I find it so weird how Tuchel, Rose, Maresca and Terzic all backed Sancho and said he's a professional and training well but with Ten Hag he suddenly is this lazy arrogant prick. And then this thing with Ronaldo. It is so weird. Giving Anthony so many chances and defending him always but throwing Ronaldo and Sancho out and trash them. It is really weird.
I think he is just jealous of his lid tbh
Also Gullit and Sneijder are not a fan of Ten Hag as well.
Ten Hag is the only manager that Man United bent over backwards for (they didn’t do this for anyone ever, not even Fergie) and yet still performs poorly. He keeps saying everyone around him is the problem but at this point, since everyone and everything changed for him and the problem still exists, maybe he is the problem.
(But in Ten Hag’s defense, many things can be true at once as well. Sancho might be petulant specifically just with him thanks to the secret beef that we will never know. Meanwhile, when Sancho is with everyone else, he becomes very motivated and discipline. This possibility is not that far-fetched).
Sancho doesn't even like United, I don't understand why some united fans like sancho so much. You're acting like Ten Hag hadn't given him the time off to fix his mental health. While earning 250K per week during that. But its Ten Hag's fault?
there were reports even back in dortmund that he was lazy in training. and eth gave that man a 4 month paid break to train in the netherlands, no social media etc due to his mental health, and he still came back and underperformed. its not like he didnt get chances
People don't get it, it's not about right or wrong. Ten Hag's in a position of power, so if there's issues like that it's his fault. This isn't personal, ten hag could be a great guy and Sancho could be a lazy piece of shit but you find ways to make him perform. Sancho's late to training and acting like a child? Hire a driver to wake him up and chauffeur him to training every morning like a child. It's not about being right or wrong it's about finding solutions. Read ancelotti's book. Of course footballers are going to be divas, it's easier to get them to perform than it is to change who they are as people so do that.

@@mr.gilbert2790 whether you pay £6.50 or £85m Anthony isn't good enough, Onana is no upgrade on De Gea, Martinez is average, nothing great and De Ligt is today's Phil Jones. All were Ten Hag's signing choices
@@Chris-oz9qx I agree that onana and Antony were poor signings, but the hate on Martinez and de ligt is completely unreasonable and only coming from “fans” that don’t watch the games. Martinez was United’s best performer when they come 3rd, but unfortunately he was injured for almost all of last season. Obviously it’s gonna take time for him to catch up to speed. And de ligt has played well so far but for some reason he received a ton of hate before he even signed, and now every thing he does is heavily scrutinised. There’s a reason why Bayern fans made a PETITION to not sell de ligt; he was that good and tuchel was too obtuse to use him. There’s a reason why tuchel doesn’t have a job. Finally, sir Alex Ferguson signed multiple terrible goalkeepers throughout his career, he also signed many terrible outfield players. Managers don’t always get it right when they sign players. Even Pep has had to sell players he signed personally. People are blaming ten hag for the prices that were payed for these players, and they are saying with the amount spent that they should be doing better. But in reality, it’s not his fault that so much money was wasted. It’s the Glazer’s fault that the budget was completely blown due to their ineptitude. If the Glazer’s actually knew how to negotiate, Ten Hag would’ve had an extra 200 mill at least to spend on more players. Even then, the Glazer’s would take all summer to sign players, slowing down the progress and missing opportunities in the process. Ten Hag can only do with what he’s got, and the Glazer’s made it extremely hard to do so.

Quite honestly as a United fan I’ve wanted Ten Hag out since the second he arrived. He is not the type of manager that can handle a club like United. United needs what we had under Sir Alex. We need structure and youth development, we create big players… we don’t sign them. And while he has promoted Mainoo to the first team and has helped Garnacho grow he has done fuck all else. He switches the team up completely every game, if a sub has a good game you instantly know they’ll be starting the next. People say he is a disciplinarian but he has no discipline himself. He needs to find something that works and stick to it. He would be a great manager for a side like Wolves or any other mid table side but this is Manchester fucking United for gods sake we need a manager who fits the bill of a big club and will play like it. We are the biggest club in the world and Ten Hag will never be capable of managing a team of the magnitude of United. After the FA cup final everyone was saying “oh don’t fire Ten Hag” for fucks sake if you watched all the games in the rest of the season like me you would understand that sometimes a trophy doesn’t mean a manager should stay. Because most United fans aren’t glory hunters, we actually care about the club. The rich history and ethics is what makes United attractive. United set the benchmark for youth creation, resilience and resemblance for the working class man whilst including a history that includes tragedy and subsequent success. The best club ever, period. They don’t need the corruption that teams like Real Madrid, Barca and Juve needed. They don’t need to be the only good team in their countries like PSG and Bayern Munich. They survived against the odds and created their own platform to rise against the rest. Busby babes, Munich ‘58, class of ‘92, 2007 resurrection, United has it all. United fans are loyal and actually care about football, unlike City/chelsea/madrid/barca/bayern fans

Honestly I think ten hag deserves this season. People forget that United had to use players like evans, Lindelof, wan bissaka as key players last season. This season even when it was our 3-0 loss to Liverpool we’ve had control over the possession, created more chances and conceded less chances against us compared to last season and with players like hojlund, yoro, mainoo, Garnacho and amad the youth is doing so well under the ETH era. I’d like to atleast see what he can do with ugarte, de ligt, mazzouri and zirkzee this season instead of Maguire, evans and Lindelof

As a united fan I agree with most of the stuff you say in the video but we now have to give ETH till Christmas atleast as this squad has majority of his players which will be replaced by a new manager so we have to hope that this works. Also we have been developing a style of play this season. The europa league game was a blip but in the league I have seen us play a certain way ( doesnt always work). We usually start off well but in the second half he either gets the subs wrong or even the smallest change to the players ruins the system which is why we either concede or look scrappy on paper.
What's the style of play? Seems like mostly counter attacking to me. They can't play out from the back or move the ball well between thirds. Are we watching the same games?

Sacking ETH is as stupid as sacking Ole was, remember how Rangnick went?? I'm sick of this short term mentality that has been created by Oil Clubs and those alike who purchase their results.
I was at the game on Wednesday, the worst bit about the team is the long spells in possession where either nobody is making a run or nobody is coming towards the ball to create an option. At the moment it feels like the Watford game when Ole was in charge, only a matter of time before the board get rid and either give the job Ruud until the end of the season or they’ll go and get Tuchel right away. Weirdly enough we are actully playing better this season, but not getting the goals. Our defence is conceding less shots and we are creating way more big chances.
The Premier League is also arguably the strongest its ever been. Its been a log jam in the upper-mid teir of the table the last couple years, the skill level between say the 3rd best team and the 18th best is almost negligible these days, where it once was seamingly light years difference in skill level in the past.
All this being said, a point or two makes a much larger difference at seasons end. So if you're not at full trot with the rest of the thoroughbreds all year long, you may find yourself way down in the standings, example being Chelsea.
The 5th seed can become the 12th seed in the course of a week or two.
We didn't do anything last night because we started Maguire, he does have a structure now or more of one, we just have no depth whatsoever and when we had an injury crisis i think this season is gonna be a ton of rotating the team around as he's worried of having that happen again. As you can see when we have De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot and Mazraoui as a back 4 we go up the pitch more and play more attacking, as soon as Maguire is brought back it's back to hoofing the ball long and once again defending and hitting on the counter
To be fair to EtH, this season, especially recently, I have seen signs of a style of play, even at Brighton despite the loss. The match against Liverpool, EtH got it all wrong.
But the real problem in my opinion, is that he is shooting himself in the foot by not hooking players off and making subs way too late. He is still relying on moments players like Rashford and Bruno which is weird, because he has players that can play, to the style he wants to play to finally and Rashford and Bruno, at this point in time, are ruining his system.
I am losing faith in EtH but there is no world where I would take Tuchel. Nobody has anything good to say about him, he has been in beautifully run clubs and failed, with the exception of a UCL with Chelsea but considering the clubs he has managed, he should have won so much more, my buddies who are Bayern fans, were delighted to see him leave, they even label him the worst manager they had for the last 20 years!!!

Firstly, we have seen progress under ETH, particularly this season, he joined United after our worst performing season ever and took us to top 4 and won us the Carbow Cup, the second season was stifled by terrible injury's all across the squad worse than any other team and although finishing 8th is unacceptable he still somehow managed to win us the FA Cup, now this seasoan we have seen him implement an attractive style of play (now that he has his own players) where we average over 50% possession in every game we have played (including Liverpool), we try to create cut back chances and we try and press high up on the pitch. We played well in and should have beat Brighton and Palace, fair enough we should have lost against Liverpool they were much better than us but if we would have beat them, we would be top four on 12 points. He has also helped developed youth massively. The only problem I have seen this season is him not dropping Bruno in games that he has played terrible in and, until the game against Place not resting Rashford. Now that he has this own signing and after seeing the way he wants to play this season I believe he will turn it around especially because most of our players will get better as the season progresses, like Amad, Kobbie, AG and his new signings so i think unless things go horribly wrong that we should give him at least until Christmas to see some more progress. I think it would also be stupid to sack him now because we have only just started seeing the fruits of ETH and the people above him working together bringing in youth from across the world. Finally, if we were to bring in a new manager if has to be Van Nisilroy because he wouldn't tare the squad apart and would not make new signings as he believes and is part of ETH vision.
So they had a successful disciplinarian in Jose Mourinho, then sacked him only to then hire a crap disciplinarian in this bald Frank De Boer?!
Madness! Madness and Stupidity!
I always come back to the same conclusion… all this team needed to do was back Jose Mourinho. The special one for sure.

I agree with Vizeh wholeheartedly. I remember last season when United won the FA Cup, United fans were laughing at us saying they had a better season. Did you though? Sure you won something but your team is not going anywhere. When Arteta came in he had a plan. Erase everything before him, completely rebuild a team in his image, and go for the title. He has done that, it just took a while. With ten Haag, like Vizeh said, what is he doing with the squad? What is going on there? I don't see anything.
If there’s one man who needs to watch this video… it’s Goldbridge

I can't see how anyone can rate ETH after the team's very poor performances over the years, and more disturbing his post-match press conferences after these games. The last time Manchester United played well and controlled a game was October 19th, 2022. That's almost two(2) years now.
As a ManU fan, I think people severely under appreciate how poorly taped-together everything was before he arrived
Ragnik correctly said we needed open heart surgery. And it didn’t even start until we got Ratcliff…
I don’t know if ETH is the answer to ManU’s problems, but while the glazers are still around, any manager will be fighting an uphill battle
There is a lot that can be said behind the scenes of the club. But having the transfer money and players he wanted, surely you need to see something of a system or improvement on the pitch after a while?
I have never fallen out of touch with a manager than Ten Hag. At least previous managers like Jose and Van Gaal, their press conferences were comedy gold especially Van Gaal
Ten Hag managed to drive Cristiano Ronaldo away, a club and game legend gone from the club because Ten Hag’s ego couldn’t handle him.
If that does not show how terrible of a manager he is, nothing will.
Ironically, in this case it was Cristianos ego. He doesnt really fit into modern game, with all 11 pressing. ETH wanted from him to do defensive work, Cristiano didnt want to, used poor state of club as an exscuse to set up interview that will show him in good light. Simple. Which doesnt change thae fact that ETH isnt manager suited for this job.

Ten hag is a clown but he was in the right with ronaldo and it showed, he was absolutely right with that and many managers when they came in they immediately challenged "the legends" of the club and the game because they were old and just done for
What he did and the board backing him was a start every manager dreams about it's basically solidifying your dominance and charge over the club and players He did the right thing but that's not enough when you have the tactical knowledge of mark goldbridge
As a united fan I don't know what we would do if we sacked ten hag. This would be the same thing we have done for 12 years. Hire a new manager they have a great year, they have a bad second year, they either get fired or stick around for the start of the third year and get fired then. Ten Hag has had a much better style of play this season then the previous two. This is still not good enough for man utd, but I am not sure what we do or where we go from here.
Bang on hes getting sacked. This video is gonna age like wine
That’s what they said about sir Alex Ferguson. He was gonna get sacked.
It would be cool if Man United could have a short transitional period where the team can bring on a new manager, and slowly work the team into a new system, while keeping Ten Hag as 'official' manager until the transfer window. Then the new manager has low-pressure experience before the transfer window to build their part of the team and make it theirs officially, without fully halting and re-routing the team's growth.

2:28 I literally said "naive" right on time out load LOL Confidence is fine but you need to stay rooted in reality.
Honestly, wish we'd just sack, ETH.
The thing is this season is the playstyle is there.
They have the big chances missed by a large margin. What do you expect the coach to teach the players to bury chances?
They got Ruud as Assistant coach for the striking issues. Like what more can he do at this point?
Half of the goals are basically player errors leading to goals.
Edit: it is way too early. Ten games minimum verdict. Twente match seems like players underestimated them.
Icl as a united fan i agree with pretty much everything you said. In 5 years we will still be waiting for things to click😅
As Barca fans, watching Man Utd play is like watching 11 Ferran Torres...
Can't find spaces, lackadaisical passing, can't finish chances, no energy BUT sometimes show a glimpsed of great potential only to be let down next matches.. It's depressing lmaoo
Have you actually been watching United this season? Or just jumping on the "Ten Hag Out" bandwagon for clicks ala Talksport?
With the exception of Liverpool, United created enough chances to win our games. Prior to the Palace game, we'd scored 10 goals in two games. Even if one of those was Barnsley, you can only beat who is in front of you.
Already this season we've seen a difference in comparison to last. We're no way near as open as we were, we've done some good business in the transfer market with Mazrauei (have to check the spelling) looking like the steel of the season and De Ligt showing he's not the lightweight defender that bias ex-pros like Graham Souness suggested. Rashford looks like he got some confidence back.
The result against Twente wasn't entirely down to Ten Hag. With the exception of players, it was a full strength team, albeit with players still getting used to their team mates and getting fitness. We just took them lightly.
People are actually buying into the narrative that the media is creating
Finally a sane utd fan. Most of the people moaning about getting rid of ETH doesn't even watch the games. They only saw posts from 433 for the final scoreline. The palace game easily could have been 5-0 if we had been more clinical in our finishing. It's crazy how people keep mentioning the results from the past season, and not taking into account the amount of injuries we've had all season. How are you supposed to perform with no LB, no RW, barebone CB (Casemiro was playing as CB in some games ffs)
Been a united supporter all my life(im 19)I am still puzzled on why we didn’t hire OGS as our head coach, Ole was like a revelation, he came in and it was like the club did a whole 360, He brought back Ronaldo and i wont lie when i say that time was the most excited ive ever been to watch united games…Then we signed Ten Hag

Personal thoughts from a chelsea fan:
In my opinion, Erik ten Hag has done exactly what every manager should strive for - winning trophies. In just two years, he’s already got Man United a carabao cup and fa cup and has achieved more than Arsenal have in recent seasons. A club like Arsenal should be winning the Premier League, and the same goes for Manchester United, but neither has managed it for years now. Mikel Arteta, despite his promising work at Arsenal and making them a quality consistent side and the level they are at, have only won a Community Shield, which hardly compares.
For Ten Hag, I believe the key focus now has to be securing a top-four finish, although that’s going to be challenging with teams like Chelsea and Aston Villa showing strong form this season. If he can also take United deep into the Europa League and secure either a Europa League title or Champions League qualification, he absolutely deserves to stay on.
What are your thoughts everyone, lets keep it cool in the replies 😃.
Ten hag isn’t good enough to manage a club as big as Utd. He crumbles under pressure and makes selfish/ stupid decisions. It almost feels like he’s trying to be someone he’s not. A dictator type manager must be respected. His football must demand respect. His results and reputation must demand respect. Eth does NOT demand respect. This is a major problem.
I am Eth out but who can replace him. We’re half way through his rebuild so we’d have to rip it up and start again which would throw away how many seasons, but if we stay with Eth, we will continue to be mediocre hoping for the best.
Long story short. We are screwed both short term and long term. May God help us all ( United fans )
As a United fan who's watched about 85% of United games under Ten Hag I can say that mostly we were either carried by somewhat quality players like Bruno and Rashford and when their form dropped our team's form also dropped. There was never any real tactics of Erik Ten Hag. And most of the fanbase is only supporting him because we've made so much progress with him and if he goes we'll have to start from 0 again. I feel like we should give him some time like arsenal have to arteta but next season if its the same then we sack him.
As a Chelsea fan, i do have a bias against Man Utd
That said, i personally do not like Ten Hag. It might be because of the Mason Greenwood situation. That's a disgusting mess that he probably had little to do with but eh??
It might be because of his attitude. That trying to imitate the Morinho arrogance. He just doesn't have the vibes.
And his tactics and strategy, well....
United only seems to only be successful despite Ten Hag. As you mentioned, individual brilliance. Coz football is as much a game about moments as it is about strategy and tactics.
For God's sake, they performed worse than Chelsea. That is literally unforgivable.
Out of all the things to not like him for, it's the Greenwood situation for you? Really? Regardless of the manager greenwood was never going back to united...

Last season united had a style

Stick to Burnley mate.
I find the Sancho situation to be worrying regarding the Ten Hag situation. Of course Sancho has a history with his professionalism off the pitch but even under Solskjær I found him very promising as a winger, pairing well with Ronaldo and Rashford, creating threats and bringing the play up. We obviously can't be sure of all that happened between closed doors, but watching Sancho putting masterclasses in the UCL with Dortmund, getting to a UCL final with records dribbles passed IIRC and what he does now at Chelsea, only to be trashed and benched (nay, not even brought up in the match sheet) shows a big fracture between the manager and the players imho. I still think the Sancho case is the biggest case of the distance we could witness between ETH and his players so I really wonder if the players have that "I would die on the pitch for the Coach" mentality...
Anyway, good for Salah, he thrives on this situation when he goes to Old Trafford and for that I am happy eheh

I’m hoping one day we can find a manager who actually fits this club. I’m not asking for another Ferguson, but at this point it’s just depressing to be so disappointed week in and week out. Our attack needs some serious help. Midfield could be better, too. I think the only place we’re doing half decent is defense. Most of our players need to go, though. They don’t work well together, and especially not with a manager who can’t put together a strategy.
great video as always man , while i agree that the style of play is questionable as a utd fan idk what to think . previous managers couldnt get the style of play they wanted either so maybe its the players unable to adapt or unwilling idk its weird
I actually don't get what the media and the extremely impatient fans is saying about ten hag this season is about anything but just down to bad luck and individual mistakes they are creating really good high quality chances and playing more comfortably on the ball
I won't be shocked if everything start falling into place little by little over the next couple of weeks
Maybe some people forget this is real life not career mode things take time especially in a shift of ownership going from the club trying to buy their way to success to trying to develop players to take them to that success
In other words it's in a transition period and turning your back at your manager after a couple of bad games and sacking him and hiring a new manager means the club will have to start from scratch
And the media isn't helping at all
To the point that they were criticizing/mocking him for talking to garnacho before subbing him on vs twente just to name one out of many
If the outlets people are getting their sport news from are against him whether he does something right or not looking for little ''mistake" here and there in everything he does and magnifying it out if proportion just to make him seem incapable is concerning
Hiring and Firing helped United so much the last 10 years, didnt it? ;)

The first year was promising with United starting to play a certain style of football.
Second year was riddled with injuries in a squad that is not very deep. Remember that Casemiero was playing CB at times. So it made sense why there was a lack of direction at times.
This third season is just weird. He has the players and even tho we have some injuries the squad playing is still the first team level. Yet there seems to be no sense of direction again this year. It's just weird how this is happening again and again at United. Something is just wrong.Idk if it's the players, the board, or what. The only reason I still want to back Ten Hag is that changing the manager just hasn't worked for too long. It makes sense to just stick it out longer this time to see if something can be fixed.
I agree with some of these points, but others are incorrect. It feels like you're exaggerating. The lack of goals was partly because we didn’t have a proper striker in Ten Hag’s first season. In the second season, we had Rasmus, who did well given that it was his first year in the Premier League. While we haven't scored much, we have been creating chances, and in this game, we’ve missed enough opportunities for about 10 goals. That's not entirely on the manager. You know this video will get views. Maybe Ten Hag won't stay as manager, but you have to be fair-it’s not his fault that the players' performance drops off after one half. The mentality issues are more on the players, though the manager should take responsibility for his substitutions and man management, which I think could improve.
After yesterdays 0-3 performance, I am unsure which Manchester United player can hit a positive form of games and help the team individually because collectively, they have not shown to be cohesive enough. They look limited in the attacking half while vulnerable in the defensive half. The same situation happened vs Twente and vs Spurs where you have a defensive player running rampant and breaking lines at ease like a hot knife through butter. Porto lost their first game away in UEL and will fight to turn that around. Aston Villa host Bayern Munich and then host Manchester United. Emery already beat Bayern with Villarreal and can stun them once more.
It's a difficult one, I'd rather back ETH and avoid having Southgate coming in. If nothing improves after this season then he has to go but we shall see I guess... Can see Ruud replacing him with Ole
the only possible redemption is in my opinion is getting Zidane but i doubt they will do that.
Zidane already said he won't do it because he can't speak English pretty well...He is man management manager so he need to communicate to player...He is not top tactical manager..

He doesn't have any anymore, this is now his team
He doesn't choose how much he spends, he just asks for players and sometimes gets them, yes he's been backed and yes there's signs. No point getting on his back now when he's been given an extra year, and won't be sacked before December at least. Get behind him, and see if he can make the very good passages become more often, and get the strikers scoring goals.
