I feel like how we never find who is under V’s mask shows how he could be anyone. He is not a person, he is a symbol of the people and he shows how anyone can make a difference

No, he can't be anyone. There is symbolism, however. He tells us who he is when he kills Prothoro. He says he is the ghost of Christmas past. Is he referring to the apparition from the story by Dickens? Or, is he invoking the "ghost" of the original Christmas story?
Recall his conversation with Evey in the kitchen when he says the injustice he suffered was "ancient history to some?"
Recall Prothero's shriek when he sees V reflected in the TV just before he is killed.... "holy Christ Jesus?"
Ask yourself how a "ghost" from the past would seek vengeance against his enemies at a future time. Would he do so openly, or would he wear a mask? What we are witnessing in "V" is a warning that the takeover of the nations by Christ is no longer imminent, but rather well underway.
This is what Heath Ledger's Joker would be if he was a good guy.

Interesting watching this while in Government Quarantine.
hęïdî Søõōõ, for people who lost their job and have no way to pay for expenses this quarantine is certainly bad. But it has been god for me. I still have my remote job, but I work from home more than before and I get to spend a lot more time with my family. I tell my kids that this is a historic time and they should remember it as it will get into history books and we are part of it.

I remember when my teacher presented to us her favorite genres so we would read something over the weekend, she told us about Fahrenheit 451, V for Vendetta, and 1984. And I still remember what she said
" When they first came out, it was so new. And unbelievable. You wrote about a world in which the government is actually corrupt and it gets overthrown? Not possible. But, it's happening. And we are not in the beginning. We are several stages ahead. "
Natalie Portman was excellent in this movie and Hugo Weaving was epic. Hugo conveyed so much emotion, empathy and weight behind a mask it was a master class in acting!!!
Hugo is a Great Actor
It's like he speaks with the conviction of Mr Anderson and the nobility of Elrond. He has such a great ability to impersonate other actors.

Very Clever, brilliantly acted, full of suspense and it is one of those films where you can miss so much on first viewing I am sure :)

This movies' storyline is as relevant today as it was literally a century ago. This is not necessarily a prediction of the future. But a truth of how governments have always sought out to control the people and stay in power. Art has spoken this truth over generations. This movie is based on something bigger than us today. And will continue to be relevant a century from now IF we don't listen to the underlying message.

I just read the comics, and watched the movie. By far my favorite creation of all time.
One of my all time favourite films. Class actors and the awesome Natalie Portman. A class film will go down in cinematic history. Great story everything is brilliant.
