Eddie van Halen, Chet Atkins, Doyle Dykes, Glen Campbell, Billy Strings, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimmy Hendrix Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Albert Lee, Molly Tuttle - to name but a few - check them out on RUclips - all superb in their own right.

I didn't grow up in the UK- I live there now- so this band is new to me. ( I am from Southern California and liked the tornadoes). The Shadows would have been among my favourites back then; I really enjoy listening to them now.
Dude, there's some good bass work going on there too though, even if the drums are a bit sedate. If you listen close to the bass, you can really pick up the variations
