Seán only uploaded one video on Stardew Valley and it was in 2016. Casper, I’m curious: Did you read any of the comments on that video? People are way too backseat-gamey where Stardew is concerned. Even a seasoned farmer like Evelien can’t get away from comments like: _”Oh, my God! I can’t believe you didn’t (insert annoyingly rude nitpick here)…”_ and she’s on her third public play through! I’m actually hoping that people won’t start nagging Seán for a Stardew series. Just let him enjoy playing a game with his girlfriend. If _he feels like uploading it,_ he will. 💚🤗🤗💚
He probably got bored with it on the first or second episode I wouldn't be surprised a few people I know and have seen gave up on it on the first or second episode for some reason and I understand why people don't like the sequel Trilogy but people not liking Andor Baffles me but there's the possibly Sean hasn't even bothered watching it yet
Loved Andor! That was the gritty, real and intense Star Wars action that I feel had been missing in the Kenobi series. I personally don't think Kenobi was really bad. But then again I think I was mostly just excited to see Ewan McGregor take up the role again and have Hayden Christensen back as Darth Vader. I personally think both of them are brilliant actors.
The Banshees Of Inisherin was my personal favorite film of last year. So incredibly written and acted. Phenomenal staging and directing. Beautiful music. Hilarious, but also put me in tears by the end. Loved every second of it. I encourage everyone to watch it immediately.
Hej Spedicey Gang! Its been a busy year for him, glad we got to be a part of it (in a smol lense). Thankmas was truly a blast to watch & memorable moments were made, plus goals 👏 God of War/Eldin Ring was great to watch/game, Project Iris as well. Hope this year is just as Gute for everyone, Keep it up & Stay Safe 😎 👊
As a RUclips generalist and media enthusiast as Sean (apparently), I found two of the best media possible of my life this year. First of all, I have to say my absolute favorite videos of the year of your channel. 3rd - Observation duty: idk how you and Evelyn made that creepy game so relaxing to watch. 2nd - night of the scissors: It took me by surprise how funny that video was. 1st - Cooking simulator: It encapsulates what I love about this channel. The amount of laugh/time ratio is impossible to match. Now about my favorite discoveries: -the first one was a tv show that I never heard of, as I am from Mexico and never grew up with that. That show was Community. I started watching it Jan 1st (2002) as they removed that day from netflix what I was watching at the moment (modern family, 10/10 btw). It came to a surprise that I watched it and they announced the same year they were going to make the movie they promised. The comedy is top notch and they don't waste a single second, being over the top most of the time and so freaking unique. - The second one, as I said was a youtube generalist and even though your channel is the best I started watching in 2020 and one of my favorite of all time, I will have to say that my favorite new channel, and I guess the best content I found in this year was a channel of a streamer called Atrioc. I am 100% not related to this guy, but I have to say that I'll give him that award for 2022. Edit: I just found out about the atrioc controversy and I just want to say that I knew nothing about this the moment I wrote this comment.
Not sure if you watched it but Star Wars Andor was amazing, easily one of the best pieces of Star Wars we've gotten in a while. If you like a show that's character driven, takes its time to build up, and isn't reliant on references and easter eggs for content, than you'll love this show
Really enjoyed watching you Sean in 2022. Your gameplays and great videos were awesome to watch. Keep up the awesome work. Can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store for you.
I loved your IRIS project last year, that was awesome! I loved the horror stuff you did with 3 scary games, then there was The Quarry, which I really liked watching you play. If you want to, totally start Stardew Valley on your channel! I love that game and I would love to see you play it. Even if you do a one-off video where it's just the one episode to show us what progress you've already made on your farm, I'd watch the hell out of it. All in all, it was a great year. I can't wait to see what you've got in store for us this year!
Loved the long hair! My favorite Jacksepticeye video of 2022 was the IRIS Project video. After a long time of putting it aside it finally happened and also the return of our favorite glitch boi Antisepticeye and he gotten a whole lot scarier than the last time that we saw him and looking forward to seeing him again in the future!
I really loved the idea and outcome of love dead and robots! Just the fact that they put so many studios together to make a series with so much passion! Les Otto montagne is also a beautiful movie in the Italian alpes. The views alone are worth the watch!!
I’m curious if you’ve seen andor - it is far one of the best pieces of Star Wars context on right now - and more people need to watch it, it felt like a complete surprise to me as I’ve felt a lot more disappointed in the Disney shows other than the mandalorian. But Andor it blew it all out of the water. It is not only visually stunning, has an amazing cast and it doesn’t rely as much on nostalgia (which I don’t think is a bad thing anyway but still). It features some amazing speeches from a range of characters that I won’t spoil but also great storytelling. The only complaint I’ve really heard is that it’s a bit slow to start but I didn’t really feel that and I think the rest of the show makes up for it with 6, 10 and 12 being standouts for me. I also enjoyed seeing a completely different side of Star Wars with the foundations of the rebellion being built and also characters that I didn’t feel initially attached to becoming some of my favourites. It blew me away
Been a fan of all the chilla's art, fears of fathom, indie type of games where you've been able to sort of do this improv and standalone character building for the characters. Also been liking your AAA games series (when the games actually play well). I've recently been going back and replaying some older games such as metal gear, assassin's creed (black flag and II in particular), sniper elite 4 (though that game annoys me with its need to stabilize one's breath before shooting). Recently discovered the DMC series and thus discovered how satisfying it can be to land and spam combos in it. As for series, Vikings was a big hit for me, liked the plethora of character development in it (though it slumped a little bit towards the tail end of it). Chainsaw man's another pretty good one, which I'd realized it'd be, just from it's manga popularity alone. Interesting progression you got with this channel too!
Unlike most people my age (30ish), I didn't start watching "Gamer RUclipsrs" until 2022 (namely you, Markiplier & CallMeKevin). And I'm glad I did! All the humor and fun of y'all in your younger days, but more smooth and mellow if that makes sense. Plus y'all are putting out some wicked awesome creative projects!! I enjoyed watching the Stanley Parable, There is No Game: Wrong Dimension, and the God of War series. I also went back into the catalog to watch your playthrough of Untitled Goose Game, which was hjonking fantastic. It was also my first Thanksmas, which was AMAZING. I'm glad you like Stardew!! That took up 99% of my life from December to March 2020 lol. I also saw that you and Evelien did a Nancy Drew game together. That was so fun to watch, especially because I watch a Nancy Drew streamer on Twitch. I loved watching someone else play through it. I'm looking forward to 2023, where I'll actually be here the entire year! ... hopefully RUclips plays nice >.>
Andor was my favorite show from the past year. Incredible filmmaking, complex grey characters, overall quite possible the best piece of star wars to date
i think most of us want a long video/series where you talk about your favorite movies, games etc! i really enjoy hearing ur opinions because ur not being influenced by everyone else and rather speak from ur own personal experience
My favorite movie of the year was hands-down Moonage Daydream. It's a documentary on David Bowie that defies all conventions of what a movie can feel like. It's an incredible work of art and I highly suggest everyone watch it!
Honestly I love that this video went to the clips channel. It really makes it feel like a good addition as a summary channel. I think my favorite film of the year had to be Puss in Boots The Last Wish. Im an animation major. This film was absolutely gorgeous in every way, and it's genuinely one of if not the best film dreamworks has put out in the last decade. It's one I want to watch again and again, and is a film that made me remember why I love the field I am going to work in. For your videos jack, my favorite was the Iris project, theres nothing that tops it. I was in the server with Turquoise when this was happening and it's one of my favorite memories this year. Especially since it was happening while I was in class. Yeah it was definitely a time having to pretend everything was fine while my teacher was giving a lecture, meanwhile anti's on my ipad screen walking over dead bodies. Thanks for the nightmares my man. Plus the pipes. God the pipes. I also got to meet you last year! During the HDWGH tour premiere! It was kinda funny, the first thing you said was "Wow great mic quality.". It was honestly hilarious. Plus it made me way less nervous during that talk. Thanks for the great year man. Im excited to see what's coming in the future.
Jack said he wants a BOOM massive comment so here I go! I'll write one close to how he did his video. I had quite a lot of personal growth imo, I found out and learnt more about myself and how I work. One thing I found out is that I SUCK at keeping habits and routines in check. I got diagnosed and as I predicted, ADHD monke in my head too. I had suspected forever about it. One nice thing I did for myself is finally doing things that made me happy but not like usual things, personal things. Like I want to be a fit cute femboy and I finally trimmed all my body hair after plenty of panic attacks and now I think it looks super cute! I also talked more openly to my parents about my future and decisions and I still gotta work on it but hey, it's a start! For media, hmm, I don't actually watch much stuff but I watched a hell lot of RUclips. I've been watching you and Mark very regularly. I've also gotten very much into retro gaming and I wish I had a better device to emulate stuff on, been wanting one of those cool retro handheld emulators. I also got into cubing which is pretty sick! As for movies, I only watched Multiverse of Madness and I thought it was okie, it wasn't like great but it was still very fun. I watched MoonKnight too and I loved it, one of my favorite characters from Marvel now! So cool and so much depth, love him! I also rewatched Promised Neverland with my sister and it's just as good as I remembered it being. Also saw bits of Fullmeral Alchemist Brotherhood while my sister was watching it. Such a good anime, my favorite for sure! For games, was very excited for Ragnarok and it absolutely delivered, loved every single bit of it, so fucking good! I still think of God of War very very regularly. The new games made a heavy impact on me. Other than that, I wasn't really too excited for any other games. Watching series on them was not as fun and I don't have a device to game on so welp. Hm, what else, I already forgot which other categories he covered lmao. Well, I did lots more but I can't recollect everything. I just hope this year is fun and better than the last, both for me and all of you! I hope I can get to play more fun games, express myself better by shaving and also hopefully maybe potentially getting cute clothes (maybe it's too much lmao, won't be approved off where I live) and yeah, just wanna do fun stuff! I might be heading off to college this year which makes me extremely sad. I wanna stay close to people I love :c Anyhoo, my adhd monke won't shut up and I gotta end this comment. BTW, I stole the adhd monke word from you jack and I love it and I've been using it everywhere! Oh and yeah I got meds for it too but they've not been much help imo. Still eh. Hecc, end it! Okie, bai!
@@grantsaysyes Awww that's such a cute comment! Thanks for all! I'll check out the anime when I can. Right now, I'm pretty darn busy so I keep to watching RUclips in spare time and for shows I watch, I often do family friendly which I can enjoy with my lil sister! And aw, thanks, I hope college goes well too! You sound very fun too! I wanna talk more! :3
@@Ilias2 Hey, if I had the costume and a shaver/epilator, I'd absolutely do that! But not just astolfo, I'd love to do fishnets, shorts and a crop top, Gothic but fashionable! Also skirt, thigh highs and warm big cozy hoodie eeee!! Awh I wish I had those all
I'm so happy to see Cabinet of Curiosities get a mention, it was SO good, some really gritty horror in there I loved every episode. Guillermo Del Toro and all the actors involved did an amazing job!!
Cool to hear you liked Severance so much! I thought it was absolutely incredible but nobody ever really talks about it. Hopefully the new season brings in more viewers
one of my favorite movies last year was definitely devotion!! glen powell and johnathan majors had me absolutely blubbering like a baby. as well as top gun maverick and death on the nile! the cinematography in death on the Nile was incredible
I’d have to say favorite jacksepticeye video released last year was bloodborne, it was so nice to see ya back playing a game you REALLY seem to love and still get visibly excited for. There is something oddly satisfying watching someone who genuinely cares about a game and is also well versed in the lore plus is an exceptional player of the game. Always great to watch ^^
Hey jack i really liked your fears to fathom videos, and chillas art. Definitely do more of those kind of games! Also you should continue your scariest videos on the internet, im a giant horror fan and i love seeing that sort of content!! Ofc though keep doing what youre doing bc in general, all your videos are awesome
Well.... I was going to say I really enjoyed your short film from when you came back from on a break, 15 months....but holy moly that was posted in July 2021... how did time fly like that. So instead I'll say the Stanley Parable was the most fun to watch with you. I also really love when you play the Chilla games. I'm not someone to watch or play horror games, but seeing the passion you have for the developers story telling and the way they immerse you in the scene makes for a really good time. Thanks for giving them a platform to have many people see their hard work! Oh and on that note, I also like the FearsToFathom series as well! Super eerie.
My favorite Jack videos are those really good experience videogames, like Journey and the Far games. To date, my favorite video is also probably my first Jacksepticeye video- Far: Lone Sails. This past year, my favorite was the sequel Changing Tides. It's really fun to sit back, relax, and watch the pretty game while the wholesome Irishman talks. That's why I subbed, and the goofy stuff is a nice bonus. Plz do more like that. Also, the Bloodborne playthrough was really fun to watch and you still need to kill Laurence (kill him!)
Last year was the year adulthood started to slowly creep in, like a monster in a closet, and despite being terrified for what's to come and not knowing what I wanted to do, Sonic was there in some way. Whether it was the movie, the comics, Sonic Frontiers or Sonic Prime (nice voice work btw) this little blue hedgehog helped me take my mind off things, and helped me understand things will be alright. In Sonic's case too, cuz his games haven't been that great as of late, and it feels like next time around, SEGA's gonna knock our socks off, not just in the games, but the movie too. I'm cautiously optimistic, cuz I'm a little worried about Shadow, but they mostly nailed Knuckles and Tails, so I'm hopeful and excited for what's to come!
Alright you asked for it: I probably don't speak for older Jacksepticeye fans since I'm relatively new. I know I watched a video 7+ years ago (oculus rift roller coaster) but it wasn't until the pandemic I started watching the longer lets plays. I really have been enjoying the content the past couple years, and watch new videos almost as soon as they come out. I think the channel has evolved a lot. Things I liked: - Indie game let's plays ie. Somerville, Stray, There Is No Game, FAR, Stanely Parable - Horror games and videos. I'm actually a coward and don't seek out horror typically but I've really been enjoying the humour/horror combo here - Longer videos I can put on while I work/do other things, less interuptions - Colabs with other creators, the ones with Pewds are my favs, it's got that special magic energy à la "Rhett and Link" - LAUGH - Although I'd prefer a mix of reactions to new stuff + showing us found favs - Thankmas was GREAT this year, highlight of the year for me, liked the games, Jack Black jenga! - Your commentary about games at the end of long lets plays. I appreciate the deep dive even if it's 99% about lighting/reflections and audio - Excited to see what else is next with the Alter Egos/IRIS, even though I had no idea what was happening, and still don't, it's cool! - Surprising/high effort intros! I love the horror ones and the awkward chair 'hey' one - Colabs with Evelien, but I can watch them on her channel too - Lots of variety, trying new stuff/videos
12:53 "I wanna do more stuff like this on the second channel" My confused self who just clicked on a Jacksepticeye video on my sub feed: "What?" **notices this is on JSE clips** "Oh yeah, this is not on the main channel. Huh"
For me, the best movie of the year must be all is quiet on the western front. The cinematography in that movie is absolutely stunning. Acting was fantastic. Soundtrack was...interesting. But all in all, the movie is a masterpiece
I was literally waiting for you to do one of these because I'm so so bad at keeping up with current games and shows and everything but I trust your judgment on what's good and bad and it's always fun hearing your thoughts on them! I don't know anyone else who's watched 1899 and I completely agree with you. I was so excited and thought they started with a really cool concept but I felt really gutted by the last episode. I was wondering if you've seen a show called Alice In Borderland! Maybe you've talked about it before but that was another one I was really excited about after my friend introduced it to me but kind of felt let down by the ending of the 2nd season. I really loved your playthroughs of The Quarry and Devil In Me and I really hope you can power through the disappointment and play the next ones for us 😂 But let's be real, we all know the best RUclips video of 2022 is The Inside Outtakes 💜 Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
Just adding on: Mob Psycho 100 S3 was incredible. Most satisfying ending to an anime I've ever seen and solidifies the show as one I can honestly find no faults with. Brilliant.
Sean, please you gotta watch Andor! It's the Star Wars you're looking for 🤣 It is gritty, and real, for adult fans of star wars, shot in real places and it looks incredible! You won't regret trying it. Awesome video btw good breakdown
My favorite animated movie was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. It has animation on par with Into The Spiderverse and you don't need to know anything or have watched the first movie to enjoy it.
@@therealangelalexander1858 Well we are usually in our own bubbles so is unlikely you'd hear anything negative about the game but there are people who love RD1 but hate RD2
CONGRATS JACK ON EVERYTHING!!! you truly deserve love and everything from games to personal matters it’s all great here’s to far better years as well! (also omg my best friend is obsessed with star dew valley and thanks Jack for recommending these movies now i think i absolutely want to know more about EEAAO and The Banshees of Inisherin! also top gun maverick my mom wants to see it too!)
I love that you mentioned 1899. I too LOVED Dark and really liked 1899 as well. Very upset they didn’t go any further with that show. In the same realm as Dark, a GREAT show I watched on 123movies where you could get loads of foreign shows and movies, disappeared, watched again on Shudder on VRV, gone….. Jördskott. Two seasons, LOVE that show and now cannot get it here in the US to watch a fourth time. Such a great show, want to own it, but cannot (because I live in the US). Sean, if you haven’t seen it- check it out (Swedish)! If anyone has a suggestion on how I can get ahold of this again, please reply 😊
I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the Banshees of Insherin, my husband and I really enjoyed that. Even though we weren't really sure of the plot at first there was something so engrossing about it.
RDR2 is the best game ever, Sean. and it's not something you finish and that's it. It is the game you can play forever, over and over and never get bored of it. I have finished it 5 times, gathered 1300 hours on it and still play every day. And I wish I could see you play it.
I think this fourth season is what got me to really love Stranger Things? I had been weirdly ambivalent to the last seasons because I couldn’t get into them, and barely remembered what I watched, but this fourth season I’ve watched again and wow, although I really hate what they did with Hopper, it felt useless? But the story line with the kids was great and ugh, Eddie, he’s on my wall in a poster now. Sandman was a favorite then the last season of Derry Girls had me sobbing like a baby. On your channel, the chilla games definitely, then God of War Ragnarok series, I tend to pay more attention to your series? I was sitting in between my classes I taught just watching Ragnarok like a tv series itself. Your commentary with the story kept me hooked as did your playthrough of Stray! Then IRIS just has me absolutely excited to see what you’re going to do next! Movies….Banshees of Innishiran definitely, The Batman, and then The Northman was perfection, I think The Northman came out last year? My brain is still processing the fact it’s 2023 and my ass turned 32 a few weeks ago.
Love these type videos, just simply talking about things like tv shows and movies throughout the year is comforting for me, even if we disagree on certain things haha. When it comes to video games in 2022, I didn't play many NEW games, I mostly played games that were already out. This is partly because I was more focusing on getting through my final year of high school. Saying that I really liked the look of Elden Ring and Stray, just never got around to playing them. My personal favourite movie was The Batman. I am a sucker for superhero films, but it was refreshing to me how unique this film was compared to others. The cinematography was astonishing, my friend and I were hyped as when the bat mobile got revealed and continued to have the car chase with the penguin. I am still aiming to watch Everything Everywhere all at once, Nope and The Northman. For me with shows, Andor was a standout. Everything from the acting, camera work, narrative and tone was near perfect, and was everything I wanted out of a modern star wars project. As a huge MCU fan I also really liked Moonknight, Oscar Isaacs acting took it to another level. Finally there's 1899, which I personally enjoyed, not as much as Dark though.
as a fellow adhd-er i completely understad the struggle trying to finish red dead redemeption 2, however, when i finally did it, my god it's the most rewading emotional experience i've had in gaming. if you are able to, please do try to finish it, you won't regret it :)
i know it wasn't made in 2022 but i (as a 21 year old) finally started playing Skyrim last year and i did not think i'd love it this much. I keep coming back, there's so much to do, i even have a little notebook i write my notes in (like the daedric princes, which holds allied with the stormcloaks/imperials, shadowmarks, the days and months, level ups, etc) and in general i have to say it was absolutely my favorite game i discovered in 2022. An oldie but goldie i suppose :]
Xenoblade 1 is one of the best games of all time, unfortunate that he couldn't get through a good amount of it. I get that most people can't do long games but yeah definitely recommend it you all and Sean again if he sees this comment.
I absolutely loved the new God of War! Your series on it was amazing. Also, as a Sonic fan, I loved the new film Sonic 2 and the new game Sonic Frontiers, as well as Sonic Prime on netflix. I also adore Peaky Blinders with their sixth season coming out this past year. I actually really liked the Robert Pattinson batman! I thought it was cool. There are probably so many more things, but not much I can think of right now :))
Looking back at it, 2022 was a HUGE year for Sonic, especially since (almost) everything we got was so good. Sonic Frontiers and Kirby and the Forgotten Land are my favorite games of the year, and Sonic Prime was really good too
@@kamielmonsecour29 no, cinema is amazing but i just realised that i didn't watch any movie in 2022 and didn't care for any new series. did watch the entirety of new girl this summer tho
There was a bunch of stuff I forgot to talk about. Like the movie NOPE, which was incredible or The Boys Season 3. Loved that too!
How come this in your clips channel?

As a RUclips generalist and media enthusiast as Sean (apparently), I found two of the best media possible of my life this year.
First of all, I have to say my absolute favorite videos of the year of your channel.
3rd - Observation duty: idk how you and Evelyn made that creepy game so relaxing to watch.
2nd - night of the scissors: It took me by surprise how funny that video was.
1st - Cooking simulator: It encapsulates what I love about this channel. The amount of laugh/time ratio is impossible to match.
Now about my favorite discoveries:

"It's too much game I have things to be doing"
Proceeds to finish elden ring 10+ times
I really loved the idea and outcome of love dead and robots! Just the fact that they put so many studios together to make a series with so much passion! Les Otto montagne is also a beautiful movie in the Italian alpes. The views alone are worth the watch!!
I've just watched "Everything, Everywhere, All at it once" and what a true masterpiece it was. Thank you for the recomendation Jack/Sean!
I loved every video of yours. Especially with the Irish Lads!
My favorite movie of the year was hands-down Moonage Daydream. It's a documentary on David Bowie that defies all conventions of what a movie can feel like. It's an incredible work of art and I highly suggest everyone watch it!
It really is a great documentary!!!
Omg yes it showed once at my local cinema and it was an amazing experience
I always love hearing about what he liked during the year its really cool to see how much things change over time
I want to hear you talk more 💖 I love just listening to you talk about things, you always have the best takes Jack.
Sending you lots of love!
I wanna stay close to people I love :c
Anyhoo, my adhd monke won't shut up and I gotta end this comment. BTW, I stole the adhd monke word from you jack and I love it and I've been using it everywhere! Oh and yeah I got meds for it too but they've not been much help imo. Still eh. Hecc, end it! Okie, bai!
Do an Astolfo cosplay.
Moon knight was awesomeeee! I have ADHD also, and the struggle is real and you're not alone
Awh I wish I had those all
@@darthpotato2871 thanks for the honesty lmao
I pinched a nerve in my wrist playing Vampire Survivor. Love it
I'm so happy to see Cabinet of Curiosities get a mention, it was SO good, some really gritty horror in there I loved every episode. Guillermo Del Toro and all the actors involved did an amazing job!!
10:54 thank you for bringing up that darn song I swear it's overplayed!
Sean should watch Andor, its right up his alley. Andor was my favorite show of the year.
all quiet on the western frontall was a real surprise for me!
Stunning cinematography 🙌🙌
I wished Sean could have played more of Xenoblade Chronicles, honestly one of the best video games ever made.
I'm ashamed to say i didn't know this channel existed.
Got recommended randomly.
Glad i do now❤
Banshees, Aftersun and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio were my absolute favorite films this year, so glad you loved Banshees!
“I swing both ways”
He has GOT to know how that sounds!
Always great to watch ^^
i know it didn’t start in 2022, but season 6 of better call saul is one of the best seasons of tv i’ve ever seen
Holy shit you’re growing your hair again, it looks fucking awesome!!!!!
Hope you do more vids like this Jack! Watching you do these review-esque videos is really entertaining :)))
I was reading this comment thinking "damn that's sweet" so clicked your profile and LOVE that dogdog 8d - so cool!! 🙏
In the year that The Batman, Glass Onion, Avatar 2, and Del Toro's Pinocchio released, my favorite film was still Puss in Boots 2. Weird ass year.
The fact that Jack is STILL mad about Eddie's death gives me so much happiness because big fucking same
I really like these videos tbh, especially whenever they discuss the indie scene
This man lookin like a snack even though he just had covid. Also thank God he liked The Banshees of Inisherin
Andor is exactly what you described. Dark, well made, grounded, incredible acting. Please watch it!!
Jack: I have other stuff to be doing!
Also Jack: *has played through Elden Ring 14 times*
Alright you asked for it:
I probably don't speak for older Jacksepticeye fans since I'm relatively new. I know I watched a video 7+ years ago (oculus rift roller coaster) but it wasn't until the pandemic I started watching the longer lets plays. I really have been enjoying the content the past couple years, and watch new videos almost as soon as they come out. I think the channel has evolved a lot.
Things I liked:
- Indie game let's plays ie. Somerville, Stray, There Is No Game, FAR, Stanely Parable
- Horror games and videos. I'm actually a coward and don't seek out horror typically but I've really been enjoying the humour/horror combo here
- Longer videos I can put on while I work/do other things, less interuptions
- Colabs with other creators, the ones with Pewds are my favs, it's got that special magic energy à la "Rhett and Link"
- LAUGH - Although I'd prefer a mix of reactions to new stuff + showing us found favs
- Thankmas was GREAT this year, highlight of the year for me, liked the games, Jack Black jenga!
- Your commentary about games at the end of long lets plays. I appreciate the deep dive even if it's 99% about lighting/reflections and audio
- Excited to see what else is next with the Alter Egos/IRIS, even though I had no idea what was happening, and still don't, it's cool!
- Surprising/high effort intros! I love the horror ones and the awkward chair 'hey' one
- Colabs with Evelien, but I can watch them on her channel too
- Lots of variety, trying new stuff/videos
my favorite videos of yours from last year were:
the Iris project
your 5000th video
the twins video
I'm so excited to see more of the Iris project!!!!
The editing on this is so good
Hope Jack is enjoying The Last of Us show
I was literally thinking the exact same 😅
12:53 "I wanna do more stuff like this on the second channel"
My confused self who just clicked on a Jacksepticeye video on my sub feed: "What?"
**notices this is on JSE clips**
"Oh yeah, this is not on the main channel. Huh"
Completely random but Seán in this looks like that cool college teacher everyone likes
For me, the best movie of the year must be all is quiet on the western front. The cinematography in that movie is absolutely stunning. Acting was fantastic. Soundtrack was...interesting. But all in all, the movie is a masterpiece
wow that was such a cool short video man! make more of these plss
I really loved your playthroughs of The Quarry and Devil In Me and I really hope you can power through the disappointment and play the next ones for us 😂
But let's be real, we all know the best RUclips video of 2022 is The Inside Outtakes 💜
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
idk if sean watched better call saul but the final season was one of my favourite pieces of media ever
Just adding on: Mob Psycho 100 S3 was incredible. Most satisfying ending to an anime I've ever seen and solidifies the show as one I can honestly find no faults with. Brilliant.
Sean, please you gotta watch Andor! It's the Star Wars you're looking for 🤣
It is gritty, and real, for adult fans of star wars, shot in real places and it looks incredible! You won't regret trying it.
Awesome video btw good breakdown
the random mobile game shoutout was so funny to me idk why but i downloaded it LMAO
absolutely, strander things is a show concept that has a plot that was already used and seen a thousand times
Yeah Kenobi made me sad, so much wasted potential. But Andor on the other hand, now that is the one show I didn't know I desperately needed!
My favorite animated movie was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. It has animation on par with Into The Spiderverse and you don't need to know anything or have watched the first movie to enjoy it.
FINALLLLYYY someone who feels the same way about stranger things. i miss season 1.
Then just keep watching season 1 over and over again without watching the other seasons
That one second of the FMA: Brotherhood opening has me needing to laugh and cry at the anime again
You hit the critique of Kenobi on the head, I would've loved seeing a darker side star wars (I was a little nervous when u said you don't like it XD)
You should definitely finish red dead 2 if you can. It’s the best gaming experience I’ve ever had and everything about it is just perfection
Yess for sure I finished rdr2 and rdr1 recently aswell and although it can get a bit lengthy it's so worth it especially for the ending
i guess some ppl are just different i played it and had a blast tho
Talking from the other side I just couldn't bring myself to play it again, love RD1. It's just one of those games thats quite polorising
@@CriticalCipher Polarizing? I seldom see any hate for it no matter where I look. Did I miss something along the way or???
@@therealangelalexander1858 Well we are usually in our own bubbles so is unlikely you'd hear anything negative about the game but there are people who love RD1 but hate RD2
Everything Everywhere All at Once was mind-blowing. Amazing.
Honestly one of the best films ever made imo
CONGRATS JACK ON EVERYTHING!!! you truly deserve love and everything from games to personal matters it’s all great here’s to far better years as well! (also omg my best friend is obsessed with star dew valley and thanks Jack for recommending these movies now i think i absolutely want to know more about EEAAO and The Banshees of Inisherin! also top gun maverick my mom wants to see it too!)
Wrong Flag to Stand By, DiamondGamerGirl
@@NoahtheGameplayer agreed, fly your countries flag, the flag that raised you and has allowed you to live on its soil. Not a label.
I'm really liking the new hair and it suits Jack well🥰
I love that you mentioned 1899.
Better call Saul! Season 6 came out and I couldn’t be more satisfied. My favorite show of all time
I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the Banshees of Insherin, my husband and I really enjoyed that. Even though we weren't really sure of the plot at first there was something so engrossing about it.
Giant Jenga with Jack Black was my fav moment from 2022!
RDR2 is the best game ever, Sean. and it's not something you finish and that's it. It is the game you can play forever, over and over and never get bored of it. I have finished it 5 times, gathered 1300 hours on it and still play every day. And I wish I could see you play it.
I would sell my firstborn child for a Red Dead Redemption 2 series
RDR2 is worth finishing. It took me two years to achieve 100% completion but I don’t regret it one bit!
I absolutely loved banshees of inisherin, legitimately watched it 15+ times and I am going to watch it again tonight
Just found this channel. I feel like I’m apart of a elusive club now
I think this fourth season is what got me to really love Stranger Things?
If Seán wanted dark, gritty Star Wars with great practical-feeling camerawork, he would love ANDOR! It’s exactly what he’s looking for
My favorite video from 2022 was the non existent ending to replaying until dawn 😀
"That's what my dad left me. Health issues and... EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!"
I’m gonna sound so basic but Among Us with Rae, Sykunno, Lud, Corpse, etc. AND the farming video with the lads!! My fav!
Sonic Frontiers and Kirby and the Forgotten Land are my favorite games of the year, and Sonic Prime was really good too
Hell yeah, please do more of these videos where you talk about different media and stuff, videos like this or your 3x3 videogames video always slap
Primal Season 2 was incredible as well. The entire season was one gut punch after another.
don't think i've watched a single movie in the entirety of last year....or any new TV show. i'm finally freeeeeeee
Do you believe that movies and series are bad?
@@kamielmonsecour29 no, cinema is amazing but i just realised that i didn't watch any movie in 2022 and didn't care for any new series. did watch the entirety of new girl this summer tho
@@onionrelish New girl is supreme god-tier TV haha
I LOVE Stranger Things, but I 100% agree with everything you said about season 4. 100%.
