I only played vanilla p5 but in that game Morganas low defence was always completly unnoticeable to me. Meybe I am just to good at keeping damage liw with buffs debuffs and status effects.

This is impressive. It also sort of proves something else I have long suspected. Joker be TOO OP. Because with Joker, that last phase would have been done in like 5 or less turns. Despite that, the fact this is even possible without him shows how OP they get by semester 3. BUT Joker could do all this solo; and faster too. He's the only character in the game that is capable of being immune to virtually every kind of attack possible- at all times while always having the ability to exploit or create weakness in everyone else- also at all times. Without having to pay a dime for DLC either. They just give you broken AF unique skills early. But by level 25 or 26, You can pay out the ass with in game Yen for broken shite like Black Frost that can be turned into an absolute monster with skill cards and steamroll the rest of the game on Merciless in your first playthrough if you wanted to. Or just pay for the walking invincible tactical nuke with the initials IN - *OP* and just blast everything in the game with an attack capable of pretty much 1 shotting a god. P5R has such "balanced" combat and I love it. That's why I love these videos. I love seeing how it's possible to break the game by optimizing usage of every game mechanic available in the game. For all that grinding, you get to live out your power fantasy. It's satisfying AF.
It's actually a useful tactic against lavenza; baton pass to boost attack power (we desperately that boost), plus AoA's actually don't do a ton of damage against Lavenza. Regular move does far more.
@@LuckyFlanker13 just her. Lavenza has a hidden almighty resistance (if I'm not wrong) so all out attacks do around 100 damage even with max level and best weapons. Nothing else in the game has that.
Ann and Haru were the MVPs of this fight for me (outside of Joker ofc). High Energy is busted, Lavenza starts a lot of phases with fire, and concentrated Blazing Hell ended the ailment phase in one hit (I also used rage and read all of the Kichijoji books). Haru came in clutch with OSK during the crit phase (gave her an Apt Pupil accessory) and Life Wall stopping the chainsaw shenanigans.
I have been wanting to play this, but have been waiting on a portable version. I don't know whether to just get the Royal version, or just cheat and get the ps3 version on RPCS3. Edit: Portable, because I am out on the road alot.
The only problem I have when fighting levanza is, my personas are "super personas". The problem is that I completely forget to grind my teammates to lv 99.

Especially with Royal's additions, you could see yourself with every Confidant, all technical ranks up, baton pass levels for every party member and social stat maxed out with two weeks to spare on the final palace. I did it on new game Hard and Merciless mode so you'll definitely get away with it if you do it on a lower difficulty. So dont stress about who to max out first. Everyone is gonna get maxed out eventually. Just use the characters you like.

Never use showtimes against Lavenza sure fire way of losing the fight sometimes I think the game brings up showtimes at the wrong time, not bad battle here, and never do all out attacks those get weaker as the game goes on and do less damage.
Though showtimes are not recommended at all in this fight, I would be satisfied with Akechi's & Joker's as the finishing blow. Just need to keep track of HP and RNG.

Lavenza is only neutral to Nuke during a few turns in Phase 4, Checkmate costs 3x more SP than Debilitate and isn't needed bc single target, casting Rage is a better ailment than Forget bc it lowers defense. I would've brought her in, but it would've used up turns without making a difference

Stat gains from the Jazz Club carry over into NG+, for Akechi it affects both his Personas. Jazz Club skills can be relearned at the Church
