But sometimes, there are generational players who go unnoticed - phenoms, who quietly build a legacy in the shadows of their peers.
Ropz has always been an outstanding CS:GO player - but the spotlight usually remained locked on monsters like s1mple, or even ropz’s own teammates, Twistzz and karrigan.
But with the arrival of CS2, it was finally ropz’s time to step up and claim his rightful place as the game’s first God.

I am glad the community has a pro voice that speaks to Valve directly. This way the game would get better, faster.
I was in FPL-C back in 2016 when ropz and zywoo were there too. Ropz had won the qualifier for FPL one month but it was cancelled due to some throwing some polish players did to try and get each other up to FPL, the day after I played a match and he was in my team, I remember asking him if he was mad about having his slot in FPL cancelled and I swear to God he said "no problem I'll win next month". That's the kind of player he is Robin Kool, Kool indeed.

ive been a fan of ropz for the longest time now, and it makes me so happy to see him shining bright in the spotlight for a new era of counter strike. on a mini note, its because of him that i like sport gloves arid so much : )

shouldn't just be ropz and we shouldn't only be shaming s1mple. this game allows these people to make a living. they should all be working at it to make this better together

There’s actually dozens of pro who actually grinding and showing results, it just the negative one was louder on social media.
Team spirit or virtus pro player for example.
This shows exactly who are the actual pros to keep grinding the game and staying on top, like karrigan wasn't that good in the game before but like you can see he actualy plays well in the game as well and not being only a good leader but a good player as well.

I think the problem with cs2 is we blame EVRRYTHING on cs2, while its not everything, its half cs2 bad, but also sometimes we whiff and sometimes we miss the counter-strafe.
I would love to see a vidéo comparing the launch of CSGO to CS2 because I think we forgot how bad our loved game was when it came out

ropz is the greatest CS player to ever exist that's essentially overshadowed consistently by supertalents like s1mple, ZywOo and upcomer donk and some of the game's best IGLs to ever exist such as cadiaN, Snappi, and karrigan.

I don’t play CS and am only tangentially aware of happenings, but s1mple might have had a point: it seems as though Valve was expecting pros to point out what basically the entire rest of the community was already saying. You seek a professional’s opinion once you have a functional and coherent product, otherwise you’re wasting their time.
Edit: Still, I have great respect for Ropz’s positive attitude and work ethic. Really admirable for him to put what “should be” aside.
The reason why Valve is asking for pros help is probably to confirm what's good and what's not, because most of the players who will complain are the one who aren't willing to adapt to a new playstyle so they will complain from day one like s1mple did but ropz was grinding and finding new flaws as well and was giving a guide on how thing might be as good as csgo or even better. Because some big names who complain as well for the bugs and other flaws were just raging and going to another game which was easier to them but that doesn't help valve as much as to give exact things and reasons that the game isn't good, that's why ropz was so useful in my opinion.
I understand your point...and yeah when the whole community is screaming...one guy will not be enough but Doesn't he get paid to play this game, think about it...If there was a problem in Football rules(hypothetical ly), wouldn't be the first one to notice will be the players who play that shit for living day and night. So no hate to S1mple and frankly he has always been like that.
