Think about it like this. We're still only 1 year removed from winning the championship, last season we had the best starting 5 of any team in basketball statistically, and the only problem was our bench. But this off-season, we made significant upgrades to improve the bench, and with any luck, we'll see more development and improvement from Kuminga and Moody. Combine that with the fact that we no longer have a target on our backs as the defending champions and people are now sleeping on us and saying that the dynasty is over for good, and it's a recipe for another deep playoff run or possibly even a championship. A storm is brewing in the bay.
The two biggest weaknesses were handled by dishing pool for cp3, old as he is. The dysfunction in the locker room should be sorted, and the absolute disaster that the Steph minutes were should be handled. I would feel even better if we had one traditional big, but loon is severely underrated, especially on defense, Saric can now spread the floor, and let's hope tjd is ready for the nba. I think we will be much better on defense, hugely improved on the road, and I think we'll see much better offensive production off the bench.

And CP3 still has gas in the tank and hunger in his heart. He has been denied a ring long enough. It's time. The only way the Dubs could make this roster perfect is to add JaVale McGee. I like Kuminga a lot. But let's not burden him with too many expectations. Meanwhile, Moody keeps slipping under the radar. This isn't meant to diminish Kuminga's possibilities for next year: quite the opposite. A second unit led by Chris Paul, and all the new players available, suggest a second unit that could rival the first. And all of those guys can tee up on the first unit if needed.
