Love, love, love! I would absolutely put this table in my entry way as a focal piece. I appreciate a truly monochrome piece like that and was happy to see you carry it through with the drawer pulls.
Hey Katie, just wanted to let you know that my mother (she loved colour) painted her kitchen table this colour forty years ago! I still have the table in the original 'apple green' and I still love it!
I can see this in any home. Great hallway piece. How great would it look in a farmhouse 🤗 The small town i grew up in, all the houses that were built in the 1940's had little iron fences around them all painted in this green. Brings back fond memories. Thanks Katie, can we have some more please😁💕
Bold color is everything!! I've always loved punches of color, whether it's a beautiful piece of artwork, a piece of furniture or a bouquet of flowers. It creates such a great vibe in any space. LOVE THIS!
Another great makeover by Katie Scott! I am not a bright color, fan myself, but I have to say this is absolutely beautiful! What a bright, cheerful piece of furniture to greet you when you come in the door. Great choice Katie. Take care, stay safe.
I’m finally recognizing how great a photographer you are! Excellent! I’ve known for quite a while about your carpentry/repair/design skills, but it’s your photography that makes all that readily available to us! Bravo. It’s now a fine and useful and unobtrusive table to fit many needs. PS: it won’t sell for $1000 or make you world famous, but I’d be delighted if I had skills to bring out its value & usefulness, as you have done! 🎉
I like real wood finishes on major furniture pieces that I keep for years. Then I love pops of color on fun pieces that get moved around and used for different purposes over time. I would not have this style in its original finish but absolutely love it with the color. Creates interest in a space, especially if you are lucky enough to have high ceilings. Nature colors make it very versatile.
So cute! While bright colors are not my style, I can certainly appreciate them and how they really brighten up a space. Just looking at that table makes me grin. That's a great thing! I especially love that you gave this former tired & worn piece a whole new life. No landfill for this cutie of a table!!!
Love how the table turned out! I went from decorating with pastels when I was younger to embracing bold colours as an empty nester. I painted a display cabinet in cobalt blue and have decoupaged a few pieces with bold prints and really enjoy the change!
I've got a tip for you! To get rid of a water mark on wood furniture place a paper bag on top of the water stain and take a hot clothes iron and gently iron over the paper for a minute or three and the water mark will disappear 😍 Works on antiques and is an old carpenter truck! Try it and see Thanks for the great videos
Green is a favorite color and have various shades in my decor. Don't lean that bright but can see where that would appeal to someone. Appreciate that you opted for monochromatic and didn't go too wild by combining a variety of bright colors on the one piece as might be seen in a child's room. Still says 'fun' for any age.
Absolutely would buy this!! I have mostly painted pieces throughout my apartment. They range from yellows, greens, turquoise, blues...(painted by me!) That green suits the little table perfectly 🥰
Katie, the green does pop . Your descriptions of exactly how you do it, and the list of materials you use makes your videos unique . Feel like I am standing in your garage with you . I thought in one of your videos you said you were no longer doing these, but -- don't you dare! Bill
I love it! The green is not too 'loud' yet it gives just the right amount of 'pop' to any room. I would definitely choose this shade of green for a fun piece! Great job on all your videos!
Thank you for making this piece of furniture BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I would love to have this table in my house. Thank you for all that you do! You and your work are so admired and appreciated!
Love it! Would add it to my entry in a NY second. Thanks for always explaining the reason behind the various products and processes you use, it helps our projects turn out better.
Beautiful results! Thanks for showing us how a pop of colour can turn a piece of furniture into a sensation! Your videos are such fun to watch and very informative for those of us who want to try your techniques!
Absolutely love the color on the table! I would definitely use it in my decor. I hope you do more. I didn’t know you had a dog. Would love to see more of your fur baby!
I have an unheated breezeway room between the garage and house, we use this back entry constantly plus close friends and family. This table would look great in there up against the brick wall. Fresh and fun! Great spot for plants in the warmth months.
Fresh, fun and lovely! I think you just showed me the color I want to paint my daughters’ screen door! Both of them have been unable to choose a color. Now, surprise! I hope they’ll be shocked and love it..or…they can paint again! It’s over 100 years old and has been a thorn in my side, since I said I’d do it!
When I was younger, I had a lot of bold colors on my furniture and l loved the energy. With age, I’ve become a fellow Neutral Nelly. I love pops of color in decor because they are easily changed with seasons or when the mood strikes without having to move a piece of furniture out of the room. Thank you for thoroughly explaining repairs on your videos. I used to be hesitant about taking on a piece needing a repair but you give me that bit of encouragement to take those pieces on.
WOW!! I loved the buffet on casters that you painted in yellow, but I absolutely love love love this piece in Green, which is my go to color!!!! and such an improvement over the Orange of the original finish
This is a perfect size and shape to add to a neutral room for some color. If you get tired of this color, it’s easy to lightly sand, re-prime and choose a different color. I’d probably remove the frilly parts and let the legs carry the style. Thanks for posting another brilliant vid!

Hi Katie, always love every thing you do. This one though is close to my heart as I did the exact colour on the exact table for a funky bright look. Everyone loved it. I did eventually sell it when I sold my property. Looking forward to 2023 projects.
