Meelo's meditaion scene is totally a reference to Son Goku's meditation scene on the look out in the original Dragon ball series, even if its somehow unintentional

Meelo is like one of the strongest characters in the entire series. He didn't have much fight scenes but from the ones he had, you can tell that not many people could actually defeat him.
