I bought this pc today and I am so happy with it so far, my grandma actually helped me buy it. It's a great prebuilt budget idea for anyone looking for a starter computer, the only problems I have with it is the very minimal storage you get right off the bat (easily fixable by buying am external hard drive) and the single channel ram (also fixable by buying another stick of RAM.
where could i get a ram stick that actually fits this pc, cause i bought one as well and tried putting in my old ram sticks from much older pc's and they dont fit in the slots. im tryna get a ram stick that fits it.
It's junk, expect to have many issues with it. Get a extended warranty because you will have component issues once the initial warranty runs out.

Just picked up one of these for $489 at the Walmart near me.. They are sold out everywhere but was able to find one. So far very happy with the performance.. you should try it sometime...if I can do it, anyone can!
Always build if you can. Itll be better for upgrading and when the time comes you'll know your way around the pc and won't have any issues.
@@Brandon-gs2ue It's not as good of an option as some people think. Look around and do your research, and you can buy a powerful pre built for less than the components would cost individually - while getting proper branded, quality motherboards, cases, power supply etc. Even only paying 50-100 more, which is easy to find, is good value for the convenience.
Then there is the convenience for repairs. A part goes in your own build, you have to figure out what it is if it is not obvious, and deal with the warranties of all the separate manufacturers/suppliers and hope you didn't cause anything building or making a mistake. In a pre built you have the one manufacturer who does everything, and arranges pickup. You can also generally extend the warranty on the pre built, as a single unit.
Building your own is still a good option for some who enjoy it, but pre builts are a lot different than 10 years ago when it would be stupid to prefer them (as long as you research, not all obviously).
If I would’ve seen this earlier I would’ve copped instead I got one for 580 but it was only a 1650 but it still brought extra 1tb of storage hdd

Still rocking this computer. Bought it in April 2021 from my local Walmart for $599. Turns out that the Ram inside was Samsung branded 3200 Mhz, so I got another stick up bump it up to 16. Also added a Samsung 2TB SSD. One other upgrade I did was I bought a Pcie X1 adapter since there's an open X1 slot, and added another 256 git NVME on that. The only other upgrade I'd do is the GPU when prices go down, but I'd be worried about running a 2060 with a 400w psu. I think the most I'd go is a 1660 ti. Great machine overall though.

Part of the issue between the 8GB setup and the 12GB setup is that the ram is probably running in flex mode or still in single mode. The 4GB stick and the first 4GB of the 8GB stick should run dual channel but the remaining 4GB of the 8GB stick will run single channel. Probably could swap in two 8GB sticks and get them to a similar clock as the included stick to give a better idea of what true dual channel would reflect.

thanks for the review, i’ll be honest i don’t know shit about pcs but this definitely helped!
This is a great PC, with killer specs for the price.
Even 3 years later those pcs hold up their value somewhat and are upgradable
I have this same pc. I call it a travel PC or backpack PC. I Added a Corsair vengeance 16gb kit of ram, a 2.5 inch hdd for storage and last added a side case fan because it didn't have one for intake air which is odd. I love it has an lga socket for air cooler even though it is a ryzen cpu. I heard AM5 is going LGA so it is interesting HP did it before this announcement.
