2LT is by far the best bang for your buck. You can add other OEM parts in the future if you are wanting upgrades. If you are on a budget, 2LT is the way to go. I got my 2015 stingray 2LT for around $38,000 with 44K miles in fantastic condition. The cars performance is tremendous for the price (granted I traded in a 2013 V6 mustang, so the power is way higher). It performs like a sports car that is $100k+
The seats are ventilated not a/c... best way to use them is to turn the air conditioning on and direct the air to the floor vents.. this helps the seats vent cooler air through them.

The reason for the separate climate passenger seat and climate controller on the right side is for the passenger and the reason it’s on the right side is so the passenger isn’t reaching into the drivers cockpit (notice how all the controls are pointing towards the left Driver seat) but still passenger can adjust his/her side with no issue. The center seat heating and cooling isn’t the redundantcy the right side mini controller set IS the redundantcy so Passenger doesn’t have to choose between comfort and killing everyone 😂 ( 9:20 referring) I say ( killing like a car accident) because on a track some of these cars top out at 205 MPH. If the passenger isn’t reaching into an area that the driver controls that helps driver drive (LESS distractions or interference form passengers from “trivial tasks” like (climate adjust actions compared to drivers actions of keeping people safe and driving and controlling the vehicle. )
go to 2:48 , spent that time talking bout his own ride , I can't run clear tail lights, dey are illegal in some places I go , only 4 levels of Vetters , c7, c7 grandsport, c7 zo6 c7 zr1
Dreaming about affording one as soon as the c8 comes out. I am hoping for these to go down an average of $5,000 and hopefully I can find a z51 package for around $34,000 with under 50,000 miles.
This comment is 2 yrs old. But I had to respond because 2 years ago I was thinking the same thing, that around this time I'd but a nice base for around $30K or a Z51 for mid 30s. Now look at it! You can barely find a base C7 for under $40k. How disappointing. Hopefully this drops back down in a year or two

Hey there again mike, the 2018 corvette stingray 1 LT is standard equipment with the 19 inch front and 20 inch rear. Bc mine I just bought 4 weeks ago left over has them. Mine has the performance exhaust as a option as well. My 18 new corvette I just bought only has 30 day s of OnStar/WiFi/xm radio. My other car 18 Camaro ss I bought last year has 90 days of OnStar and the stuff!!! Idk??? Did Chevy cheap out on the OnStar 🤔???? Those cargo shade are cheap looking for a car that price!!! I don’t use them lol. Good video 👍
Will the GT1 seats be more comfortable for daily driving than the GT2 seats, assuming they are both in a 2LT? I'm considering the LT3 but I can't choose GT1 seats and if they are more comfortable that's more important to me.

hi Jake, thats what I did, bought a 14 Stingray with 9k miles, being a first year model, it swade me to buy the extended warranty. Since the previous owner drove it locally, I plan on doing some real distance soon. Just got back from Yuma Az., where 5 C8s were spotted cruising the streets and taking a break from the Yuma Proving Grounds. Chevy got the C7 right the first time, so they can never go back to the days of put it out there and will refine it over the years. Quality and reliability should come first, for any manufacture, regardless of the price, unless they don't want to sell any cars, well maybe 2, for the trend setters...lol. Audi owns Lambo and you can get a Lambo fix, V10 mid engine in the R8, for less cash, just saying to all. I hope the the C8 Vette uses as many C7 parts and systems in it as much as possible, because they do work, and keep working. Enjoy your ride, and the choice you make.

In my dads 2014 3LT Corvette Stingray the ventilated seats work for a little then stops
That was decent however what (if any) are the performance differences?
@@ChevyDude and the zed L 1 ? Big leap in price and performance?(my wife is driver one also 🤔)
The reason for the separate climate passenger seat and climate controller on the right side is for the passenger and the reason it’s on the right side is so the passenger isn’t reaching into the drivers cockpit (notice how all the controls are pointing towards the left Driver seat) but still passenger can adjust his/her side with no issue. If the passenger isn’t reaching into an area that the driver controls that helps driver drive (LESS distractions or interference form passengers from “trivial tasks” like (climate adjust actions compared to drivers actions of keeping people safe and driving and controlling the vehicle. )
Great video!
Great Vid!
go to 2:48 , spent that time talking bout his own ride , I can't run clear tail lights, dey are illegal in some places I go , only 4 levels of Vetters , c7, c7 grandsport, c7 zo6 c7 zr1
Hopefully this drops back down in a year or two
@@justinwacker4373 man I know it. I been looking for one as a graduation present to myself and it just seems like a terrible time to be looking.
I'm in the same boat prices r fucked up on high miles vehicle I should had bought one years ago but I was trying to be responsible but screwed me over lol hopefully I can find the right model good price and miles
@@hotballer02 I regret not buying one for 35k back in 2020. It was the z51 package and had around 22 thousand miles 😑. Can’t even find them for under 45 grand anymore.
Now i just need to be able to afford one
Good explanation. Now I'm little bit understand what a difference between them.
Thank you for all the info I didn't know 🤘🤘👌👌
★ 3:32 Trim Levels Explained ★ You just swayed me back toward Corvette!! I am getting either a Vette or an Audi R8, and can't make up my mind. You were very helpful. If anyone here wants to know how you can earn one of these, contact me. I am looking for intelligent, hard working and money motivated people to work with. Tire kickers, need not apply. Of course... When we buy our cars, we must buy them through the Chevy Dude!
If you are considering the R8, which is mid engine, then wait for the C8 to go on sale...unless you can't wait, then buy a C7 front engine. Luv my 14 3LT Stingray Vert., Crystal Red with Solid spoke wheels and optional color matching low profile spoiler, Awesome !!
@@maxfly7079 I am definitely not interested in the mid engine Vette, until it comes out and the market settles on them. I have never been a fan of throwing money down the tubes, just so I can get the car before anyone else. Plus I prefer low mileage, used cars. That's a nice car you have there. I like the Stringray. Thanks for your comment.
hi Jake, thats what I did, bought a 14 Stingray with 9k miles, being a first year model, it swade me to buy the extended warranty. Enjoy your ride, and the choice you make.

whoooops!! ...you got to keep repeating the propaganda, for the truth to set in...sorry for the duplication.
Great video brother keep up the awesome work when the New Vette actuallly comes out you gonna order one for you and you wife have a great week
8 seconds into the video and there is already an Ad. WTF?
Have owned 5 Corvettes over the past 50 years the last one a 2014. There was a time when you wanted air conditioning you just ordered it you didn’t need to buy seven other options to get it.
You helped me decide on what I wanted thank you
Super helpful I watched the whole video
Very informative.. thanks Chevy dude
Chevy dude you got a number
Thanks Sir. I really like your videos. I have a 76 Corvette I'm restoring and hope to have it mostly done this year. My plan is selling it and putting that down on a new one. I just hope I'll be able to swing it. If not I'll have to go for a used one. Do you sell many used Corvettes? I thought this video was very good on the different packages. I really had no idea.
Thanks again...
1LT is synthetic leather. Organic material doesn’t melt.
I wonder if cooled seats on the camaro 2ss are also disappointing. I picked a '17 ss 1le for other obvious reasons, but no cooled seat... Might swap for a zl1 or z06 in a more or less distant future.
I'm glad this video exists because I just got a job in chevy sales lmao.
