    This man is a master instructor. Clear enunciation at measured speed, total lack of distracting blah blah and pseudo-jollity ("Hi guys, how are you all today..." etc etc), perfect synchronisation of the spoken tutorial with the on-screen cursor movements and selections. Oh how I wish that other RUclips how-tos were like this.
    Just one question: if I understood correctly, it is not possible to extract/rescue individual files from an image created in this manner. One can only restore the full image. Is that right ?

      dear sir . Your comment on the video is a reward for me. I am really happy with this comment. I thank you . Regarding your question, you really cannot extract files or folders directly. But if you restore, you will get the system and Windows completely, and certainly the files and folders that were backed up. I hope the answer to your question is understandable to you. Sir, I would like to thank you again💛

    There is something IMPORTANT missing...When you reboot your computer you need to reboot in recovery mode OR use a recovery USB stick build before AND it must be in the boot order before your hard disk containing windows. You can also specify to boot FROM the usb stick by choosing it on the boot time...Most of the BIOS are using F2 or Delete at boot time...Otherwise you rebooting Windows and nothing else....
    Can you change the size and location for partitions such as efi or C: drive if you are cloning...?

    • @DOITMOSTAFAAHMED
      @DOITMOSTAFAAHMED  Год назад +2

      You can change size and location for partitions
      But why would you want to change it? Note that when you change, you may lose data unless you made a backup copy before this change. Also, when restarting the computer, you need to boot into recovery mode or use a USB drive. I hope that the answer clarifies the information that you are missing. I am waiting for your reply if you have any other questions. Also, thank you for the comment, sir

    Very good instructional video. Now, for something different. I have two client corporate accounts that I no longer want or need. Had to add to access resources and work on their projects, but their accounts and influences have NOT gone away. I was told to reimage my laptop and that will wipe them out. What a hassle. Any affirmation to that? Any other options? I also use an external drive.

    Hello. Great video. I'm trying to upgrade my laptop's SSD storage because it's full already. I did the backup and the process was straight forward as shown in the video, however, I noticed that the backup file saved in my hard drive is empty (apparently, but it did took storage from the hard drive). My question is, Is this going to prevent me to restore the data when I install the new ssd in my laptop? Thank you

    You forgot to mention that after a successful completion of the System Image Backup, the folder on the external hard drive, you saved this to; 'WindowsImageBackup' shows an empty 0 bytes and the user has no viewing access to this folder and thus therefore, has no way of knowing for certain whether in the event of your PC failing, this System Image Backup will restore ones PC to its original state?.

Try it and tell me what I did. And if the problem is not solved, tell me. If you try it and succeed with me more than once. I will wait your reply

    Thanks for these instructions!
    I am stuck however because I did the backup like in your video but I did a factory reset after this and now the computer went back to Windows 10, even though the backup was done in Windows 11.
    I downloaded Windows 11 on a bootable drive and am following the video. When I get to the troubleshoot options and click on System Image Recovery, I don't get Windows 11 as the target operating system like in the video at 4:53. Only Windows 10 shows for me.
    Can I still restore my files even though it's Windows 10 now?

    • @DOITMOSTAFAAHMED
      @DOITMOSTAFAAHMED  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment. But let me ask you why I did a factory reset after doing the backup. Also, did you install Windows 11 on Windows 10? In other words, did you update Windows 10 to install Windows 11? If you did, it is normal to go back to Windows 10 when doing a factory reset. It was necessary to format the C drive and then install Windows 11 Pure. Regarding your files, if the files are on a drive other than the Windows drive, the files will be the same. But if you do a complete format of the hard drive, the files will not be found. And I think you didn't format the hard drive
      Another question, how did you get Windows 11? Is it an original copy? or version is not supported. Because there are many versions of Windows 11 that are not supported. I will wait for your reply and I will try with you until you find your files. Sorry for the prolongation, but I would like to understand well before taking the next step. Thank you again and sorry sir for the delay in replying.💯

The other partitions from the drive wouldn't be erased, i will still have all my files from those partitions untouched?

    What you neglected to say, is that any work that you have done and saved on your computer after you created that system image will not be restored. So, if the system image you use to restore from is a month old, you will lose all of the work that you did within that last month.

      Thank you for your comment and also for drawing my attention to an important point. But I think that every person who backs up anything, for example, must know that this backup copy is a picture of this moment, and any change or addition in the future is not included in the backup copy. Therefore, it is always recommended to take a backup copy every period of time, for example, every 10 days or every month. Thank you again for your comment. And I hope you will subscribe to my channel. I will be very happy to have someone, for example, with me on the channel. And you may find other information useful to you. ============================

    There is not enough disk space to create the volume shadow copy on the storage location. Make sure that, for all volumes to be backup up, the minimum required disk space for shadow copy creation is available. This applies to both the backup storage destination and volumes included in the backup. Minimum requirement: For volumes less than 500 Mb, the minimum is 320 Mb of free space. Recommended: At least 1 Gb of free disk space on each volume if volume size is more than 1 Gb (0x80780119)
