@@PhantomEnderium yeah, that’s why I specifically meant teams. The other Persona users are cool, but they don’t have any “strategies” since they don’t have a team to work with

Just had this fight, and while it was about as easy as I remember from FES, the fact that they can Shift is a super, super cool thing that they didn't have to add. When I saw that, it made me really happy for some reason.
Not that difficult, but they're definitely not pushovers unlike the Original game. Now I like them even more, along with the fact that they already have their own side story. EDIT: Now, imagine if you kill Takaya first, and Jin is able to cast Recarm/Recarmdra.
When I played this game I had Ken in my party and he was knocked down and Takaya used his basic attack (a.k.a just shooting him in the face ) and the attack reflected … That must have been awkward
I feel like that's important to remember when regarding their strength canonically as opposed to just in-game mechanics. They only have half the number of combatants as you and they hold their own really well, especially in this version of Persona3. 1 on 1, they probably outmatch every member of SEES besides Makoto.
@@brendansage6876Also, Takaya and Jin are very good at sniping weaknesses here. Once one of them goes down, the other goes ballistic and actively snipes weaknesses mercilessly
@@ClearmindArtist I assume we're talking about different versions of Persona3? if you're two-shotting them in P3R, you're either extremely overleveled, playing on Safety difficulty, or BS'ing us. In Reload they've got proper boss health, especially compared to the o.g. game. I mean, look at the damage dealt to them in this video.
They still don't look to be _too_ insane to beat, but the fact that Strega is actually a challenge is a big improvement. They almost downed Mitsuru and Yukari multiple times and took roughly 10 minutes to beat, where before they'd be lucky to get you to half health on anything besides Hard Difficulty, and if the fight took more than 2 minutes you took an insane amount of time to beat them. I also love the fact that they can Shift to each other, which really helps the image that Strega is an inverted, evil counterpart to SEES. Jin also looks to be way tougher than Takaya in this fight. Did he have flashbangs and shock grenades in the original game? Those things looked deadly as hell, and he was taking less damage than Takaya for the most part.
@@angel_aeon I just checked the SMT wiki, and for the fight on the Moonlight Bridge in P3 FES Jin/Moros know the skills Mudo, Mudoon, Maragion, and Tarukaja, and that's it. So basically the only thing he has to damage you outside of his frag grenades (no flashbangs or shock grenades, the wiki confirmed it) are two IK skills that he needs to pray to Nyx that he lands and a move that deals medium fire damage to all enemies, which is alright, but it's basically his only good move, lol.
