The modders and custom content creators are the lifeblood of this whole game -- some nice stuff in here! And yes, it's good to see some people providing stuff that we really should have had from the Sims team, such as the plain glass coffee table, or those new color options for beds and clothing. I'm holding off on downloading any CC for the moment, but once Realm of Magic comes out and a bunch of stuff gets updated. . .well. (And yes, I know that doesn't typically apply to clothes and the like, but I figure, if I'm gonna do it, I might as well do it in one go.)

My favourite Maxis match cc is the Pufferhead stuff pack. I can appreciate some non-Maxis match cc, but usually in clothing items it just looks too weird. That's why it's great you're showing Maxis-match ones! And while I always like a good re-swatch of some iconic items, I must say I was really impressed with the men's clothing in the collab, especially the trousers look very much like contemporary men's clothing you will see here in Europe. And I can just imagine putting one of those half tucked in shirts on a teenage Sim.
I also definitely need those L-shaped couches and that TV stand!
Peacemaker has the *best* cc furniture I’ve EVER seen and I’m *super* picky about cc furniture. I literally have every single piece of his furniture in my game. I can’t play without it!
I LOVE Double Plumbob! I have an amazing recolor of the Parenthood kitchen counter and island that has a beautiful wood top instead of the laminate!
I love me some good Maxis match CC... it was a paaaaain updating / refinding a lot of bits after Seasons and Cats & Dogs, but I can't really foresee any other pack they could create that would require such an overhaul, thank goodness! lol
You have me wanted to look now, but I know someone had created a true L-shaped or sectional sofa. If I remember correctly you had to use moveobjects to place the bits (of course), but all of the seats were usable and nothing was phantom (like 13:17 and 13:27).
I appreciate the CC community so much! The things they create are just lovely, and when they take apart some of the game bits to make them more versatile and usable - *sigh * I could just squeeze hug them, seriously!

LOL at the invisibility cloak! Calling it that is WAY easier than tracking down the broken CC... I literally downloaded all of the this stuff earlier this week! Busted Pixels also has done an amazing job recreating a lot of Sims 3 outfits - so many of my old favorites!

Nobody mentioned that it actually states in the description section on the Web page download for the L-shaped couches, that they are a bit 'buggy'... so a little nervous to use it in my game... 🤔😒 i do wish that if people insist in making Cc for this game..they could complete a job properly without adding more bugs to a game that already has enough bugs in it already...?
@@herberthendrick5608 The only bug with L shaped couches is how sims sit on it. they wont use the corner etc. Doessnt actually mess up your game
My favorite CC item is by Peacemaker, and it’s so simple. He has a great batch of curtains in like 25 swatches for every wall height and window size. It’s what I use 95% of the time.

Love this vid! I would love to see a let's play that we follow through the generations! We can watch the first Sims grow old and we can watch the babies that are born grow up. It can be done in seasons so when you are done playing the first generation you can take a break. And for the next season the next generation can be aged up and we can watch their careers and watch them start families, and we can watch the grandparents grow old now. And when you are tired of playing them just end the season and start a new season whenever you feel like it

I've been using all of Peacemaker's stuff for years and years. You should check out his add-on sets. He does extra pieces in the style of various Maxis pieces. Also lots of extra windows/doors etc. He also does these amazing neighborhood makeovers where he does new builds for the different worlds that are either no cc, unfurnished, or with his CC only. His Windenberg one is particularly gorgeous. I love putting the unfurnished ones in and furnishing them myself.
I’m not just saying this, but the deli x grimcookies collab is the best cc in my game. Every sim i play has an outfit from the set and none of the are the same 🤩

If you want any more heavy freckles, I really love and super recommend simsreaper's Shadowboxing freckles set! They're really heavy fabulous freckles that cover cheeks/collarbones/etc and still look nice with MM stuff.
I've been dying for couches we can put together and a bunch of different configurations! Kinda like that L shaped one but with even more options!!

I just got into cc two days ago for the first time ever and I've been endlessly scrolling through tumblr downloading things left and right. 😂 I am limiting myself to CAS only though (for now 😬), because if I start downloading furniture, I think I'm going to suffocate my laptop. Very afraid to go down that rabbit hole, as I tend to go a bit home decor crazy in real life too. 🤦♀️
Awesome video, Deli. I always appreciate new CC finds. Peacemaker is one of my favorite CC creators. Their stuff is beautiful and I love the fact that they create items that "finish" Maxis sets. And their living room sets are to die for! All the pieces are present and all of the colours match and everything. I know it's quite the concept. :0P I will definitely check out Illogical Sims.

I felt your CC haul today. I DL'd the Pufferhead pack, traits expansions, and some career rabbit holes. I find the fitness from EA lacking and threw some extra aspirations in too, especially for kids since I have so many in my world right now.

Easy fix to Maxis: Make an object: Clothing or build n buy. Make the swatches a rainbow (+ pink, black, white). Make a pastell version of the rainbow, a medium and a dark one. There u go, so many more swatches easilyer done! And then, at the bottom of the colorswatch page, add the pattern swatches for items with patterns. Its so easy, i dont understand why they cant make such an easy update.

I love how Deli's top match the couch on the thumbnail, very on brand. These look okay but I try not to use as much CC since we have a good number of packs now.

I am so glad you advise against adfly In the past unknowingly I ended up with programs on my computer that I did not install or give consent to be installed and the way adfly works you might accidentally click on something install of the download for the CC, I avoid adfly like the plague and I cannot believe people use it, in my mind I am like dude either make it accessible to all or get a patreon jeeze.
