as a Sporting fan, theres three things to know. He did rotate players, usually the two wing backs, the central mid paired with Hjulmand (morita/braganca) and 1 if not two of the central defenders, and one of the attacking 10s, of course depending on health. 2-he is not afraid to make his subs early and often to change the game, usually the wing backs and central mid positions, and often those subs made the impacts he was looking for. like yesterdays match against Braga. 3-his time at Sporting, he definitely prioritizes central defenders during tranfer windows. hope this helps understand Amorim better
Alright so as a united fan I would be lying if I said I was mad at the appointment. As you quite rightly said he can’t do much worse. I’m very excited to see how his play style works in the prem where there’s a lot more physicality and I’m also concerned about the players attitudes cuz as we’ve seen they’re not too accepting to change. I think Bruno is gonna be showing his absolute best as captain here tho to demand the players fall in line and listen to the coach. I’m excited basically. And very nervous. So yeah. Thanks for the video Adam it’s always interesting to see your tactical breakdowns
@@Violesada inb4 he makes Garnacho the best wingback ever lol. I'm joking but also curious, and if he does make Garnacho play wingback, it will likely be as an inverted wingback like Catamo or Quenda do, which gives them both plenty of chances to shine at Sporting.
I’m a sporting fan, and after each game i love to analyze amorim’s tactic for the game. Believe me when I say that if your players are not willing to change, he’ll bench them and get players suited for what he wants, and he’s going to get it right. And even I that don’t watch that many United games, know that he can make Garnacho a WB suited for that position, and if you have a game that he needs more defense, he sits Garnacho and brings Shaw. One of our best WB is only 17y and if you go look at his 1st game defensively it was nothing compared to how he was with City. Amorim doesn’t care if you do a 10* star game, if he feels that the next game he needs another person with different characteristics he’ll sub it.
@@mattos1906 I think tbh garnacho would suit that direct cam position more than wingback. You know how Amorim plays a deeper more playmaker type cam and then a cam who’s basically just a winger. Garnacho would do that cam one quite well I think. We need a Davies type player to do that lwb role tho for sure. David or Grimaldo would be perfect but I don’t think realistic for us right now maybe in a year or so
Adam you’re spot on. This could really be a turning point for Antony, I’ve been saying the same, though I would shift him to the left. He’s our most defensively resolute winger. Of course the end product isn’t there but having him in the LWB position would play to his strengths.
Lisabon, a team who supplied most of their chances to the striker won the league by a large margin. What a shock. Manchester United's wingers and attacking midfielder creates almost zero chances for the striker because they prefer shooting themselves. The attacking midfielder even takes the penalties himself, just to make sure that the striker has absolutely no chance of ever gaining any confidence. Shockingly MU is 13th in the league.
Thank you! I'm not crazy. Anthony would be a fantastic wingback. I just see it. He has it all stamina, work rate, aggression, crossing, technique, pace. He's the wingback dream honestly. And he's actually decent at defending. From a wingback, decent at defending is good enough
Wingback dream??!! Are you high??!! Anthony is terrible, positionally bad. can't cross/wont cross, can't pass, can't take on, gives the ball away, bad attitude. Is he as good as Alfonzo Davies, Theo Hernandez? NO! I'd rather see Harry Amass in there! I mean, Alexander Buttner was better!!
If you watch the Sporting games, you can see that Amorim start to use on some occasions a 4-1-4-1 using Morita (center midfielder) with the center backs
My thoughts exactly. Amorim must have a backup formation or two because premier League managers are the best in the world at adapting to the opponents.
@@lancerevo9747 he does have a backup, 4 backline formation, which I remember him using 2 times. Those were when he first arrived at Sporting with less than half a season to end and the team was in complete shambles, and this year before the Man City match because the team had tons of injuries and was reduced to only 2 CBs from the main squad. However he absolutely will make Utd play in his beloved 3 backline system as soon as he feels confident enough because that's the system he's been perfecting since forever, he has been using that system since he started as a modest 3rd tier coach in Portugal, he used it at Braga where he was able to get ahead of Sporting in the league with a comfortable enough lead that even after moving during the same season and Braga immediately declining, they were still far ahead enough to secure their 3th place finish.
All correct beside the part about his 442 on defense, he use it as well. All because Amorim use 3 CB, but the guy from left is left foot and can play as LB, and the one on the right is the same. Last season we had 442 many times. So yeah, we can defend 541 and 442. The guy is just good af.
Dude you are soooooo clever and smart and funny, I'm a United fan and I've read/watched a gazillion pieces on Amorim in the last two weeks but this is by farrrrr the best one, kudos to you my mate
As Sporting CP fan. What a farewell moment and what a introduction for Premier league. MU and SCP has a long profitable connection for Old Trafford, CR7, Nani, M. Fernandes, Ugarte and now RA. Esforço, Dedicação, Devoção e Glória eis o Sporting Clube de Portugal 💚🦁 Edit: also SCP sporting director, Hugo Viana, isgoing to Man City I'm predicting some players of SCP going to Manchester too soon 😅 (when you are from a poorer league as Portuguese league, you are selling assets without possibility of maintaining the winning eleven) 😅
Manchester United fans love and respect Sporting CP. They are my club in Portugal I always support them unless they play against us :D I even have some classic sporting CP shirts that I wear
Brilliant analysis yet again Adam. The key part is when things aren’t going well and things are breaking down, the players can fall back on the pre determined system. So if, and it’s a big if, Amorim can coach these players to understand their roles within this system, Manchester United might actually have an identity. I’m not a United fan but I’d still really like him to succeed.
Waited patiently for this one, really looking forward to his approach at united, another step down in terms of development and more time but hopefully he can instill a way of playing we can see week in week out and actually see an improvement
Victor Gyrkafivnskfds is in the same positions as Højlund. The difference is that Rashford and Garnacho always shoot (and miss) instead of crossing. Why can't we fix this?
theres still that some players from ole era left, sell them get players according to playing style ( this includes rashford, maguire, shaw and maybe only maybe bruno, but ill think bruno will work in this system as he is similar to goncalves)
Great analysis... but there is also another reason you want players in their "natural" positions, what you referred to as identity, and a very hard thing for managers that have not been players in successful teams to understand. The repetition of processes that makes players comfortable and much more resilient to hardship, the confidence in that "automation" that Amorim seems to be a master at instigating in his players. He was one of those "generational talents" that could play a lot of positions (and often did) and probably hated it ...
19:23 I watched a comp of Antony defending once and I did think he'd be decent at lb. I already knew that as soon as Adam had that tone he was going to talk about Antony.
@@TheApocalypse9Because it was an actual LB after he had just scored. If he’s asked to play LWB and to start games, there’s a big difference in perspective.
Awesome video. The best I have seen from you. 👏👏👏👏 And looking forward to the 2nd one in Amorin series you have promised, how current Man Utd players fit-in to Amorin's system.
I can't wait to see Rashford running himself down blind alleys and Bruno giving away possession all the time, but under a different manager 😂😂 I feel sorry for the guy. He's just ended his career
I think Amorim is going to to try use Antony as a Right sided CAM. Think about it, Antony is the most predictable when he is on the right wing. Teams know that Antony isn't going to cross because he is so one footed, they are waiting for him to cut inside. as a RCAM, he is already inside, he can now just get the ball in that area, use his trickery and pull the trigger. Amorim loves to have a CAM who can invert inside. He will get that with Antony and he will get that with Rashford on the left hand side. There are 5 signings I want Amorim to make; GK2: Manuel Riemann - Free Transfer in summer - Bayindir wants to start, he isn't going to get it. Make a profit and bring in an elite back up Riemann who is one of the best passing GK in the world. With Amorim wanting his keeper to be part of the defensive line with a defender moving forward having a second keeper capable of doing this should Onana get injured is important. RWB1: Jeremie Frimpong - £40m - He is absolutely lightning down the right hand side and a great crosser of the ball. LCB1: Gonçalo Inácio - £50m- Ideal LCB, great passer and tackler. Martinez can now move into being a back up LCB and back up CDM. LWB1: Alvaro Fernandez - £16.7m- Solves a huge problem for United with an incredibly well round Wing back. CM(8): Angel Gomes - Free Transfer in summer - Ideal Kobbie Mainoo back up and someone who can play in both CAM spots under Amorim. would get loads of game time.
It was interesting to see vs City, that in front of his back 5, the midfielders, supported by the CAMs, was running a screen slowly towards the side of possession in a 2-deep \ shape.
About the defencive shape (541) , its not as bad as you think , because the counter to it its just send more man foward to make pressure on the wing backs. Thats when a player with the traits of inácio and debast come in with long passing. Sporting absorbs the pressure , and then does a pass to a gyokeres run. Thats the system´s only "i need this player" , you need a great get in behind striker. Gyokeres is a perfect fit, but when he wasn´t at the club, paulinho could not fit that role , so our attack was worse. Great video !
I usually save these videos to watch later on a weekend. The red outline in the thumbnail makes it look like I have watched it already and I end up removing it from the list without watching it.
The 4-4-2 defensive shape is definitely possible. "You need to own a centre back who can play left back" Lisandro Martínez (Luke Shaw has also played LCB in a 3, don't be surprised to see that) "You need to own a number ten who is equally comfortable as a pressing forward" Bruno Fernandes has played as a pressing forward many times for us "You need to own a wing back who's not afraid to come a little bit narrower" Both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are comfortable technically in narrow areas The other wing back who will be pulled into full back will be Mazraoui or Dalot, so we're good there too. Not saying it will happen, but we have the players to do it.
Very good analysis. MU just got themselves arguably the best portuguese coach at the moment. He is good at preparing the team, good during matches (analysis/adjustment), and really good at communication (frank and avoiding being controversial just for the sake of it). And besides all that, he is really good at increasing the value of its players
I am from Portugal (and from Benfica)... perfect analysis... just some points... no system is perfect but you want a system that works most off the time (in his case a LOT) so you have a solid team... second point the players must buy the ideia and work that way (not easy)... final point is that probably you will be surprised to see what he does when he has great players 🤣(ahhh and he can incorporate some off the players from Manchester United young players and give some identity... like they had in the past)
@@wayneshamba6961 I think you will have a good surprise... just remember that Sporting is with him for 4 years... So I think you have to give them a chance
That microphone is so distracting, why do all the work on great lighting, good set design, well researched interesting content and have a big black microphone on the neck of your jumper?
I'd love to see Zirkzee-Bruno double ten (Bruno inverted winger kind of with his killer right foot, and Zirkzee as like a box crasher/second forward kinda player), with like Eriksen/Mainoo-Ugarte double 6 as the ball winning and more creative guy and then Hojlund up front.
@@alexflorek6527 i dont know if that is going to happen. I dont know if RA (Rúben Amorim) is going to play in his 3-4-3 classic or a new 3-5-2. If he choose to go for his classic 3-4-3 it's all about balance. Looking for MU squad i will say: Onana DALOT - De Ligt - Martinez The midfield he always like to have a combo of a working and fisicaly guy and a more creative and the same with the winger if he plays with a more ofensive one on the right ge uses a more defensive on the left. So it will be something like this: Mazrauoi - Ugarte/Casimiro - Bruno/Mainoo - Luke Shaw At the front he likes the wingers to go into the center so he uses the left foot on the right and the right foot on the left. So looking your squad: Garnacho/Rashforf - Hojlund/Zirkzee - Dialo/Anthony. You have almost 2 guys to the front positions but no second options (quality) to the the wing-back and the center defenders. Its a huge problem.
Amorim has been approached by other clubs including man city and everything was indicating he was definetly gona move at end of season, man utd went thru all the efforts and literally snatched him ahead.
He's got quite a few players @ OT who will be available for Ipswich. Not sure who will play where eventually but i think he'll start with a back 3 of Lindelof, Maguire, Martinez with Dalot & Malacia as WB's Mainoo & Ugarte in midfield and Mount alongside Bruno and Rashford up front...
Based on this, in the United squad: Winners: Onana, Martinez, Yoro, Dalot/Mazraoui, Ugarte (Def 6), Mainoo (att 6), Bruno (10), Hoyland Losers: Rashford, Zirkzee. Interesting to see: Garnacho (inverted 10), Antony (LWB), Maguire (who has looked decent in a 5 before but this line will be surely too high for him)
I don't see Zirkzee as a loser, in fact he used to do well the same "10" role while in Italy, he didn't play as pure striker there all the time and Italy has been having a ton of experimental systems too with the most recent generation of coaches.
As a United fan I feel excited to see a change in manager, can’t wait to see what he’s gonna do with the tools he’s got. He’s seems to have a lot of upside and he’s a very promising manager. But I do get worried that he’ll get dragged down into United’s mess and forced to play pragmatic football. Reason I get worried is that I don’t trust the squad. We’ve seen many managers come in and try their philosophies but end up just playing on the counter like I fear most of this squad want to do anyway. Clearest example in my head is when Ralf Rafgnik tried to drill the 4222 and these players only did it for one half. I want to see him get many of his own signings and two seasons under his belt before I judge him.
Great content Adam! But please, change the fonts/background colors you are using: the names of the players are not readable being white letters on light green background. FourFourTwo white on pink behind you - not readable. FourFourTwo in white again on light green background at the bottom of the screen - not readable. Just use the fonts and background that have enough contrast, like you have at the beginning of your video - red letters on clean white background. Cheers
people keep describing his tactic. Amorim's strength is his communication and how he turned a broken set of players into a TEAM. just watch a sporting game and how the subs celebrate every goal and are excited for the teams sucess. Watch a game where players like ronaldo see a team mate score and get mad it wasnt himself score... that wouldnt slide with amorim. We (sporting) had a club legend comeback, slimani, he pulled a strop over not taking over paulinhos spot as a starter, he got quickly dispatched, theres no "untoucheable" players with amorim
As a United fan, I'm excited to see Amorim's tenure start, but I also recognize the lockerroom is a mess. Additionally, Amorim has no real time to implement changes with the coming run of games and the Christmas season looming. I expect the backroom to be active in the January window, and I hope to see some personnel shipped out as well. It may be next season before we get to see Amorim's full vision.
If you have any decent talent at the academy that's where he's gonna be fetching the first reinforcements from most likely, at the very least he'll make use of it to make up for any squad deficiencies.
As a united fan I’m worried about what you said with the low block. Some teams in the prem will just sit back so I don’t know how they will get the space to get in behind. Unless he is able to adapt the system to play around the edge of the opposition box to create space I see that being a big issue
Ok, great video, thanks But what about how high are his offensive / defensive line? Did Sporting like to press opposition / try to get back ball immediately after losing possesion?
I saw the Sporting game, Amorin's style of play suits United. Sit back, sock up all the pressure and get the opponent on the break and punish them. It's what ETH played in his first season while still United manager but he changed it abit in his second and third season, that's why maybe if he had stuck to it, he would have retained his job but that wasn't the case. United are know for misusing space with the way they play by keeping it so compact and let the opponent have possession but then kill him off with quick direct counter attacks.
There are a few things I really like about Amorim and a few big questions I have. I think players being in a more static structured 3-4-3/3-2-5/3-1-6 is better than starting 4-2-3-1, defending 4-4-2 and trying to make 3-2-5/3-1-6 by players moving out of position. Our dumb dumb players will hopefully find this easier, it’ll be fine for players like Maguire and De Ligt who have experience in a back 3 and make up for deficiencies that Martinez, Lindelof and Yoro might have. The attacks being more focused on dribbling into the box could also be good. That style is what Ole tried to do, teams really don’t like it, and that’s why Penandes was a thing. It also hopefully cuts down on the “pass it around till you see an opening” ball. But… was it always the plan to go to a back 3? The rumoured options for new manager have been Amorim, Nagelsman, Tuchel, Inzaghi, they’re all 3 at the back coaches. And if 3 at the back was always the plan from Ineos, and a lot of their transfer business makes me think it was (De Ligt has played in a 3 at Juve and Bayern, Mazraoui is a wing back, Ugarte has played this system, Yoro suits this system) does that mean Branthwaite was lined up as an Ineos signing? Why didn’t we try and get a left wing back more suited to this formation in the summer? That’s definitely the glaring hole in the squad.
Who else is tempted to start a petition to get rid of all the ex-player pundits and only allow Adam Clery to present analysis on Sky & MOTD..........? 🙂
As long as Amorim does not get United relegated this season, I'm all in. It is mid-season, you can't expect much. Him coming in mid-season is already good enough.

The president has recently said that he has seen far worse players hitting those values in the market and he wasn't just talking about rivals Benfica scamming Atlético MAdrid with João Félix...
That wake up call at 0:45 felt personal but was so needed because your right how many times do I need someone to tell me you plays 343 and he’s good
It was so confusing
Easily the best football channel. Just gettting excited to watch the 1st game and the video.
at least it'll be a different style of play
at least it'll be an actual style of play
Added subscriber here. Your vids are SO much more informative than any mainstream media pundits out there
as a Sporting fan, theres three things to know.
So yeah. Thanks for the video Adam it’s always interesting to see your tactical breakdowns
there is no way that he can replicate this at united. they don't have the players for it. its gonna take time and patience.
David or Grimaldo would be perfect but I don’t think realistic for us right now maybe in a year or so
@@Violesada I agree for sure. I’m hoping as I said Bruno really comes into his own as captain and makes sure they all fall in line
Adam you’re spot on. This could really be a turning point for Antony, I’ve been saying the same, though I would shift him to the left. He’s our most defensively resolute winger. Of course the end product isn’t there but having him in the LWB position would play to his strengths.
This is the best Amorim analysis I’ve seen!! Can’t wait!
@@timclarke2661 if he's played as wing-back, he has to cross it. And he's not positionally bad at all.
I just want to see Garnacho play there lmao.
After watching many videos of tactical analysis of Amorim's system over the past week, this is the most enjoyable one for sure!
Agree with your analysis. Let's pray it pulls us out of the pain inflicted on and endured by us for fifteen seasons since Sir Alex left. Thank you. 👍👍
All correct beside the part about his 442 on defense, he use it as well. All because Amorim use 3 CB, but the guy from left is left foot and can play as LB, and the one on the right is the same. Last season we had 442 many times. So yeah, we can defend 541 and 442. The guy is just good af.
That's actually fantastic analysis, easy to follow as a casual football fan
Dude you are soooooo clever and smart and funny, I'm a United fan and I've read/watched a gazillion pieces on Amorim in the last two weeks but this is by farrrrr the best one, kudos to you my mate
The only analyst I trust
AJ analysis is good, he's a United fan that does pre, post and live analysis
Watch some DK Falcon
As Sporting CP fan. What a farewell moment and what a introduction for Premier league. MU and SCP has a long profitable connection for Old Trafford, CR7, Nani, M. Fernandes, Ugarte and now RA.
Esforço, Dedicação, Devoção e Glória eis o Sporting Clube de Portugal 💚🦁
Edit: also SCP sporting director, Hugo Viana, isgoing to Man City I'm predicting some players of SCP going to Manchester too soon 😅 (when you are from a poorer league as Portuguese league, you are selling assets without possibility of maintaining the winning eleven) 😅
Best breakdown ive seen on this guy. Its a pretty inspired choice in terms of creating a new system at United.
Victor Gyrkafivnskfds is in the same positions as Højlund. The difference is that Rashford and Garnacho always shoot (and miss) instead of crossing. Why can't we fix this?
Because like you said, Rashford and Garnacho would rather shoot (even through the most ridiculously acute angles and only God knows why).
Rashford and especially Garnacho waste so many chances. I hope he gets dropped, not good enough for United.
Change them for Pedro Gonçalves e Francisco Trincão
theres still that some players from ole era left, sell them get players according to playing style ( this includes rashford, maguire, shaw and maybe only maybe bruno, but ill think bruno will work in this system as he is similar to goncalves)
Rashford needs to learn to play football properly
That was an absolutely incredible assessment for someone that I assume doesn't watch ever game of Sporting like me. Very accurate.
What was the little warning at 0:45 about LMAOOOOO
I also do not understand it
Hes saying stop watching all the videos doing the same rinse and repeat content on Amorim & Utd.
I kinda took it as a reminder to expand your mind, keep watching the same rinse and repeat stuff you stay stagnant🤔
Enjoyable analysis as always... I could spend the whole day watching without getting bored. Thumbs up
Great analysis... but there is also another reason you want players in their "natural" positions, what you referred to as identity, and a very hard thing for managers that have not been players in successful teams to understand.
You not remember the temper tantrum he through the couple times he got told to move back to LB 😂
@@TheApocalypse9Because it was an actual LB after he had just scored. If he’s asked to play LWB and to start games, there’s a big difference in perspective.
I agree 100%. He's good at defending and has a good work rate
Best analysis I've seen in a long long time!
Awesome video. The best I have seen from you. 👏👏👏👏
And looking forward to the 2nd one in Amorin series you have promised, how current Man Utd players fit-in to Amorin's system.
The best Amorim analysis video by far.
Thank you for pronouncing Hag properly. That is all.
I can't wait to see Rashford running himself down blind alleys and Bruno giving away possession all the time, but under a different manager 😂😂
I feel sorry for the guy. He's just ended his career
I can't wait to see Rashford running
@The_Nickers fair point 😂😂
There are 5 signings I want Amorim to make;
GK2: Manuel Riemann - Free Transfer in summer - Bayindir wants to start, he isn't going to get it.
This is a good analysis, thank you
As a United fan I was so excited when we signed Hojlund but he has had no service. I really hope, like you say, he will finally flourish under Amorim
I usually save these videos to watch later on a weekend. The red outline in the thumbnail makes it look like I have watched it already and I end up removing it from the list without watching it.
Very nice analysis. Look forward to an Amorim United evolution.
The 4-4-2 defensive shape is definitely possible.
"You need to own a centre back who can play left back" Lisandro Martínez (Luke Shaw has also played LCB in a 3, don't be surprised to see that)
"You need to own a number ten who is equally comfortable as a pressing forward" Bruno Fernandes has played as a pressing forward many times for us
"You need to own a wing back who's not afraid to come a little bit narrower" Both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are comfortable technically in narrow areas
The other wing back who will be pulled into full back will be Mazraoui or Dalot, so we're good there too.
Not saying it will happen, but we have the players to do it.
I'm a Uni5ed fan and I'm so happy we got Amorim
Really interesting analysis, thank you. I'm cautiously hopeful as a United fan, but that's been true of the last few managers as well 😂
Cant wait for him to get started.
Or sacked
Worth the wait, just what I needed
Most of you don’t know it, but you’re witnessing greatness in the making. Come back here in a few years.
Always excellent Adam and very entertaining.
Surprised in a good way or a bad way? 😂 just a concerned United fan.
@@wayneshamba6961 I think you will have a good surprise... just remember that Sporting is with him for 4 years... So I think you have to give them a chance
FourFourTwo is the most entertaining channel on football analysis. Nothing comes close.
I really love your editing
Waiting for the follow up! Need it asap!
Always the best analysis. Thanks, Adam.
Great video but I can’t seem to click the like button as the light bulb at 3:41 wasn’t completely in frame. However, top analysis.
That microphone is so distracting, why do all the work on great lighting, good set design, well researched interesting content and have a big black microphone on the neck of your jumper?
Always great analysis.
I kind of prefer when I was a kid watching football and it didn’t seem so complicated! 😂
Looking for MU squad i will say:
Onana
DALOT - De Ligt - Martinez
The midfield he always like to have a combo of a working and fisicaly guy and a more creative and the same with the winger if he plays with a more ofensive one on the right ge uses a more defensive on the left. So it will be something like this:
Mazrauoi - Ugarte/Casimiro - Bruno/Mainoo - Luke Shaw
At the front he likes the wingers to go into the center so he uses the left foot on the right and the right foot on the left. So looking your squad:
Garnacho/Rashforf - Hojlund/Zirkzee - Dialo/Anthony.
You have almost 2 guys to the front positions but no second options (quality) to the the wing-back and the center defenders. Its a huge problem.
Best analysts I’ve seen so far. 🎉
Dope video. do you have one on the squad we have and how the players fit in?
Amorim has been approached by other clubs including man city and everything was indicating he was definetly gona move at end of season, man utd went thru all the efforts and literally snatched him ahead.
He was on Pool's list too, but they had Slot above him so he stayed for this season, until now.
Every media milking the Ruben news and I’m all here for it
Great analysis
My go-to football analysis channel.
Really itching to see how he'll line up with our player profiles. Perhaps Mount will finally prove his worth. Worried for our wingers though.
I think this system would suit Antony to a tee
WHO?
Please release the next video ASAP. Wtf that was a great promo at the end
Great analysis. The club has needed a hard reboot for a hot minute.
Based on this, in the United squad:
Winners:
Onana, Martinez, Yoro, Dalot/Mazraoui, Ugarte (Def 6), Mainoo (att 6), Bruno (10), Hoyland
Losers:
Rashford, Zirkzee.
Interesting to see:
Garnacho (inverted 10), Antony (LWB), Maguire (who has looked decent in a 5 before but this line will be surely too high for him)
I don't see Zirkzee as a loser, in fact he used to do well the same "10" role while in Italy, he didn't play as pure striker there all the time and Italy has been having a ton of experimental systems too with the most recent generation of coaches.
Agree with you we lack a lot in order to apply this shape something will have to give.
Nice sporting video, do one of United next
He is talking about Amorim's strategies... you know?... Sporting's coach? Spooor-tiiing coach... get it?
Great content Adam!
But please, change the fonts/background colors you are using: the names of the players are not readable being white letters on light green background.
FourFourTwo white on pink behind you - not readable. FourFourTwo in white again on light green background at the bottom of the screen - not readable.
Just use the fonts and background that have enough contrast, like you have at the beginning of your video - red letters on clean white background.
Cheers
Excited to see how Højlund will do when he has a manager telling the other players to give him the ball
This guy reminds me of that random freak you’d end up with after taking to much speed at a house party
Hojlund be kicking of excitement rn
I love these videos.
people keep describing his tactic.
You’re super talented
Great breakdown just hope he can work with Ajax’s old squad
As a united fan I’m worried about what you said with the low block. Some teams in the prem will just sit back so I don’t know how they will get the space to get in behind. Unless he is able to adapt the system to play around the edge of the opposition box to create space I see that being a big issue
Ok, great video, thanks
But what about how high are his offensive / defensive line?
Did Sporting like to press opposition / try to get back ball immediately after losing possesion?
I have a sudden urge to watch Portuguese football
It's absolutely mad to me just how good he is at this. I was used to watching him review Monday night raw 6 years ago
As long as Amorim does not get United relegated this season, I'm all in. It is mid-season, you can't expect much. Him coming in mid-season is already good enough.
Not the Manager we want- but the Head Coach we NEED!
Venha Amorim! Go United!!!
Excited for the Antonissance©
