If you have previously thought that a bosu ball was strictly to get your sweat on, well . . . it can help you with a lot more like IMPROVING YOUR BALANCE with these TOP 6 exercises!
Balance is one of those things that for some it's GREAT and for others, not so much. As we get older too our balance can be compromised by things like weakened muscles, eye issues, injury or chronic pain. However that doesn't mean that there are not things you can do to continue to work at improving and maintaining better balance.
While you may not be inclined to view this like a WORKOUT, it really would be a great benefit to do these TOP 6 BALANCE EXERCISES a couple times a day and 3 times a week for OPTIMAL RESULTS.
If you've never done balance exercises using a bosu ball don't shy away from doing these exercises. Coach Tonya has broken this into 2 BALANCE EXERCISE WORKOUTS essentially by doing the 6 exercises once through at a BEGINNER level and then once more, adding weight to make these exercises more challenging. Start with the bodyweight version of these exercises and when you get proficient at them advance to doing these with added weight.
The first challenge is to get on the bosu ball, but don't worry, Coach Tonya talks you through this and it is much EASIER than you may have expected! Once you are on the bosu ball find a neutral and relaxed position/ stance just get familar with what that feels like.
Here are the TOP 6 BOSU BALANCE EXERCISES
** You want to do most of these for 10-15 reps**
    Forward & Back Rock
    Side to Side Rock
Circles - make sure to do these in both directions
    Bodyweight Squats
Side to Side with Squat Movement
    Toe Touches
Once you have mastered these and can move through these with ease you are ready to advance to the next level and Coach Tonya takes you through these again!
Thank you for watching this video. If you have any questions for Coach Tonya please post them below and be sure to click on that notification button to make sure you don't miss out on any of our SPECTACULAR content! Be well . . . be healthy . . . be happy!

It's a brand name product and if you go to the BOSU website it gives more details in the "About Us" portion of their website. The videos on their site also show both sides being used. If you are being told otherwise, you might be looking at a knock-off product? • @CriticalBenchCompound

A hand held pressure gauge with correct attachment will be able to show you what the air pressure is in the bosu. However, if you are struggling with balance, put less air in to start with and as your balance improves you can add more air.

In one of the other balance videos using the bosu ball we do address that. We also follow up with mentioning several factors to be considered before using the bosu ball in this way; and several people/ trainers do us a bosu in this way to help improve balance ONLY once better balance has been established. We also make it clear to have "support" accessories to help you keep your balance on the bosu when used in this manner.

BOSU literally stands for "both sides up". Says so right on their website: "Invented by David Weck, the BOSU® Balance Trainer debuted in 2000 and quickly became one of the most successful fitness training products in the world. Originally, the name “BOSU” was an acronym for “Both Sides Up.” It meant that the BOSU® Balance Trainer could be used on either side, the dome or the platform."
