1. Coconut Water (unsweetened) 2. Herbal Tea (without caffeine or citrus) - Marshmallow tea is a great remedy for a swollen throat. 3. Plant-Based Milk (low sugar) - almond/oat milk are best. 4. Juices (low-sugar and low-acid) - carrot, watermelon, cucumber, beet, spinach, aloe vera and cabbage juice. 5. Bone Broth (low-sodium) What to avoid: - Caffeine (dehydrates) - Sugar (dehydrates & causes energy crash/fatigue) - Animal-derived milk (causes mucus buildup) - Extremely cold or extremely hot drinks (causes distress to the vocal cords) - Carbonated drinks (causes mucus buildup and excess gas) What to choose instead: - Rich in vitamins - Plant-based milks - Room-temperature - Non-carbonated drinks

I'm saving this list, thank you! I have bone broth quite often and I add veggies to it for soup, but I will drink it now before singing. Coconut water is good and I'll start with that again. Good to see you! I love your exercises. My voice training teacher recommended your vocal exercises and I love doing them along with you. 💝🎵🎶🎼

I make my own teas and treats but we have cattle and I make my own bone broth but I think you can ask your local Butcher for the bones because I ask them to save the beef fat cut to make bars I forget what it called but we eat it in winter or keep it in the Tornado shelter because it's dried meat fruits veggies and berries it helps it last alot longer
Thanks so much for your best drinks for singers! I like the bone broth part very much. You see, bone broth does a double job. Not only is it good for your voice but also good collagen for general health especially your skin!
Hello nice to hear from you again... I’ve been watching most of your videos from the previous years and I’ve really learnt a lot. and I’ve recommended for others. Thanks very much really appreciate them.
Hiee Ronja.. Nice to see you.🤗 Im watching from New Zealand. Would like to thank you for all the good stuff you've shared. You did an amazing job sharing how to look after our vocal cords/ health. Very helpful..
Welcome back Ronja! We have definitely missed you and your nice contents. Thank you for this interesting review. I just wanted to add that liquorice drink might not be the best choice for people who suffer from high blood pressure.
Hi Monika, great question. Green tea has many health benefits, however it u fortunately has caffeine which dehydrates us. You can still drink it, but if you are looking to stay hydrated I would not recommend it within the hours of singing. Hope it helps 😊
Her linkedin seems to suggest she got back to school while maintaining the channel. At some point she probably put the latter on the side to focus on completing her education.
@@Mariooo57 @Alexandra Klein Thanks for the info! I so appreciate it! 😃 I hope she will get back on her YT Channel, even if only from time to time! Thx again! 😊
Is 🍋 water bad for vocal health? I just love, love lemon water. I drink almost a half gallon of water everyday, and more than 50% of the time there's lemon in it.
We really miss you. Please ma'am upload music purpose more information. I follow your all classes and these are really effective. Thanks ma'am for come back🙏
A question for a singing coach. Once upon a time I had a pretty good voice though I was never a professional but something happened that makes it difficult to sing now. I loved power notes and hitting them hard. I sang this way for years. At the time I smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day. After I quit smoking I began to have trouble with my voice. Every time I go for a power note I get a tickle in my throat and start to cough. At first I thought it was because I was still secreting mucus that normally protected my throat from the smoke. I quit singing for a long time because of that. Now a friend has asked me to sing again. I’d like to but even though it’s been many years since I had the phlegm problem, I still can’t hit those notes without coughing. Do you have any suggestions that don’t involve throwing gobs of money at doctors? These are definitely problems insurance companies don’t like spending on.
Sounds like a bit of tobacco withdrawal. Also smoking has probably caused some damage on your vocal cords. I'm not a doctor, by the way. This is just my input. I hope you get your voice back all healthy and get singing again.
Also I have trouble with pitch and like melody vs harmony if you could do some kind of video on that or for the membership site somewhere I really need a good training system because sometimes I'm not sure if I'm singing a harmony or the melody just in a higher pitch. Especially when I sing alongside a male voice it's trickier because the voices are deeper naturally It confuses me PLEASE HELP 🖤 THANK YOUUU
Hi Jesmin, that is a great idea for a video. Until I’m able to make it, I suggest that you start with my videos on breathing, resonance, and register control. Those a great places to start for singers. Hope it helps😊
Mam my voice is damaged due to eating chalks... Cuz I have a disorder... I stopped eating chalks....but my voice is kinda not coming out and is damaged...is there anything that I can do to fix my voice???.....and welcome back!!!
Hi Meeran, Thanks for sharing your story. If you can, I would start by seeing an ENT just to make sure that there's not anything else going on with your voice. In terms of recovery, gentle exercises to get good balanced voice production is a good start. I recommend lip trills, breathing and resonance exercises. Here's the lip trill video link: ruclips.net/video/fwNPp-RS4IY/видео.html Listening to your voice to find balance is also helpful. Try this video and practice with the hands like I show them. Feels a bit silly, but it is such a great way to practice balanced voice production :) ruclips.net/video/0yKMbRiOwsw/видео.html Hope it help
