bob marley not so sure about that. EA definitely doesn’t put enough money in it though, especially considering how much they make of the game
Folks like to rag about how they need CC to play the game, and yet Deli does make a lot of awesome base game builds. It should also be noted that Sims 4 is about the most mod and CC-friendly game out there, especially being published by a company notorious for its own rampant DLC content for all of its games. There are publishers, like Rockstar, that pretend they are fine with mods and yet they show otherwise to the extremes. EA and Maxis do have their faults, as all companies do, but they do actually put effort into a game they could have called finished a long time ago. People pushed for toddlers. Maxis did say toddlers would be very difficult to put in with the game as it was developed. What did Maxis do? Introduced toddlers in a free game pack. Swimming pools, diving platforms, occult sims, and so many other things have been incorporated into the game, each of which can be modded freely.
Mods are great. CC is great. But acting like the devs do nothing because mods are possible is frankly unfair and rather a sense of entitlement that people are better off without. Feel free to praise or critique base and custom content, but just outright mockery is immature and beneath anybody. Be better than that.

The counter that has the built-on stovetop, you can put the oven in that one. That's why he added that item. :-)
I was waiting for her to figure that out. I thought it was a great touch in the reveal video!
I thought that too. I was just waiting for her to realize that she could put the oven into the build in stove counter.
I just love it that CC creators think of every possibility, because they play the game and think like other players, so they know what players want to do with certain objects! I’m addicted to CC packs like these, because small additions (fe. oven in two parts, but usable as a regular oven too) like these make me feel like I have so much freedom when I’m building! (Also they’re either free or behind a 1-5$ patreon paywall, which is still a lot cheaper than a stuffpack and gives you access to God only knows how many other items...)
Oddly enough it won’t let me stack the oven and built-on stovetop together

Ikr? The appliances from this pack combined with the (working) fishtank counters make my most favourite kitchen ever. (Can’t remember who made those counters but I’ll gladly look them up if someone’s interested.)
Also separated bed frames with sheeting... totally functional and gives players endless possibilities... I believe BrazenLotus has even pieces that lets you replace/recolor the pillows or mattress that comes with the beddings and lets you put on decorative pillows, so you can 100% customoze your beds... When I first saw that I was mindblown and asked the same thing, why couldn’t Maxis do that and let us build our beds...?
I think they don’t do it because they focus on other stuff. Plus, cc content makers will make the stuff anyway so... That saves them money right?

This happens to me a lot when I'm looking for CC to install. It looks all alpha-y until you look back at the object it was built from. Very sneaky, the tricks that your eyes can play on you.
the "what is this?" painting looks a bit like acrylic pouring. love it!

@@NatalovesLilly No, acrylic pouring uses acrylic paint. You put different colours of paint into a cup then put the canvas on top of the cup, then flip it over and lift the cup. It creates an interesting marbled effect.

even though i never touch mods and custom content i still enjoy seeing how happy it makes deli :)
may I ask why? i only recently got into mods and CC and im not sure why everyone avoids these like the plague lol

I don’t know, am I the only one who doesn’t have a problem with mods being outdated?
My cas and BB items rarely break, and when they do I either don’t bother or do a S4S batch fix to see if they get fixed, or I search the broken ones with S4S and redownload (I organize CAS and BB stuff in separate folders by creators so it’s easy to redownload, I’d suggest this to everyone because it makes life much easier).
As for script mods I have a list with all the mods I use and when a bigger update comes out I just look them up in the broken/uodated mods lists with the browser search function, and redownload. I find it to be quick and easy... or I just delete all my script mods and redownload everything without checking. That’s usually pretty quick too.
Is anyone else having it easy like me or am I just some sort of super lucky with my CC and mods? 😟

Err do you use sims 4 studio? They sometimes release batch fixes you can apply to ALL BB and CAS. If you used CC before cats and dogs came out you might remember that literally all furniture broke with that update. Shortly after S4S released a “Cats & Dogs batch fix” that repaired 99.9% of those broken CC. It’s really a must for people with CC in my opinion

I never use CC in the game because I feel like they break the aesthetic of Sims 4 but this pack is absolutely perfect for the game, even the separated stove top, it fits in the game very well. I wonder why they never did stuff like this, simple and functional. Deligracy you need to send this video to them because there are some facts to be presented, some tea to be spilled.
Lol I'm just now realizing that sims take things directly out of the oven without mitts. I legit winced.

Wow the cooktop!!! 😍 And I love me some small consol tables to put in the hallways!
The colourways of the plantpots are really cool, I love the blue and green! They'd make for a nice pop of colour.
And the coffee table with the books! 😍 The dresser is amazing as well! 😍 Especially the fact they went to the effort to slimming them down, I always feel like the Maxis ones are just too big.

Looks very nice!! Deli, I'm wondering if you've checked Peacemaker's Lennox kitchen. It is my absolute favorite. Modern, maxis-match and comes in a variety of colors.
Ugh his stuff is basically perfect, so much that I can even overlook the sets of his that are a little too alpha for my comfort

Illogical Sims makes the best cc. 😉 I use the sofa in so many of my builds now. So modern and chill! I love it!
I hope I’ll get a computer in the future that will be able to handle cc (and maybe mods). If I do, I want this cc pack! I LOVE the kitchen. We live in anti-squat homes and most of the time just have one pit and an oven stacked or cramped in somewhere. This pack allows me to replicate our kitchens more realisticly! The sims 4 kitchen objects are usually so broad!
Also, deli, we have a couch with broad arm rests. We had to save up money for that and it is lovely! Not plastic looking irl!!! I agree the slimmer version looks better in game though.
Also irl we have lots of artistic friends and family (that make money by making paintings) and that ‘coral painting’ as you called it is the first painting I ever seen in the sims 4 that resembles some of their styles and the styles that we have in our house. I love it!!!

I am SO excited by this pack! Illogical Simmer is like my Sim-patronus, if you were, they make all the things *I* would make if I knew how to make CC(only WAY better than I ever could!), they are AMAZING!!

That painting over the fire place looks exactly like stained bacterial slides under a microscope, like exactly. I would not be surprised if it was.
I learned about Kichen from you, and I got it as soon as it was publicly available. I learned about Modern Housewares from not-you and got it right away, but I watched your review anyway because I like your take on things. (And yes, I would say the same thing to Semaj and Kayak. You three are my go-to Sims discussion people.)

Everytime I watch your videos and see you waving around a cup full of tea with the liquid swishing around, I get seriously nervous lol
Deli not noticing that the swatches on the sofas are the same as on the base game sofas and that the few with the nice texture were new swatches EA added in more recently in an update. The brilliant bit was the resized and reshaped sofas to look more like real sofas, but in colours which fit with the rest of the EA colour swatches.

I feel your console pain. We probably never will get cc on console or we would have to pay for it like an add on. But having CC on console could make it slower because consoles don't have as good processors and stuff like PC's. It's sad. 😭😭
I make The Sims 4 speed CAS videos and all of my sims look the same because there are not any good hairstyles or clothes to use.
If you buy the counter with the stove attached located in the stove tab, you can put the oven in the same cupboard underneath the stove!!

I think the counter with the stove incorporated is made so you can put the stove and oven in the same counter if you want.

with the sized down ceiling light he made tha light flat instead of it having tha rounded glass... which makes it look so much nicer and real.
