been waiting for this video for so long. Love karrigan. The Man, The Legend, The Beast.
A true veteran of the game and i love his ability to transition from a star player back in 1.6 to what he is now, giving room for these younger stars to shine. Come what may, he'll truly be a legend of this game. Great job by yall again for making quality content.
The beginning is legit a movie trailer
It’s kinda amazing to see how astralis have changed since he left. They use to have that aggressive in your face style and now they are ultra conservative and don’t make any mistakes by being over aggressive.
Even though he cannot frag as well as his fellow teammates, he has proven to the world that he has an incredible mind. 200IQ IGL there

Got this recommendation after Katowice 2022...
He's one of the best igl's, he made every team he joined better. Dignitas, faze and then built mouz
Boldog Lazar he definately didn't build mouz, he joined 4 players already on the roster.
@@JT-lb7rr by building, meaning he made the team top tier,
@@kishorraika6411 He said every team he joined he made better, listing dig and faze and then stated he "built mouz" if he meant made them top tier he would have just included mouz with dig and faze in elevating them to top tier.
Oh god the timing on this . Karrigan definitely the best IGL imo . Always leading from the front , getting info , finding impact frags , always mixing it up . Respect
Karrigan is a legend. He has proven himself king by his talent of building young talents and im sure he would do great as a future coach when he finally hangs his shoes... Unfortunately there are players like karrigan or s1mple who absolutely deserve a major but not have one... Afterall its just a title.. Talent comes first.. I would like to see 'the story of tabseN, the god of german csgo'... He is a very remarkable face of german's csgo and he deserves his story to be shown for his devotion and influence to german cs
The sad thing is no one remembers him this video reminded me of him
No bro, the people who really understand the game and have high awareness realise the impact karrigan has on a team.. I mean he has started from the bottom with 3 teams and he has built them to the top.. If you see some faze interviews Guardian said that karrigan got kicked because his teammates didn't listen to him that much.. I mean, Niko didnt like him as well but as soon as niko left coldzera asked karrigan to come back. Honestly at 30 years of age he has not a lot more to give but he is extremely talented and he is my favourite igl
Damn, this brings back nostalgia. FaZe with Karrigan was no doubt my most favorite and beloved roster of all time. Imagine if they have won Boston Major and Katowice, it would have been very different. But it is what it is. 😞
Damn bro, Karrigan and GuardiaN with major, imagine it😍

@@Paranoid1996 I think they're doing fine, so unless broky failed the trial, faze doesn't need roster changes

The timing on thjs video, superb
It bugs me that we don't have "the story of hiko" yet like the man is legendary and truly deserves a dedicated video telling his long and amazing counter strike story.
The title scared me I almost thought he got kicked from mouz lol

Wow how uplifting isn't it to see a video from theScore without the host staring in to the camera with their head tilted making faces, every other sentence pronounced overly serious and pretty much half of them ending with "... I gained so much respect for him, he is the real example of how pros at video games should do. Put education first, hobbies at the second place and it will all work along. Just won his first major too at Antwerp. Congrats to him and FaZe!
It is really appropriate to end the video with the word architect. The architect is the guy who design things and plan things, no the guy who put hand to make miracle. Karrigan is that type of person. It is easy to see he is not superstar with any CSGO weapons, like S1mple or dev1ce with the AWP, or flusha through the smoke or in any insane higlights. But karrigan's talents was in building teams, grouping stars or youngsters or veterans together and leading them to success. He put teams together and led 3 teams to top 3 4 at least during his period there. Karrigan's tactics are superb, he thinks of most scenarios in the match, all the good and the bad possibilities, tries to counter or predict the opponents. That explained why we see his team could play 3 maps in BO3 with high chance of winning no matter what. And that explained why when facing teams with high preparation like Astralis and Fnatic, his team could counter and win. The weakness of karrigan was that he was kind of slow in adapting to the changes in the team. We have seen FaZe Clan when Olof in and out, FaZe was inconsistent, falling and uprising. And mousesports also, before finding some achievements, it took them 4-5 months until the DreamHack Malmo to actually put a great performance (only lost to Vitality's explosive performance). And then after that look at mouz, they won ESL Pro League S10, cs_summit 5 and were on the way of winning 2 consecutive ESL Pro Leagues
I will never forget that kennys vs karrigan fail on cobblestone lmao
Karrigan rip aim,Kenny insane 1v2 fast flick.
"karrigan is just gonna charge him down. hes gonna miss a few pistol shots." "WHAT Kennys picks up the kill, but then he gets the second."
Well its kennys you're talking about....his lightning fast flicks are something else
He might change to pistol to get extra kill cash reward, but yeah his aim failed.

I can’t believe he is 29 and still a pro! I thought after 25 pros usually just go downhill and retire but he doesn’t seem to slow down! Ofc his reaction time is going to be slowed but I can see another 5 years of greatness
