omg! The tenacity you show when an issue arises is just inspiring. Continuing to show the bad, the good, the ugly is important for us who might want to tackle a project like this ourselves.
I love this dresser! The color is gorgeous! I also really like those pulls. They seem to really suit the style of this piece. I’m usually not a big fan of “aged” brass (I want to get the BrassO out and polish to a shine), but it feels like the correct classic choice for this one. You amaze me with your ability to turn a filthy spider baby home into a beautiful, functional, useable piece of furniture. Did you line the drawers? I’ll go back and look.🌸
Wow! I love the color and and the knobs, which are simple and compliment the piece well. It must be so rewarding to know that you saved a treasure headed for the landfill. Especially one with a solid wood top.
This one turned out soooo cute! It looks so polished but not overstated so I am not surprised that you are thinking about letting it take up some space in your dining room, it looks so good there. I actually LOVE the knobs, so I wouldn't change them but I would be interested where you land on the hardware :)
That sad little dresser looks bright and happy in the color Celtic Fog! I like the simple little round brass pulls on the drawers! The finished product is definitely a keeper if you don't want to sell it. You put a LOT of work into this one!!! ❤
Beautiful! I really admire your attention to detail. The way you clean each piece and patch up or fill up all the tiny gaps to make each piece look like it's brand new is remarkable.
It's a great dresser re-do. The colour is fresh. The knobs actually go very well with the curves lines. Modern but respectful of some hints to past styles. I wouldn't change them at all. WOW, what a energy-draining primer experience. Good to know about that new product. Thanks again for your careful and clear explanations.
That color is beyond gorgeous. I did say to myself , “Katie, the knobs don’t quite fit the vibe.” But your ability to be patient and work through the issues and keep treasures out of the landfill should be a lesson to all.
Katie, I can feel a different energy from you and your videos after the conference you visited in Texas. Is nice to see you more in the videos, you are amazing and what you do as well. Whatever you feel changed after that conference , or did to you, maybe new knowledge or just changing routine for a few days, make sure you do it once in a while , cause definitely we can see that renovated energy in you videos and work in general. THANK YOU for sharing what you love!
Loved the color and the staging - it fit perfectly with that painting and the height of the trim! AND I actually agree with you on the knobs! From the front they look nice, but from the side it feels like they could be more delicate to pair better with the delicate lines of the dresser. Maybe some small and simple teardrop pull handles?
I actually really love the knobs - but I think a matte black pull of sorts could also look nice. You’re so good at what you do Katie, and I love that you take pieces destined for the landfill and fix them up. It’s my favorite ❤
you are amazing with tackling all the issues with this project. i think the knobs are great and the dresser turned out to be a stunner. once again. .. nice job!
Yeah a K Scott Video ❤ your talent never ceases to amaze me! Love your attention to detail and tenacity when a piece becomes challenging. Thank you saving this dresser from the landfill - I do like the knobs! 😊
Hey Katie - love how you don’t turn your nose up at something in bad shape and ordinary - you do amazing work! And it all makes a difference - inspiring approach. Thanks ;)
I love that colour green! I think the knobs go well with the dresser, but if you want to change them, maybe go for something that mimics the grooves on the front.
It's beautiful, Katie! Pretty sweet that the older style of the trim looks modern after paint and new hardware. Just goes to show that you don't always have to reinvent the entire piece!
Love the color. I think the knobs are too small but I like the color/finish. It turned out great. Unbelievable refinish job yet again. Now we expect it Love how you show us all the steps you go through. You’re giving me confidence to refinish my own furniture
WOW WOW Katie WOW! Celtic Fog - THIS is the shade I've been trying to find everywhere. It's gorgeous. And you have done a fab job restoring this beauty. Kudos to you! MQH
Oh wow! I love that! If you're not happy with the knobs, maybe use some slightly larger, flat gold knobs? That green is gorgeous, and you've managed to maintain a traditional vibe, just updated and happy now. And you've saved a nice piece of wood furniture from the landfill!
This sweet looking dresser gave you some difficulty but you struggle on n I’m so glad you did. It turned out so pretty. I too like the smoky green. Yes, I have to agree on the knobs or handles. I think it needs more of a pop to the piece. Katie, your really good at what you do. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟🌟
It turned out so pretty. I love the soft green. I also like the curved apron on the front of the dresser. I know a lot of refinishers, including myself, sometimes remove this and make a new base that is more straight, which works for some pieces. I'm glad you left this one, though. The knobs look nice because there is a lot of movement on this dresser front, and they are simple, which works for this piece. 🥰
I absolutely adore the way the dresser turned out. I love the color. It took an awful lot of work, but boy is it beautiful I know I like the knobs one of the prettiest pieces I’ve seen you do.
I love it, knobs and all. This is my favorite kind of makeover to watch. Something that is dirty and falling apart and you turn it into a swan…and make it look effortless!
Hi Katie, Awwwww I absolutely love it!! Wow you done a fantastic job. Love the color “my favorite” green is just so classy I think. As always job well done and I think I like the knobs, yeah I do! God Bless sweet girl ❤
It's beautiful! I love the knobs. I really appreciate all the details you give in your videos, telling us what and WHY you are doing various things and the fails along with the successes. Great instructions. I'm a fan. Thank you.
Gorgeous color! Your persistence definitely paid off! I like the knobs! I think they are really sweet and charming looking! The gold/brass with the soft vintagey green is stunning!
Katie, j’attends chacune de tes vidéos avec impatience. J’y trouve chaque fois des tips que je te remercie de nous partager. Personnellement, je trouve ces boutons parfaiassortis au meuble et j’adore ce joli gris vert.
Great job as always! I am a big fan of the knobs! Also have a video idea! It sure would be fun for you to update your garage to make it more you. Paint, baseboards, maybe some new flooring, organization etc... You spend so much time in there, I'd love to see more of your beautiful personality and good taste. ;)
What a transformation. That piece was headed for the junk pile, filthy and in pretty rough shape. You saved it from becoming another pile of broken wood. The color you chose was beautiful and I really like the knobs. The dresser has a lot of detail so the understated knobs are a good choice. I’ve never seen bleed through happen like that. Thanks for the information on what to do in a case like that. Overall, that dresser will live on as a treasured piece of furniture in either your home or someone else’s home. Great job!
omg! The tenacity you show when an issue arises is just inspiring. Continuing to show the bad, the good, the ugly is important for us who might want to tackle a project like this ourselves.

It's amazing what people don't see in unwanted furniture isn't it.
So cute and classic!! ❤❤❤No one would have ever guessed it was in the trash 🥰

I LOVE the knobs Katie. They're round and reflect the rounded curves on the front of the piece. This turned out beautifully!!!
