You hit it on the head. Man Utd used to have a "never say die" attitude that made them almost irresistable to support. It was also why the legend around Fergie Time appeared. Man Utd would play 120% right up to the final whistle.

@@Rip889 A "European Glazer" would know better than to mess with a club like United. They would have been raised in a culture where they understood what these teams mean to the communities and countries that they're based in. A "European Glazer" would know that they're entitled to run the club like a business and even make a profit from it but that profit comes in the form of an exit strategy, after you've delivered success. They would know that United aren't the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and you don't get to just take money out every year without delivering on success. That breaks the social contract between owner and fan.

I agree but has also conceded more than any other manager within these few years. Probably, in the entire history of the club. Ten Hag is trying so hard to put a square object in a round hole 🕳️. The one that he's doing wrong is trying to play a champagne football with the kinda players and injuries he has. He's failing as a manager to recognise this as a problem.

Verón was not a flop! Verón was a great player. It wasn't as successful as people dreamed it would be, but he was still a very good player.
Problems were that Utd changed their system to try fitting Keane, Scholes, and Verón in all together and that didn't quite work out as hoped. Another difficulty was that Verón's English wasn't good enough. He was a vocal player and leader in Italy and Argentina. Keane always points out "characters in the dressing room." That part of Verón's game was stifled at Utd because of the language barrier, plus Keane was already the vocal player in midfield. Verón still played very well. The team just wasn't as successful as they could've been, or as they had been in the 3 seasons prior.

As a Man Utd fan our problems go beyond the Manger, it’s the board and the owners that have affected what player we buy. It’s no wonder why all those mangers failed they weren’t give the tools to succeed because there more to it than how much money you spend like the recruitment department being poor leading to bad signings and no director of football to help the manger. So I’m ETH IN because he needs help from a proper board to clear out the dead wood and bring in the best and hopefully sir Jim can give him that

But ETH caused most of his problems. He had a decent squad, spent millions to replace players who didn't need to be replaced.
He bullied veterans of United like De Gea and CR7... Then spent MORE money to replace them.
He keeps whining that he doesn't have the players he wanted. It is just insane to stick with him.

@@xCestLaVie1 incorrect when he come into United he took over the worst performing Man Utd side in our history that finished with on 58 point in the league, and he didn’t bully Ronaldo or De Gea he try to use both of them but Ronaldo couldn’t press or work in the system ETH was trying to implement. And with De Gea all tho he was a great keep he’s not a sweeper keeper, he’s a Shot stopper, keep which works better in a pressing team, example being Allison at Liverpool, so it was inevitable De Gea was going to be replaced and he hasn’t gotten all the players he wanted as he want Harry Kane, Kim Min Jae, De Jong etc that United could get because on not have a enough money so get him second and third opinion like Casemiro, who still this has been great for us mostly, and he wasn’t the one who negotiated the fees for players and their wages that’s on the club and board not the manager plus your forget that other big clubs like Bayern like and respect ETH and have tried to get him off us and so that means if a club like that, which is in way better position than Man Utd, would like him as coach then the proves he’s a good coach plus he just won us an FA Cup and bring in young stars through like Garncho, Mainoo, Hojiund and many more from the youth academy, which he plays a big part in and who have just won the under-18 league, and transfers. So is worth sticking with ETH? YES! Yes it bloody is ETH IN!!!

Over the last decade, everything has been so "reactionary" to what others were doing and it led to over a billion wasted with no major trophy (no premier league, no champions league). At times I feel bad for Manchester United’s downfall. Under Sir Alex Ferguson with footballing legends they were dominating the premier league year in year out and not only did they have phenomenal players, they had leaders and players who would fight for the badge and do everything in their power to win. Now they’re a laughingstock and ever since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, they’ve become a squad full of mercenaries who get signed underperform yet get paid a lot of money no matter how they play. From fallouts with players, consistent managerial changes, poor recruitment, having one good season, yet come back down to earth, they seem to have many problems that cannot be resolved.
Every big signing bar Bruno Fernandes has flopped at Manchester United, but none of them come worse to Antony. How do you pay 100 million for a winger only for him to go 12 months without a premier league goal. The guy is nothing more than a fidget spinner meaning that every time he has the ball, bro is spinning in circles more than he’s actually trying to dribble a player. What about paying 80 million for a 30 year old, only they can do that. Other signings like Harry Maguire Romelu Lukaku Paul Pogba Memphis Depay Jadon Sancho etc, have all flopped. They can make a world class player look very average. For example, Alexis Sanchez during his time at Arsenal was one of the best players in the premier league, yet was a shadow of his former self at Manchester United. Someone like Wayne Rooney was excellent when he was at Everton and he became one of the best players on Manchester United’s history. More of the same from Cristiano Ronaldo not much to be said about him and from that you now have a 100 million spinner who has gone over a year without scoring in the premier league. It’s nothing more than a graveyard for players and every top player they sign, seems to flop. What ends up happening is that they try to get rid of them, but they can’t do they because their wages are simply too high. They’ve overpaid for these players in terms of wages and transfer fee and this is a mistake that they can continue to make over and over again and that’s part of their problems. It’s obvious to me that Manchester United needs a serious overhaul of the squad because that’s not a football club at all it’s a mess that cannot be resolved.

When I look at Man U. history I see that at least 5 years/seasons were needed for Ferguson to get the team into shape. By shape, I mean, from the sixth season under Ferguson's management, Manchester started to keep and maintain the first class football and also the league wins began. And never dropped under 3-rd place in P.League until Ferguson's retirement. And after he retired the next season Manchester finished 6-th place (last time they finished sixth place was when it was Ferguson's 5th season with them). So now we see how they change managers every 2 or 3 years. What can you do for 3 years? Nothing. Staff at Man. United clearly forgot their history and their path to success. It took 5 seasons. Solskjaer had the most seasons in Man United as a manager (3 years). I am for Ten Hag to continue to manage Manchester United.
We need 5 seasons at least. With one manager.

Right but this video creator, who definitely wasn’t watching United in 2000-2003, is obviously putting Veron on a list because he heard it somewhere.
If you watched the team at the time, Veron still showed class. Also; this was a reference to Fergies flop signings, we can name plenty, DjEmba DjEmba, Obertan etc.. Veron does not belong on that list

United is a great team it is a legend. Coming into area after the Munich disaster. What is lacking is the trust amongst the owners and the manager in charge. You need to gave that trust. You change managers and players to win atrophies.
It is the belief that must be in.place. there arebteams with managers in the league, who went down and back into the premier league.

Thanks for pointing out that sacking another manager will not fix United's problems. For me more than half this team needs to be sold. If Ten Hag was brought in as a long term manager to rebuild the team then the owners have to give him the time to do that, and do it with players who want to play for United, not just collect a fat paycheck. People forget that Fergie struggled in he's first few season at United, to a point where he was almost sacked the season before winning our first premiere league title. It's time the players started facing the consequences of their poor performances and stop blaming the manager.

Now when the players have been training on the new plan and got used to it, then they are forced to change it cause ronnie signed and the plan had to change its bound to mess up.
But ole stated that at the started of 2021 summer transfer window, pre season and the start of that season ole hadnt planned for ronnies return. Thus for ole didn't want him at united

Players such as rashford, sancho needs to be sold because they already act like messi or ronaldo while playing.

Then, Arsenal fell off for a while and the rivalry kind of died. Then, now Arsenal is flying through the ranks and becoming dominant, Manchester United is terrible. I wonder if that rivalry will ever come back.

It’s easy throwing sh*t at ManUtd. Everyone knows Ferguson is irreplaceable. Managers like him or Guardiola are born once in a generation.
As a ManUtd fan since the mid 90s, I believe we will find our way to the top of the Premiership, sooner or later. There likely won’t be another ManUtd dominant era for a while, but that’s fine with me. As long as the team keeps pushing for better performances, I’m confident ManUtd will return to glory. Even for one season at the top of the Premier League’s table.
Besides, we won the FA cup! It’s not all doom and gloom.
