    I save all those containers too...I just can't see throwing them out when they're still usable, especially with food being so expensive now. But when they're no longer useful, I have no problem throwing them away. I've amassed quite a collection of "tupperware" without spending an extra dime, lol.
    Your recipes today look so good! I had already had breakfast, but I can prep them and freeze individual portions for later on. I'm glad you talked about your mom's whisk. I'm going to see if I can find one similar. I think it might work better for mixing eggs, dressings, and other things in smaller quantities than the larger whisks I have now.
    I really enjoyed this video - as I do all of them! Thank you for sharing your recipes, helpful hints and ideas, and time. Though I'm not currently in treatment, having undergone both radiation and chemo in the past three years, my tastes have changed and it's often difficult to figure out what I might enjoy and then actually find energy enough to put it together (A recent back injury has also forced me to modify how I do things to hopefully avoid another surgery), but everything you fix looks so good, I just have to try it! It always seems doable because you talk about and show how to "fix it now and cook it later". I appreciate you more than I can tell you!
    Wishing you and your family a wonderfully blessed 2023!

    I dehydrate Walmart frozen hash browns. I keep at least one 3 gallon plastic container full of them at all times. They are so easy to make. As soon as I come home from the store they get put in the Excalibur and are done very quickly. They are the handiest thing ever. I also dehydrate (by hanging) all of my kale and sub it for parsley in so many dishes. Your tips are amazing. Happy New Year to the Wayna family🥳🥳🥳 flowers and chocolate. Wow he’s a keeper!!!

    Not sure if you’ll see this comment as this is an older video… I was wondering if you could make some tutorials regarding your food dehydrator? I know you have shared a lot about your freeze dryer but unfortunately that’s out of my budget. I do have a dehydrator but I’ve never used it as I’m just not sure how to or what foods I can dehydrate. I know you’re up to your elbows in summertime market stand work and tending your garden so it’s ok if you don’t have time right away. Maybe this fall or winter when things slow down a little? Anyhow thanks for all you do share and thank you for your kind heart and how you share so much with your community. ❤

    The first thing I would do with the Hashbrown Casserole recipe is cut the butter in half. That's way too much butter. There's butter in the soup and then you add 1 cup more per batch. That's a heart attack waiting for a place to happen!! You can't cut the carbs but you can definitely cut the fat. The milk in the soup could be skim or low fat, cut the butter in half and the change wouldn't even be noticed in the final result. You could also cut the amount of cheese in half without notice. Use low fat sour cream (or better yet 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 greek yogurt). You are so loved! My husband and I were married 42 years before he passed and we dated for 3 years prior to that. I can count on one hand the number of times he gave me flowers and not use all the digits. 🙂

    Hi renew, I love your videos. The problem I have is I’m from England and we don’t have half the things you do, for example hash browns, here they are premixed and preformed into patties, can you tell me if your hash browns are just grated potatoes that I can make myself? Keep up the great work ❤

    • @LittleVillageHomestead
      @LittleVillageHomestead  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, you can make your own hash browns. Shred your potatoes and just blanch them for a minute or two and once coold make sure to squeeze out as much liquid as you can. Lay them out on a sheet pan and freeze once frozen you can transfer them to a ziplock bag and place them back in the freezer and you will have some wonderful hashbrown potatoes to use in many dishes. I hope this helps.

      Hello sherry, I don't have a Amazon store front yet but I do have many links to the items I use and yes I get credit for the items purchased I am an Amazon affiliate. the whisk I used was my mothers but I do think you can get it on Amazon. I think she got it at Bed Bath and Beyond.

    I am wondering, have you ever used your casserole IN the burritoes? I have done that before and my kids really liked it that way. I freeze my burritoes as well. I then wrap them in parchment paper so my kiddoes can just re-heat them in the microwave then I wash the parchment paper and re-use.

    Hello Renea. Oh my if I would have sent my husband to the store he would have forgotten half the items I sent him for, only because he didn’t want to go to begin with lol and flowers too, not here he is a cheapskate lol. Everything looks wonderful! And I have to tell red is your color, looks great on you, now tell me it was orange lol Gods blessings to you and your family❤
