Key and Peele are really effective because they rarely overextend a skit and ruin in the process. They have a lot of great skit concepts and don't run them into the ground.
They run all of their ideas into the ground. It’s basically impossible to avoid with sketch comedy on a budget. The greatest of all time were monty python and they *never* knew how to end a joke.
