素晴らしい車を作ってくれてありがとう!このビデオを見つけて楽しんでくれてうれしいです。
Literally sat here thinking “I hope he sees this”.
Icing on the cake.
Phenomenal work lads.
Incredible! The Irish impress me once again. Hope to see this car in person someday! Crazy to think how many kits have probably been on that car hahaha hopefully this is the last 🤣💚
Love you Jimmy boy 💚🤍🧡
I think you passed it at the lz festival man!
Jimmy's planning a birthday or some sort of excuse to celebrate something in Ireland 🇮🇪 so he can get every twin cam out 😋🤣🤙💯
You'll have to get a drive of this thing someday when you are back!
You see how it's done jimmy mein😂😂😂,take that k24 out
I think I can safely say all of us Irish lads with a Jap car or two all aspire to have a wedding day like this in the future. Paddy is some man, fair play to him and his mates for bringing back such an iconic car. The quality of craftsmanship put back into the car is absolutely amazing. A credit to him and all those who helped him. Probably a bit late now but congratulations Paddy 🍻 Another work of art Neil. You never let us down on quality content 🙌🏻 Merry Christmas lad 🍻
There is something so uniquely Irish about this whole video. The Irish attitude of “Ah sure we’ll give it ago”, the farm yard workshops, twin cams at crossroads, a church wedding, the auld lad that comes over to talk about the cars. When you feel like this country is gone to s**t, it’s things like this that make you feel proud to be Irish.
Hahaha its the little things
I hope anyone in Ireland that can help Neil in any way with his ae86 build comes together and lend a hand to help him create his dream car. These videos show the world how great the car culture community is and helping Neil who creates some of the best underrated content on RUclips to achieve his dream build would be something I'm sure plenty of people could spare some time/skills to help. Merry Christmas to the whole shed boys 👍
Amen to this 🙌
Cheers, Ben! Hopefully 2023 is the year the 86 is on the road
I'm not even joking the end brought a tear to my eye, his friends literally did gods work, and that turn out. you boys are living the fucking dream!
Such an epic story, delighted I could be apart of it and share it with others
When the yellow car came out I genuinely could not keep the smile off of my face!!
Well done to all involved you are the stuff of legends!!!!
37 minutes of Juicebox, happy Christmas! 🤙🤙
I can't even imagine Paddy is living a dream! Owning two of the coolest 86s to ever exist and getting to enjoy them along side with his bride on their special day. The even more mind blowing part to me is that Neil got to record this for us to enjoy but it's crazy to think camera or no camera this is exactly how the boys would have had it for Paddy! Absolutely incredible
Im very thankful the lads asked me to document it
Yuasa's car was always such an inspiration to my friends and I when we were first getting into drifting. I love seeing this car back in shape.
Even though I may never own one I honestly love Ireland's fascination with the 86 in all it's different faces, be it Irish spec, Japanese spec or as mad as the Yuasa's car
Congrats to Paddy and his missus on their wedding, and to all the boys for getting the car done in time. Can't help but feel a bit emotional about it, because that's the stuff of legend right there.
Such a great story, delighted I could document it and share with others
Nice to see you and your brother hanging out on the vids, not to many older fellas would appreciate their considerably younger brother wanting to be involved. Car scene does that, 1 and all.
Funny you say you're jealous but happy of Paddy's 86s, you own the juicebox 86 a very well documented car 👌you should be proud sticking at it you've done the car justice
Hopefully, we can finish it this year ❤
Neil, one of your best videos to date. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face the entire time. I remember that car growing up, and it warms me so much to see it back together in some form. So glad these cars are finally being treated with such respect that I always thought they deserved. I know it's been awhile since this has been filmed, but congrats to your lad on the wedding, and thank you again for making this video.
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm very grateful the lads asked me to tag along and share the story with others.
Neil, this is just beautiful on so many levels. Everything in this video, especially the few minutes from 28:40 onwards, just somehow creates such a strange, happy, almost want to cry type of feeling. What an incredible achievement and story. Congratulations to Paddy. Having to take the car back to base was just the cherry on top. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I really appreciate the kind words, I'm honoured the lads asked me along to document his special day
You Irish lads truly love your ae86s and other 80s and 90s jdm cats. Keep up the good work reviving old historical jdm race cars.
imo one of the best looking ae86s ever
thinking about how you guys are (almost) single handedly keeping the AE86 alive is amazing
Neil thank you so much! 10 years away from the homeland but you never fail to take me back to the comradery and love we have for piles of rust😁 Wish this man the happiest times and who knows maybe his son or daughter might do the same drive in that car someday! Happy Christmas!
Am I the only one who had tears in my eyes watching this? Unreal, this is why the Irish car scene will last long into the future. I bought my first 86 in 2001 and owned various different cams over the next few years. They got out of reach then when the values went up and I've not been able to get another one, but I'd love to own another one before end up back in the ground
Absolutely unbelievable that he went to such lengths to save this car. True passion and commitment, money no object.
In the context of a Video Option DVD these cars are hard to understand, but on a normal country road they look utterly insane and extremely cool. It looks jaw-dropping on the road. So happy for the guy to get married in it, and to have such an awesome wedding convoy.
So proud to be Irish! Fantastic stuff !
This video brought a fucking tear to my eye. It’s the perfect Irish story, as you lot mentioned in the video. But seeing that end result really makes you realize how awesome the 86 Community really is. Congratulations to Paddy and all of my best wishes for the future! Amazing work Neil, as always ❤🔥
... Brilliant 😎. I had a UK spec AE86 Coupe GT, face-lift model (D reg)silver over gunmetal, that got damaged. Ended up going over to Northern Ireland !. Also put a Note on a windscreen of a local AE86, on behalf of an Irish chap, who brought it,came all the way over from Northern Ireland, here to North Devon!.
I'm so glad there are people out there with the drive, passion and skills to save things like this. Thank you so much lads, it's a great thing you've done!
happy to be along for the ride! Glad you enjoyed the video
Even after a year this is still one of the coolest things!! I'd so love to see this car in person
Absolutely in love with the story, that has to be one of the coolest ones ever! This is absolutely insane!
The only thing I would have done differently is keeping as much as the original paint..like the Spoiler and the fuel flap, so it really shows its original heritage with a bunch of cool Patina.
Nonetheless, this is damn cool to look at
When the yellow 86 pulled out into the procession it gave me chills.
What a moment!
it feels sooo good knowing there are people out there that care for this chassis as much as i do. i luv my hachi.
also wth does that yellow hachi have?
This is what real passion for something looks like . If your ever getting fed up of a project etc . Watching something like this should get you fired up!
Class episode for Christmas, and the green "white" and gold on the side of the car is very appropriate 🇮🇪
A Christmas miracle Neil ! The lads are legends. 86 out of 10 for the video. So much better than Mrs browns boys Christmas special 😘
I can not wait to see Jimmy Oakes' ae86 all done rolling on a set of demon camber wheels, or worksmeister, or ssr dori mesh.
Everytime i watch these videos, i get so excited and crazy jealous over you guys getting these amazing pieces of jdm history. Its so hard and expensive to get into old jdm cars like this beautiful bride 86. Thats why i will never ever let go of my Z31, no matter how crappy and rusty she is. You guys really are living the dream over there. Cheers.
Oh my goddd this is by far one of the best juicebox and even car video out it is very heartwarming to see that a conversation can turn into such reality I am inspired by this well done paddy and Neil for showing us this magnificent content which will go down in history!
Cheers!
This was one of my dream cars growing up, along with the te27,te31, te72, and other old school Toyota cars and Nissan cars, and BMW cars.
Got chills watching this. THE Nostalgia is REAL
Cheers!
The amount of craftsmanship here in Ireland makes me so proud, what a job lads!
Is someone cutting onions? Amazing story and brilliantly documented, thanks Neil 🙏🏻
Jesus! Yuasa lives again! Nice Job!
Nothing like a juice box Christmas Day love you guys 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Always great to bring back a dead legend back into the new world so it could never be forgotten
Smiling from ear to ear with joy for 37 minutes!
I’m in awe at the Irish view cars, they’re more than just a machine to get from A to B, more than some bits of metal stuck together. It’s a passion, it’s not only how it drives, how it looks but more about how it makes you feel. If only the whole UK car scene had the same outlook…
Once again another great video, I felt properly immersed for the last 37mins!
Thanks Neil 👏🏼🤙🏼
Always appreciated cheers!
Love the video and shooting style! And of course the history behind cars people love! So many comments here of people celebrating past and present car builders. Plucky, resilient and charming describes the 86 so well and also Ireland "to a T!". I'm glad I married my Irish gal and she wanted to live here.
Oh and Niel, I still have the Suzuki Cappuccino you were considering buying just before lockdown. Lol, all Ive done is build the shed to build it in, collect many Cappo bits, pick up a plasma cutter, welding supplies and an English Wheel... it'll happen, but probably in years rather than these mad lads' 7 months!
I know the feeling! Glad you still have it
There's nothing more inspiring than these videos for me to get my car to the speck I desire. Thanks for recording the journey of that Incredible piece of history on wheels
Perfect example why i love Neil’s videos
Lovely video as usual Neil, you’ve opened my eyes as to how fuckin brilliant Ireland is. -Sincerely
A random Welsh lady🏴
Your documentation of the culture is impeccable
- 29:04 was the perfect moment, when the yellow nose poked out the driveway
Someone started cutting onions in my gaff when that happened.
Amazing!! What a fucking cool story! That nostalgic music got me….
Paddy is an actual legend for taking this mammoth task on 🤘
I think this has relight my love for the 86. I never knew how much I've missed this
Seeing those 3 cars together... Art in motion my guy, art in motion 🥰
A moment ill take to the grave
I'm not crying, you are!
Had to come and watch this after that masterpiece you just released. Thank you boys!
One of my favorite D1 cars of all time. That, the hks altezza and tezuka's jzx81
I'm so glad you got the shot of Adrian jumping in, absolutely legendary moment. So glad I watched this seated, so many moments where I would have fallen in just awe. So good. Thanks Neil for sharing this will all of us nerds, Unreal to think soon enough yours will be in that pack. I'm not ready!
Cheers Corey!
The Irish 86 community is truly one of a kind. Absolutely awesome. Yuasas 86 looks completely hilarious in the parking spot 😂😂 Congrats on the wedding, too 😊
It looks like it shouldn't belong anywhere on an Irish road! But that's what I loved about seeing it on the wedding day
This is fucking unreal, unmatched content. You know some seriously fucking cool people dude, and you too. This is amazing. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! I was honoured to be invited along to document this
What a great story. Cheers on the marriage.
I can happily say... that is one of the most beautiful of cars I've ever seen
I nearly bloody cried over some Japanese 90's shit boxes driving around in convoy. This is the power of cars
i remember seeing an article on speedhunters about this exact car and couldn't believe that it got restored to such degree. wonderful build, wonderful story, wonderful video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Its such a great story.
I remember that car from the D1 crash kings :D it lost so many bumpers
It really makes me think what other old iconic drift cars are out there sitting in a field. Your videos m8 can definitely show that one person can build a car that can influence a whole new generation and one chosen to take care and restore one's creation.
I think this is my favourite video you’ve ever done Neil!!
The story of the cars alongside the story of the wedding just sits together so perfectly.
As you’d say, Deadly 👌🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the story
Hope you lads all had a good Christmas, not sure how I slept in this one yesterday, this was a awesome story
The wedding part is so wholesome. You sir are a good person
Incredible car! Incredible story! Incredible video! Such beautiful cars, absolutely INCREDIBLE! 😂
What a dream come true man, i hope i can do the same thing because its literally my dream too. And the wholesome thing happen in this video just like make me wanna cry, what a good job man, what a good job 👏👏👏
Absolutely insane.
Savage car lads really like this colour on this 86 wing looks class as well good to no this is in Ireland 🇮🇪
that's amazing to even say the least!! some group of lads to get this done!! beautiful just beautiful!!
Wow, no need words! 😮
Santa came late but none the less he delivered thanks Neil
I remember seeing this car being featured frequently in the D1 Crash Kings video. The announcers would always laugh when Yuasa ripped parts of the body kit off(as evidenced in this video).
Yeah this thing was burned into our brains from the early days, so glad this car has been reborn
I don't think anyone loves the JDM scene more than the Irish, the rest of the world can learn a lot from Ireland and their love of cars such an awesome journey :).
So awesome. I remember this car in it’s early Irish competing life and thought it was so wild. I was still used to seeing fairly conventionally modded 86 at the time then saw this in person and it blew my mind. So great to see it reborn and in the OG D1 style too, awesome work
PS. if it's of interest to you or Paddy for history/records from the car, I just found a few photos I took of it in the Hunky Dorys livery in 2007. Not amazing photos by any means, but happy to send them over. Let me know if you want them and where best to send them to :)
@@HomeOfTone Send them on if you have the chance on Facebook, cheers!
Unbelievable video 🇮🇪 👌 🇯🇵
The irish traffic light of ae86s was so cool red, yellow, green, all with their own style and aura lord that was such a cool video, thanks for sharing :)
Absolutely deadly Neil!!! Can’t beat Irish car culture! Just shows what a few mates can put together 💚
Knocking out some of the best car content in the world right now, absolute top level stuff
Always appreciated cheers
From the age of 12 I’ve followed this car from option videos to browsing on the net such a icon to the drift seen and Bihoku 💙
Based on your videos, you come across as a really humble bloke. I do hope you're really proud of the good you put out into the world with your content, though. You have a real talent for documenting the best human elements of car culture.
Cheers for the kind words 🍻
Absolutely beautiful car
Fuckin class lads. Brought a tear to my eyes.
Great content again Neil thanks for the hard effort and time you and all the lads put into this 👍🏻
Glorious
Perfectly beautiful little story for Xmas 😍🎉🥳👏👏🥳🎉
Cool as f……. Seeing them on the road to the wedding, Next year you do a juicebox car meet convoy 👌👍😎😁👍
Haha I met the lad with the dreads when catching the ferry back with his new starlet back in November 😂
He’s a character!
Rings Lads at the end 😊
Unreal as per usual Neil, Juicebox has well and truly shown the world what Ireland and its car scene is capable of yet again
Brilliant coverage my dude. Much love. 🤘🔥😎🔥🤘
What a fucking legendary journey for a legendary car! 🤘
amazing...congrats on newly weds. ANd thanks for documenting.
Brilliant episode and it will be an irish legend . Imagine the og Japanese oq driver seeing the car now , didn't he give him his old d1 licence ?
He did, indeed!
Wholesome
Great story, fantastic finish on the cars
Honestly one of the most infamous cars in the country and it's great to see it back in proper shape ❤
Such a cool car, it's a credit to the lads. Love it
