I’ve only played P5 & P5R so I’m super hype about it.
I use to only play Madden & randomly thought “I’m gonna try something completely out of the norm for me.” Next thing I know I’m an Atlus fan & played SMTV, SMT3, Catherine, SH2 & P5S.

SH2 wasn't a masterpiece for sure but it was good still
P5R was so easy (on hard or merciless) and I was a bit frustrated that I could not change the persona of my party members
And in that regard, SH2 was what I was missing in P5R
@@KesslerTwitchVODS Level design is subpar but the gameplay is still very fun. I bought it on sale and had a great time
I already have Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on my Vita, but I'm glad that a new generation of people will have the chance to experience these games. They are really good.

Played the first persona 4 on PS2 in highschool. Went through some pretty hard times after my father's death and this game was one of the things that got me through the hard times and for that it is one of my favorite games of all time. Persona 4 golden just happened to make the game better however I didn't have a vita during that time so I had to wait almost 10 years for a pc port.
I’m hyped! I’ve played vanilla P4 on the PS3 so I’m looking forward to finally getting to play Golden

The soundtracks on this game is on another level of amazing caught my ears and ever since i been trying to get my hands on this game
I’m gonna be playing persona 4 for the first time coming from persona 5 I’m excited to jump in and see what it’s all about
i bought vita for P4G in 2018 , since then it's been my favorite game of all times, in 2020 i bought it again on steam, can't wait to replay it again on 19th when it gets updated on steam.
Just got confirmed that’s it’s 4K120 on Xbox series X too. Now I’m super excited. Unfortunately looks like it’s stuck to 1080P60 on PS5 and switch

Just finished P3R, ( my first Persona game ) and I can't decide if I should go to P4G or jump to P5R =/
Beat the steam ver when it came out, put almost 100hrs
Thankfully I don’t need quick save I play on series X so it has quick resume, so I I jump right where I left on it’s been amazing 😁 I’ll leave the game mid battle for another and I’m able to jump in a couple times a week, I’m nearing the end! (I’m in the new years)
Steam version is the way to go.
Paying those $20 once for:
-Steam Deck version
-PC Desktop version
-Free cloud saves to share the progress between PC and Steam Deck.
-Mods
Below it goes Switch version as it delivers the possibility to play portably and on a TV, same as the Steam version, but with less visual quality.
Either way, no matter if it is on a Xbox One Fat or vie xCloud, just PLAY THIS MASTERPIECE!
Yeah i really wanted him to mention Steam because i bought it mid2022 and the mods are Indescribably Awesome for me, basically fixing every issue i hated in the base game from some graphical issues and especially annoying features like not knowing which social links are ready, messing up dialogue and not getting the reaper because of “luck” are ALL fixed by mods…
Which leaves mr to my second point that, this release, ironically butchered the entire mod scene by making the game 64 bit
Meaning i will not be playing the version this entire video is about

I just bought this game for my girlfriend, shes loving it she hasnt played P4G in about 6 years and it was on the Vita, so this was quite the upgrade
I *just* beat this game for the 1st time yesterday. Damn.. this is my game of the year for 2023.. lol. I bought it for $12 during the Black Friday Playstation sale for the PS5. (Quick backstory for anyone interested)
I never finished Vanilla Persona 5. I loved the music so much in that game and the gameplay from what I could remember. But I quit after like "2-3 months" because I got too hung up over the fact on deciding what to do for my afterschool and evening activities. I was so concerned about missing out on bonds and whatnot that I stupidly followed online guides on exactly who to talk to and how I should answer. Yeah, it sounds really stupid but that in itself sucked the fun out of the game for me. So I had never touched it again. I'm so thankful for Persona 4 because I tried it out and really wanted to get into it. I just made sure to play it my way and I absolutely enjoyed it. I can't believe it was originally a PS2 game.. insane.
When the game ended I was like "Noooo let me stay in Inaba with all my friends!" That's how attached I got to each and every one of them :) I also bought Persona 5 Royal for $30 because when I fell in love with Persona 4 Golden, I just know I'm going to want to play P5R after and I'll start that in the next few days. I'll make sure to play it my way! Thanks for reading! Great video and you nailed all the points on why people should give P4G a try.

Basic persona romance. If you played 5 its pretty similar, where you can pick a romance at rank 8 or so and get a special dating scene at some point in the game.
@@calculator91 is there more than just the dating scene? Like if it's implemented in the game? I never tried the fifth one. Basically what I'm saying is if romance is a big part of the overall game not just like 20 minutes

It’s 60fps on PlayStation too. Not sure about the switch version though. Xbox is the only version that has the “60fps+” and “VRR” tags. Potentially they’ll be the only console version with high framerate(up to 120fps) support

Not much of P5R was really easy ill admit but certain parts were hard. And overall P4G is giving me a harder challenge. But i like that
some games really left marks in your soul. For me, it's Skyrim, Mechwarrior 4, Warframe, and Persona 4 Golden
P4 is the best entry in the series in my opinion. Played it back when it was just on ps2. I highly recommend playing it.

P4 is still my favourite Persona game.
When Joker was added to Smash I immediately researched all the Persona games. I was immediately drawn to Persona 4. When they announced Persona 5 was coming out first I was kind of disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I still bought P5, beat it, and loved it; but I've honestly been more excited for Persona 4!

Was lucky enough to play 3 FES and 4 Golden for the first time last year. When it comes to these releases, I'm definitely playing 3 first

if you liked persona 4 golden, you’ll probably liked jojo’s bizarre adventure part 4. the stories are quite similar.
I love Jojo's part 4 and can't wait to play P4G.

The answer is yes it’s worth your time, 9 minutes to explain that on the other hand 🤔
P4 golden is the only one I care about I watched the p4 animation and loved the story characters and probably has one of the best villains of all time.
Unfortunately I never got a vita so this is a dream come true for me to get it on Ps4
P4 Animation was mediocre as hell and the villain was so much worse than P3's villain. Then again story, characters and writing were also not as perfect as P3.
I personally think the original version of 4 and 3 fes is the best way to play those games because femc is a mess and Maria is meh.
P4G is overhyped compared to P3. P3 is truly a special game worthy of everyone’s time.
