2019 GS owner here. You can mix and match your steering, suspension, and tach. I like Track Steering, Sport Tach, and Tour Suspension. Oh, and exhaust I leave in Sport. Another oddity that no one mentions is the asymmetry of the door panels. They're different, and cool. Tire pressure being critical to the performance of any car, I leave it on the dash screen.
@@kronicstudios7599bro I’m saving up for the 2016 Corvette Stingray used and and I’ve seen pretty good deals all around that majority of them are around 40k w only 20-40k miles on them. The one I want specifically has 39k miles on it and it’s selling for 45k but obviously I won’t have enough in time to buy that specific one but I do plan to get one soon. 🙌
Great video, couldn’t agree more. Love my c7 z51. I think the c7 vette is actually the only modern sports car that combines light weight, manual transmission, RWD, and an NA v8. Can’t think of anything else that offers that.
I didn't expect to, but I love this car. Drove loads (all around 10 years old) for a supercar company: Dodge Charger / Hellcat, Maserati, Lotus Evora, Nissan GTR, Merc AMG, 911, Gallardos, McLarens, but for some reason this is still my favourite car in the fleet. It's flipping quick, makes a great noise, makes you smile, you can take the roof off, really comfortable, easy to drive, not even the quickest on track but I don't care. I just love it! Want one shipped to the UK...
Glad your still making these videos. I watched a ton of info videos before buying my C7 in January, including yours, and it definitely helped me influence my purchase. Even though I already have the car, I still enjoy watching these for some reason 😂 the more you know I guess.
@@ProfessorDrives Thank you, it's such an amazing car! Coming from a V6, when I was driving back home from the initial purchase, I was kinda scared because of the power of this thing. 😂 I'm more comfortable with it now and it's engine power when unleashed is insane. I ended up getting it in Sterling Blue.
Oh and btw … the competition seats and carbon fiber dash are not specific to the z06, they’re optional on any c7. My stingray has them. And also - the 991 and 992 Porsche 911 and the Aston Martin Vantage also have 7 speed manuals
I purchased my 2014 convertible z51 2 years ago. Love watching your video. Makes me realize I picked up an incredible car. I might of paid a little more than I should have. But I purchased it from an older guy who is the president of one of the corvette clubs here in Colorado. Absolutely love this car.
Just picked up 2014 C7 with the seven speed manual last month. My previous cars just to name a few S200, FD RX7, 996 I have to say the C7 is my all-time favorite car. I picked mine up for $36k one owner car with 60,000 miles
Prices are coming right back to where you paid. The good deals typically sell pretty quick but I have seen a few low mileage early c7s sell in the mid-30s in the past few weeks.
$34k in 2020 is about $40k now lol blame inflation for being the number one cause of price increases. Technically though, most people are making much more money now compared to back then so affordability wise it’s about the same assuming you are making more money now
I bought a 2015 Sringray 7speed new and did a lot of homework before buying. This appears to be a dressed up base model. The seats are red but the door card has no red, which means it’s a 1LT package. The grill has been replaced, the “corvette” badge on the back has been removed, the rear spoiler was added after the fact and I believe that is the factory exhaust. There was a standard exhaust and a performance exhaust, it’s pretty rare to see one of these without the performance exhaust. Yours looks and sounds like the performance exhaust. I love my Stingray and think they get overlooked and undervalued because of the Z06 and ZR1 and the fact that most people who bought a Stingray bought the automatic which lets the car down (Clicky shift levers, slow shifts unless flat out, no ability to turn off cylinder deactivation even in track mode).
I love these for the price and the fact prices are returning to more of a norm. Just in the past few weeks I have watched a few lower mileage early cars sell mid 30s and really nice sub 25K mile Grand sports sell low 50s. The good deals are out there, they just don't stay on the listings more than a week
If I am going to pay $45,000.00 for a vette they better not show me that wrinkled arm rest behind the shifter! Replace the damn thing before you put it on the lot! Damn! That's like showing me a Lamborghini with bumper stickers!
Your car doesn't have it, but the cooled seats are a great option. I use mine all the time. With the air conditioning on, you can cool your seats down nicely. Also, about the hood vent - it extracts heat from the radiator and it actually contributes a little bit to the down force at the front.
I'm considering buying a car and I'm torn between three options: a 2014-2016 C7 Corvette, a 2010-2013 Mercedes S550, or a 2014-2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I think the C7 is fantastic.
It's a great car, but the C6 might be a better deal. The LS3 makes 436/430, is indestructible and the C6 weighs 3200lbs, so comparable performance without direct injection. The C7 interior is far better than the C6.
one thing wrong w the video is only z51s have functional vents ive been trying to find a good priced vette for awhile but cant find any z51s the non functional vents is kinda a deal breaker
Worst part about this video is I bought a 2015 c7 z51 with a built motor and full exhaust for 38500 back in 2018 with 38k on the odometer. I foolishly sold it before car prices went insane and I miss it until this day.
Someone put a Z06 grille on it. I have a 14 Z51 Yellow with black stripes, 7 spd , supercharged, kooks long tube headers, catted x pipe, billy boat fusion axel back, tuned. 570hp at the rear wheels. Beautiful car. I just can't get a C8, I need a manual.
I LOVE THE C7 BUT I GOT THE C8. WHILE C7 IS WAY MORE CHEAPER I LOVE MY C8 CORVETTE. I HAVE THE Z51 PACKAGE ON IT 2LT MODEL. I DID PAY A QUITE A BIT FOR IT BUT IN MY OPINION IT WAS WORTHTHE PRICE OF THE CAR! 0-6 IN ABOUT 2.7 SECONDS!

I made the jump, too. I miss the C7 some days. I can feel the weight difference, but that’ll happen when you go from C7 1LT to a C8 3LT.
So, did it arrive? How is it?

purchased a 2014 C7 stingray 3LT Manual in October 2022, it had 1,800 miles when I bought it. I feel it is the right amount of fun / enjoyable fast.
Love your enthusiasm, and review style. Keep it up! Nice review.
Enjoy bud! Got my ‘17 7speed new, still have it today. 44k miles. Hard to want to give it up for something different without spending so much more $$.
i hope to have this car or z06 in a few years, my dream car 🥲🥲

Love my c7z! Still want to mod it one of these days. Think cam is needed lol
I really want a corvette, but not a stingray. I’ll wait a few more months and just get a Z06
Nice video I just bought a 2016 Z 51. Unfortunately, on the stingray, the rear vents on the quarter panels are not functional if not Z51

I bought a c7 brand new for $48K in 2018. Not sure if $45k 6.5 years later is a good deal.
Compared to the dumpster fire that is the C8, this car is definitely worth it

2014 Shelby is the best car under 50k no doubt
It will hold its value, but is heavy, overpowered considering its tires and doesn't handle all that well. If you said GT350...okay.
