I’ve lived in central Whitstable for the last 15 yrs and it’s the most beautiful place to live and apart from the wonderful surroundings the people here are absolute gems! Ossies definitely do the best fish & chips. Excellent video x
You have found some interesting places to see in your visit to Whitstable. There is certainly something to be said for venturing further afield to the smaller towns, and not just going to the big cities. The appeal of oysters, and fish and chips with a beer is definitely the way to go, especially if you can take your little mate London.
It’s always a nice combination of of beach, beer and fish and chips. Whitstable is certainly a popular coastal town and always busy. I know you’d love wandering around exploring the shops and tasting the food 😀
Not a bad video. I love Catman, The Neptune, and Ossie’s too. Only major blooper is that the brightly coloured huts on the shore are NOT old fisherman’s cottages - they are Beach Huts and have bathing/leisure origins - you are not allowed to sleep in them. There are actual old fisherman huts in Whitstable which are the ones you can stay in as B&Bs but these are the black buildings closer to the harbour. I think you are getting the beach huts mixed up with these :)
