I used ForScan Lite, reset my transmission on 2013 Ford Fusion. Works perfectly.
The Table clearing on harsh shifting indeed does work, I did it today. I had hard shifts on my 2019 between 7&8 and would lose power between 2 & 3 on occasion. The reset has fixed it!

Nice video. Like you I own a 2018 Raptor. I could not get the auto fold mirrors or change turn signal flash number to work without me having to go in and physically changing the codes in the “as built” table. I was hoping I could get by with the easier method. Overall glad it’s working. Thanks
A couple of years ago I used ForScan to activate my Sat Nav... which the dealer said would cost over £1,000. It took me around 7 minutes as I was ultra careful, taking a photo of every screen in case I had to revert to previous settings. A dealership would have done it in 2 minutes, it's one line of code, and as I said, charge you over £1,000.

This is amazing. Why didn't I know about this sooner! My dealer has me over a barrel to flip my backup camera display and fix hard shifting. This would be cheaper and much better to take control of your own vehicle.

I have a 2014 mondeo with a powershift gearbox that wouldn't go in reverse. Ford garage said gearbox is broke. Used the transmission relearn thing and now it works fine.

The whole reason I got ForScan was to clear the transmission history. I have to clear it about every oil change. Totally worth it.

Was my comment about FORScan on your last transmission video the motivation for this video (patting myself on the back)? I had previous success with FORScan resetting my tables but the rough shift returned months later. I just took my F150 in to the dealer to get the latest reprogram which makes shifting 90% better, I hope this is a permanent fix. I did use FORScan to do the folding mirrors and a few other tweaks like showing the actual transmission temp on the instrument cluster. Love you channel, and great video.

I ordered a cable for my '19 ranger. If I can just disable the double honk I figure it's worth the money. Probably won't change much else.
I'd like to try it on a Maverick Tremor, eco and sport modes.
The DTC codes that show up are always there when the ignition is on but the vehicle isn't running. Ignore them.

Will Forscan work on a Zeus? Mine is an XP version, and I do have the standard ODB2 cable (since the Snapon dongle wont work for some reason)
I know Ive installed a bunch of other things on it, since it is a PC at the end of the day. Im only interested in older Fords, like Panther cars, maybe the odd early 00s Mustang, etc.

Tried to enable global window and lost remote start from app and key fob…. It’s on a 2022 tremor any suggestions?
not sure what happened but this does not work for me, I set to disable and press write and still nothing, when I cicle on and off 2 times it just does not work, any help would be great.

FYI, it helps to use an electronic parts cleaner on the OBDll to ensure a good contact.
can I use this to change the door code so the ECU can register that it's attached and the ECU can look for it instead of looking for the old door? my old loom was destroyed
The Forscan Lite does not do configuration. You have to use the computer with wired connection.
I was able to reset the adaptive transmission on my Lincoln MKZ, which was shifting harshly, and now it's back to normal
Do you know any software like you have work with GMC Sierra? such as OBD and changing and hacking things like you did in your truck

My 2017 Raptor is doing that hard shift thing.
Mine is still under extended warranty so when I take it in next to ask about fixing the tear in the driver's seat I'll hit them up about the transmission. My seat has a hole on the front left corner where the plastic molding pushes into the leather when you sit in the seat, and the stitching is coming undone in the same place. I expect to get pushback.
I am getting it ready to sale. Going to give the TRX a try. Cant be any worse than the Raptor. New motor at 20k, sunroof at 23k, new rear end at 40k. I actually thought the trans was about to die until I saw your videos. This truck has been a pain.

Forscan is free.... The hardware interface used to communicate between PC and vehicle will cost a few bucks, but the software is still free, including the extended license. Cheers 🍻

There is a grid view page where you can monitor performance of individual of each cylinder in real time.

Yep. You don’t really install forscan like you do Cobb. It’s just a tool to change settings
I want to wipe logs for transmission on my 2018 Raptor with Ecoboost (getting hard shift now that I crossed 30k miles). I don’t have a windows PC (only Apple iOS PC and phones) and I don’t want to spend $1000+ on Cobb. Do you know if Forscan Lite version for iOS would allow me to wipe transmission logs? Seems that might be configuration/programming that can only be done on Windows PC. Honestly considering buying a cheap/used Windows laptop. Is that a windows tablet in the video?
You can’t get the lite iOS version right now so your best bet is probably a cheap windows machine. I borrowed the wife’s surface tablet and it worked just fine
I would like to think that the best way to clear transmission or other computer issues is to just reset the computer...
Step 1: Remove battery cables from battery, cover battery negative terminal with cloth so not to short out anything accidentally.
Step 2: Attach a jumper wire from the positive cable to the negative cable and let set for about 10 minutes (this drains all capacitors to fully reset computer).
Step 3: Remove jumper wire, reconnect battery.
Step 4: Turn the ignition on (don't start) and wait about 10-15 seconds.
Step 5: Start engine and let idle for approximately 10-15 minutes.
Step 6: Start driving around normally for about 15-20 minutes (no harsh driving) so the computer will start it's learning process for shifting idling fuel trims etc.. After a couple days or so of driving at temps of at least 185 degrees (engine temp) the computer will learn your shifting habits. I did this with my Expedition as I was having all kinds of computer problems and this trick fixed everything and my truck is now running better than it has in a long time. Hope this helps you or anyone else having computer problems.

Could I use this to change the temperature at which the heat and heated seats turn on? Currently my Lincoln MKZ turns on AC seats when it’s 50 degrees outside

You can turn up the temperature on the steering wheel and seats I think

Factory I would guess. It changes settings in the ford computer
Is there any way that ForScan can do a manual regeneration in a 2010 Ford F350 6.4 diesel? There are not many modules that show up after I activate the software. Nothing shows up in the Service key as well. Any body have a solution?
Not sure on 2010, but I was able too on my 2016 F450.
hello very good video, I ask you a question I bought a ford maverick lariat and it does not have global closing and opening of windows, when I do it with the forscan in the module giving enable both open and close it does not work, but I have the option to modify as built option , but how do you know what options and values to enter so that it opens and closes the windows?
I have a Lariat as well and am wondering that as well. I don't have forscan yet.
All windows must have factory one touch open/close function for the global open/close to work. If youre looking for the codes in the Asbuilt BdyCm I found a few posts, I do not have a Lariat so I cannot test but one of these should work.

For the shifting on the 10 speed. Mine was shifting a bit hard when I bought it (2 months ago at 38k miles). I reset the tcm tables and the shifting is now perfect. Not sure how long that will last though.
I did same. Shifts like butter after. It does come back after 5K miles or so but easy enough to just clear
I’ve heard you can just turn off the adaptive learning all together, then won’t ever have that problem

I was going to say the same thing.. The modules (as built) are the module settings when the vehicle left the factory. If you change something and end up needing to do a "factory reset", well it's better to have them than having to get the dealership redownloading them for you. If it's your wife, Ford might convince her that a new computer is needed

Actually you can do that through Bdycm Go to there without as built option
Then go to double hung after leaving cabin or something like that and change it to disable

You don't need Forscan to shut off the seat belt chime. There is a series of tricks you got to do to turn it off. You can find videos on it on RUclips.

Microsoft surface, but pretty much anything with windows and a usb port should work
K also another way to make it happen is for someone to use a vpn when using whatever form of electronic phn or laptop etc. then those restrictions ahem um…. Get lifted. Just sayin.
Can the FORscan find your touch panel door code, or is that still going to have to be the OEM tool at the stealer-ship?
If you have both keys to your truck there is a method to get it at least for 2021 and newer. I had to do it since the previous owner kept the owners manual with the key code card.
DDM =Driver Door Module
PDM = Passenger Door Module
ACM= Audio Controll Module
and so on...
Well, I'm all out of luck on both fronts. But hey, I have the option to buy Forscan!

i sure would like to use forscan but even if you decide to trust these russian software developers, it is hard for me to understand why they need your hard drive id and you have to be connected to the internet at activation time. instead of them just generating a key that meets a checksum that could be emailed without having a direct internet connection to their site.

Late reply, but for the benefit of others... I never could get past the invitation code when trying to use the 2 month free subscription. When I paid for the 1 year license, I got an email with the code as well as a code to join the forums.

Real basic video, however if anyone is going to do changes to their vehicle , i suggest not to follow what he is doing, do a in in depth research in what your doing first . he clearly has 0 to no experience with forscan . Writing wrong values to any modules can be harmful and could brick the module. Always save your module data prior to writing.
Your battery is below the 12.5 volt threshold that's needed. Low voltage can really mess things up. Rather than making silly opening scenes, be serious, and tell people they need at least a battery maintainer to hand.
