Warriors are insanely deep, with an 10-12 man rotation. With Steph, Klay, Wigs, Dray, Loon as the stsrting 5, and with CP3, GP2, Moody, JK, Saric, and TJD and Brandin as Reserves. RESERVES for goodness sake... I really hope TJD should be the Backup center since he lives for the boards... 10 rebounds in 20ish mins is nuts, and what's more insane is that 8 of those came from offensive boards. How do people think he's overrated? Casual takes. His scoring abilities isn't what makes him valuable. His ability to lead and rally a team, make plays, and mentor other players. Him coming off the bench is the perfect role for him. As for his coming up short constantly in the playoffs - he has not missed the playoffs in over a decade and he's been on some mediocre squads throughout. The Suns were a 19 win team prior to Chris Paul arriving. 2 years later, they were in the Finals. This is the effect he has on teams he's on.

People forget that during the championship year, Kuminga started 12 games while Klay was recovering. He's got the skills to become a full time starter if he's willing to stick with CP3 & the gang until they retire. Maybe after winning another 2 rings he'll be motivated to go for the Tim Duncan 5?

The vibes are generally pretty good right now but I'm still cautious in my optimism. The team is has healthy as they are ever going to be. They need to load manage the minutes of the older players as much as they can to try and make it through the season in as good health as possible.
They still need some more front court options for later in the season. And they will have to sign at least one more player before too long anyway given the rules on roster spots.
On the court they need to continue working at other ways to play than just jacking up 3s. There should be at least 2 players capable of driving to the rim and collapsing the defense at any one time, that's the whole point of spacing the floor.
JK and Moody are coming for Wiggins and Klay's spots. Wiggins has been a dumpster fire to start the season, he looks out of shape and not engaged mentally. I think Wemby may have taken his soul in Pre season. By the time the post season roles around someone be it Wiggins or JK or Moody is going to have to play the role Wiggins himself played in that 22 run.
For now wins won't mean too much until they can show they can beat the likes of Boston, Denver, Milwaukee and the Lakers.
Ultimately I love how aggressive Steph has been but it shouldn't just be the Steph show all the time. Sometimes it still looks like he's carrying the team way too much this early in the season.

21 minutes a game from your players is load management, I'm sure that's one of the lowest if not the lowest amount of minutes of stars so far, Moody, Kuminga and GPII are running the rim

Not just keep them even , the bench is actually growing the leads more than what the starters are . The starters are literally just taking over the game in the 4th . 😂 gsw winning 60 games this year I tried to tell people (not you specifically)

Love Steph's 3-pointers---it's like a slam dunk on the Excitement scale. But beware! GSW must not get addicted to the thrill of the 3-pointer and neglect a consistent strong inside game, playing big in the paint.

Warriors BENCH this year has been crazy! They are leading the league in: plus/minus, rebounds per game, steals per game, and blocks per game.
And remember the warriors had the best starting lineup in the league last year. By a lot. No reason not to be excited.

Poole was addition by subtraction. he was not a complete player anyway. We had a fractured linep last year with him in it and overall. This year we have Chris Paul giving us a veteran Point Guard on the floor when Curry isn't. GPII and his defense here all year and healthy. Kuminga and Moody stepping up finally in their third years, and Steph looking like he is 20 years old. Amazing. We did not win a road game until the 9th road game last year. We have won the first three already. By the way I love this analysis, great job Hoop Reports!
