What i love about this is that this is literally such a cheap DIY project, give tips like using painters tape without the need for clamps, no planers, joiners, just straight up skill and patience. Respect
Thank you soo much, appreciate that, That was the main purpose, people stops because of not having fancy tools.. That's why I showed, even with simple tools you can make anything if you want to!! (Of course not saying about engineering works) lol
"Here is an easy DIY: -Step 1: turn on your industrial sized router table next to your wire saw and your 20inch $4,000 planer." You know the guy is out of your league if they don't have a single speck of saw dust in their video.
You can make a trip to harbor freight and get a jig saw and drill for a total of $40. I built a Sim rig for Sim racing and drifting and with having no wood skills it came out amazing. Diy doesn't have to be a hand saw and screwdriver.
i know DIY is not meant to be done only with hand saw or screw drivers... it was done for the people who thinks power tools are compulsory do build any diy project. i have my basic power tools .. but i tried to show even you have these hand tools.. you can build this too!! without any hesitation or must buy some power tools.. no offense brother, purpose is different of this video. :) and i love to see your SIM racing setup.. even i am gona make it too.. its in the pipeline :)
I also made a table for myself a year ago, the wood was cut in a store to the size I needed, and the only tools I had to buy were wood drills. I borrowed a drill and an electric jigsaw from friends. The hardest thing for me was putting it all together in a small apartment. Spent $30-40 on all materials
Big thumbs up for an honest video. An actual DIY project with no nonsense like, "now I'll run it through my $3000 planer," or "Just use this biscuit joiner... links in the description!" .
lol i dont have any planer or professional power tools or a garage full of industrial tools 🤣 it just comes like this from local dealers. even i can select the quality and straight ones..

Very nice DIY, very neat, plain and simple in a very good way. This is how real men do woodworks, no extra machine cutting and other slow-mo camera effects. More power 👍👏
Great video thanks for sharing. Getting back to making our own stuff instead of giving Wally World all our money for junk is a big goal of mine, very inspiring!

Hey man, great project. Super cool to see a very practical/affordable DIY on RUclips for once. I have just one constructive piece of advice. Don't loop the one piece of "hard rock" royalty free music throughout the entire video. There's a lot of royalty free music out there, but even better than that RUclips won't demonetize or strike most video game music. Sometimes it's even okay to just let the video breathe and not have ANY MUSIC after you've let the song play through once or twice. Looping the same song, especially a simple one, is effing obnoxious.
Thank you Ashley.. for the comment... And apologies for the looping music on the whole video... This video was made and uploaded in a hurry. So lots of time was consumed in the making of this table and capturing this video and editing... So uploading it as earliest made me use this music as my first one to get online as soon as possible. In other videos I tried something different and hopefully will do the voiceover in future too.. :) thanks again and apologies too 🙏🏻
Hahaha such a refreshing video from my country where i can easily access all these tools and equipments. Otherwise the fancy things aren't just made here so always had trouble finding the rights stuff for my table. Thank you dude
Thankyou brother... im glad you liked it...! this table is build to hold 3 monitor setup with 2 PCs each on either sides, the right and left side of under the table is designed to hold the PCs.
The table turned out quite good, it looks good. A year ago I made myself an ordinary rectangular table to replace the awkward corner one, and spent 30-40 dollars on it. As a tabletop I used a wall from an old cabinet, which I got for free, and assembled a frame from 50x50mm wood. My table came out good in my opinion, but I still didn’t think through some aspects or they appeared after assembly and some of them cannot be changed without additional investments
I also have an idea to make a new table, which will be corner, but more comfortable, I’m thinking of using metal as the frame material, but this is in case one of my friends has a welding machine, and also buy a cheap kitchen countertop as a table surface
Thanks man.!! i appreciate that... well obviously you have to add a tiny amount of investment into it, if you are using some used or saved materials.. even thought after 30- 40 dollars, i bet i must be better than prebuilds ones, coz its custom made according to your need and space.. i endorse everyone to better build it then buying costly ones, it's just a basic table, no rocket science in these stuff lol. ones again glad a have a fellow DIY guy here. i hope i iwll be able to help in future.. :) REMEMBER: Embrace the imperfections.!! :) thank you
Metal frames are good and sturdy, but it will surely cost you a lot then wood ones. but if you know how to weld clean, and cost is no issue. then GO for it.!!
thanks man!! its 96'' inches by 30'' inches table top, with 6 feet by 2 feet long base, and 31'' inch height with 2 inch wheels. yess it's deep enough to have a perfect view of monitor and have enough space to have all the peripherals.. check the 2nd video where i made a desk shelf and still have plenty of space. :)
Thank you for this awesome DIY! I recently did my own PC build and have a temporary desk that doesn't fit my "Cyberpunk 2077" theme. This is going be a perfect way for me to get the kind of desk i want with custom lighting and colours etc. I cant wait to build it! So glad your video came up in my feed! New subscriber here!
It's Great to hear that.. Go for it!!!! Thanks brother Love to see the results & I'll put RGB lights too in the upcoming desk setup. Thank you for subscribing ❤️
Great Video. Definitely using this and adding some extras. For those who don't have tools, it's just because you choose not to have them. You could if you wanted to. I'm not a full time carpenter, but I invest in my tools to make projects I want/need. I'm not a mechanic either, but I invest in tools I want/need to not have to pay labor costs and be able to keep my car in working condition at minimal costs. It'sa choice. Man up to said choices.
Actually, been wanting to get into some simple woodworking as a hobby. This might be the sort of project I try to do down the line after some practice and learning.
Start your hobby brother.. if you think a lot it will stuck as a never ending project.. it's that simple that you only need to cut straight by hands. (Patience is required only) Lol And thanks man !!
Thanks mate.!!! It was on purpose, otherwise people wouldn't start making it until they got every fancy tool & a workshop. I'm glad you liked it .. thanks again ! More on the way
This is exactly what I've been wanting to do, and you just inspired me to go for it anyway, instead of me overthinking everything lol. Im definitely liking and subscribing for sure. Thanks for the inspiration 😊
Overthinking stops the process every time!!! Just go for it brother ! I'm here to help anytime... Have a look at my other projects too when u finish building.. have fun and thank you!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
thank you brother...Glad it was helpful! build it with (no power tools and heavy machinery) was the main purpose :) only patience is required... go for it bro..!!
You definitely didn't make it easy on yourself. That many screws aren't required with all the glue (for those considering their wallets). Very nice job though. Someone send this man a circular saw and impact driver at least please.
lol thanks a lot man..!! :D that was intentionally made on purpose, Without power tools..!! so people who have basic household tools can build this too. that amount of screw were used for solid rigidity, they are very cheap :D once again thank you!! i already have jigsaw and some power tools lol
@@LEOKHAN oh haha! That makes it even more awesome then! A lot of people like to make excuses, I for one am a sucker for all the tools and toys. This proves hard work and patience pays off. Very inspirational!
Now you got my point.. exactly!! no excuses if no power tools.. if u wana build it .. just build it.. :D that was the purpose.. im glad you liked it.. i appreciate that a lot !!! thanks again man..
Very nice. Even the cable management is better than a lot of store bought desks. Plenty of room left to add you own drawers or a mount to sit the PC under the desk. I'm sure it's a very satisfying desk to sit at.
Thanks buddy!!! I'm glad you liked it!! Yes it is designed to be used with lots of space on top & bottom, 2 PCs can be mount on both sides & drawers too.. lots of things are on the way... Stay tuned for the setup!
Gotta be careful with that though. You could end up like me and start dealing with Carpal Tunnel. Screwing stuff in like that by hand just isn’t worth it. I do give you props for predrilling though it’s usually not necessary for soft woods like white pine.
yes it is not necessary.. but it keeps the pine safe of cracking at the end and it keeps it aligned too. and these screwing stuff by hand is for those who don't have power tools available..not every body / newbie have to buy power tools just to start building these stuff. :) motivation is necessary
Thank you brother 🙏🏻 No bro, I didn't add anything... In the end I just cleaned it properly with wipes & after snap/clapped the light did it's job coz one side is glossy & one side is matt ...
Awesome video and really easy to follow. I was curious why didn’t you go with 2x2 beam instead of joining two 2x1? (My assumptions of the dimensions might be wrong but I hope you got the point. An answer to that would be highly appreciated.
Good question..! i used 2x1s instead of 2x2s because of 2 reasons.. 1st is, it will be lightweight and structure will be sleeker, and 2nd less usage of wood will make it cost effective. 2x1 makes it like a lego to assemble easily. we can surely build it with 2x2s too i hope i was able to make you understand the purpose behind. :) cheers man thanks for watching.. stay tuned for more !
Thanks brother....Glad you liked it....!!!! It's a general size of 15 or 16 mm board. And all other dimensions & materials are in the description too.. ✌🏼
of course brother scrap is free... u made it 30 years ago.. how old are you!! i hope its serving you still.. and i made a riser / stand too.. check the other video :)
Great video for a basic utility build. One warning. If you are renting or married this method will get glue on your floors..so please be careful lol. Great video
Fantastic video!! I'm close to move out from my parents house and the only thing left to buy was a desk but none of the available ones in the market complied with my expectations. This handmade definitely does!!! It's very easy to made it. Thanks for the video!
That is awesome! I'm glad that it suits your needs & expectations!!! Yes it is very easy to make.. go for it..! With some patience lol. You are welcome brother
Thanks man!! well for moving to another room.. i've used some Caster wheels.. for completely disassembling it we have you use bolts and nuts, or hinges. its very light weight, moves very freely on wheels. :)
Right now I need to build a desk for my PC in village house for this summer. Looking for ideas. Looks like corporate spyware algorhytms brought down on me your video. Looks kinda possible for me. Now, let's watch it til end. UPD: - I made my gaming stuff by myself! - Boo, poor loser! - It's custom made gaming device. *wojack smile* - Wooah!
Thanks man!!! Yes I was thinking to make some holes.. but in the end I changed my mind because in future I will switch to all wireless peripherals.. Thanks again brother!!
very good, but I had to make a hole for the cables to go under the table, I didn't like the cable management. In general, it is good, I will try to make it myself
Thanks brother.. Yes you can make a hole for your cables. I personally don't like to drill table tops, its just a personal preference.. Go for it brother I hope you'll enjoy the process, it only needs patience... Thanks again 👍🏻
thank you brother.. appreciate that!!! yes i was thinking to chose matt finish but the glossy one is easy to repair if scratched, just by polishing it.. thanks again & stay tuned for more :) minimal setup is getting upgraded...
Nobody is better than any one brother don't compare, everybody is unique, and with different talents, And you can do this too... It's just an old school & basic way of building it. Try it :)
🤜🏻🤛🏻 you are very welcome brother!! I appreciate that and am happy to know that it helped you.. yes that was the main purpose to build it without any fancy tools.. have fun building it 🤗
If I would've seen a video like this last year, it would've saved me about $200 dollars instead of the one my wife bought off the web. I could've built her a better one than the one she found on the interweb.
Looks sweet bro. Wish I had the space to build this in my house. I have small deck in wheels for my gaming setup dybbleing up as my studio and editing desk.
Nice desk. The frame is what I'm going to do, with some modification(s). I have 4 systems on my desk (servers and stuff). Going to build a rack under one end to hold them. Current desk is a solid core door 80" wide x 32" deep. With a copy of your build and my additions, I think it'd clean things up quite a bit. thank you
Thanks man.. yes go for it.. basically i made it to hold 2 systems under on each sides and you can add 2 more on top too.. your solid core door is perfect for holding all the weight easily & you can add 2 drawers too each side.. i could have build it more cleaner then this.. but i had to kill my (Perfectionism OCD) a bit in this project and Failed to succeed LOL hope you'll enjoy building it .. thanks again. !
I've watched this video about 10 times. My 15 year old boy and I are planning on building it this summer. I do have a miter saw that I'll use for the cuts cause I'm .. well, lazy. the one question I do have is where do you get that cable duct? I've looked at my local hardware store and on Amazon and can't find one similar to what you have there ..
I'm pleased to hear that..!!! thanks man..!! i hope your son will enjoy the building and learning process... & he will succeed hopefully with you.! :) well if you have power tools like miter saw, then it's even more a quick process.. but as a 15 year old boy, let him cut some by hands too with full safety.. he must try to cut basic straight cuts.. he'll enjoy it :D well about those cable ducts.. you won't find it on Amazon or small hardware store, these are commercially use products, that are very cheap and i think you can find it from a store who deals in commercial products or a wholesale hardware dealer, i bought it from a wholesaler who only deals in Cable ducts only. i don't know where you from brother.. but you have to search in a bigger hardware store or a wholesaler .. i hope you'll find it soon otherwise you can build a duct from 1x2 and 1x4s lumber or plywood too...
@@LEOKHAN Thanks for the info about he cable ducts. I'm in West Michigan. We have a lot of big box stores (Home Depot, Menards, Lowes) but I'm sure I can either fashion something or find something that's not quite as inexpensive but still useable. My next problem is finding a laminated MDF board! haha - silly inflation making everything not cheap! Appreciate the feedback! I'll probably build a variation of your desk shelf as well. I just need to figure out the desk first! And yes, I have used hand tools to do some stuff with my boys already (I have three). They can do some basic hand tool stuff. Can't hurt to keep that muscle memory!
you are welcome brother.. well those Stores must have these cheap things.. they usually have everything available.. i wonder why that's not available easily there.. ill try to find for you.. hahaha the MDF and inflation problem is growing very high lol specially the Laminated ones...! i think they have banned the chinese suppliers, or stop production locally, otherwise they were easily available everywhere.. i suggest, build it with what's easily and cheaply available to you locally, plywood + veneer will do the job for table top instead of Mdf if not available. just don't buy the ikea Cardboard table tops lol. and yes the Desk shelf.. !!! man that was dirt cheap.. i build it from scrap material, and i actually build it in 3 variations.. you can check in the end of the video :D it's great to hear that your sons are doing this stuff with you.. you are training them Good !!!!! 🙌 usually kids don't like this stuff.. hats off to you brother. and im available to help here anytime.. stay tuned.. more incoming... ;)

I liked this video on tenacity alone. You guys rock.
Thank you brother..“Thank you for the encouragement.” 🙌
Stay tuned for more!
True meaning of Do it Yourself. Job well done
Thanks brother!
That is a wonderful build! Could you tell us how much weight a table like that is able support? Thanks!
REMEMBER: Embrace the imperfections.!! :) thank you
Metal frames are good and sturdy, but it will surely cost you a lot then wood ones. but if you know how to weld clean, and cost is no issue. then GO for it.!!
NIIIIIIICE!! Thanks,, I'm gonna go for it! Thank for the no nonsense and easy to follow instructions 🙂🙂👍🤟
Have fun buddy...!! and you are most Welcome... hope you will enjoy the process ☺✌
just remember 1 word.. (Patience)
Спасибо за четкую инструкцию себе тоже такой сделаю!!!!
пожалуйста, брат.. наслаждайся процессом
Great job! What are the overall dimensions of the project? I think the distance between the monitor and the viewer is perfect.
thanks man!! its 96'' inches by 30'' inches table top, with 6 feet by 2 feet long base, and 31'' inch height with 2 inch wheels. yess it's deep enough to have a perfect view of monitor and have enough space to have all the peripherals.. check the 2nd video where i made a desk shelf and still have plenty of space.
Thanks brother
Love to see the results & I'll put RGB lights too in the upcoming desk setup.
Thank you for subscribing ❤️
@@LEOKHAN I'm looking forward to seeing your video with RGB!
Very entertaining to watch, and very good looking desk. Will stay tuned for updates
Thank you buddy .. glad u liked it !!
More things on the way !
have a look on a new video..! i hope you'll like it :)
That's great!! Thank you ...
Actually, been wanting to get into some simple woodworking as a hobby. This might be the sort of project I try to do down the line after some practice and learning.
Start your hobby brother.. if you think a lot it will stuck as a never ending project.. it's that simple that you only need to cut straight by hands. (Patience is required only) Lol
And thanks man !!
Respect love the use of hand tools Great job
Thanks mate.!!! It was on purpose, otherwise people wouldn't start making it until they got every fancy tool & a workshop.
I'm glad you liked it .. thanks again !
More on the way
These drills are indestructible
Haha yesss!! Bosch power 💪🏻😂
You might’ve inspired me to get rid of my current desk and make my own! How much do you think this weighs?
Yesss goo for it!! All you need is little patience & in the end,
It's Gona worth it.!!
Don't know the exact weight but it's very lite because of 1x2s.
new project uploaded :)
Oh wow! --> a simplified build --> Superb!
Thank you!
Love this set to cool and simple you only need basic tools! my mego also insipired to build with his school money
Thanks brother yes. This is the purpose of building only with basic tools.
Nice one! You show that people don't need all the dewalt or milwakee setup to make great things.
Absolutely brother... That was the main purpose of this video... Thank you !!!!!
It turned out better than what I expected. Good job.
Thanks thanos!! 🙏🏻
good ol ducktape and super glue trick never fails to come in clutch xD
lol the ultimate solution !!
Lovely desk! I'm currently trying to design my own to build it and by far your video has been the most informative (without the heavy machinery.)
thank you brother...Glad it was helpful!
build it with (no power tools and heavy machinery) was the main purpose :)
only patience is required... go for it bro..!!
You definitely didn't make it easy on yourself. That many screws aren't required with all the glue (for those considering their wallets). Very nice job though. Someone send this man a circular saw and impact driver at least please.
lol thanks a lot man..!! :D that was intentionally made on purpose,
Without power tools..!!
so people who have basic household tools can build this too.
that amount of screw were used for solid rigidity, they are very cheap :D
once again thank you!! i already have jigsaw and some power tools lol
Dear god once i saw the hand saw i understood
Crazy I’m actually doing something very similar. I’m also using a hand saw, and a very limited space. Excellent work he did!
@@LEOKHAN I shall...👍
have a look on the new project..!! i hope you'll like it.. thanks
Such a refreshing diy video. Think I might build this for my butcher block desktop I have
Go for it brother!!! you are gona enjoy the process.. :)
and thank you!!
amazing work. I'm not an expert, but I recommend having a ph2 drill bit for your drill so you don't get tired when installing those screws.
Yes I know brother, it was made on purpose with basic household tools.
Good for forearms workout lol 😂
@@LEOKHAN Ah ok 😂
Gotta be careful with that though. You could end up like me and start dealing with Carpal Tunnel. Screwing stuff in like that by hand just isn’t worth it. I do give you props for predrilling though it’s usually not necessary for soft woods like white pine.
yes it is not necessary.. but it keeps the pine safe of cracking at the end and it keeps it aligned too.
and these screwing stuff by hand is for those who don't have power tools available..not every body / newbie have to buy power tools just to start building these stuff. :) motivation is necessary
Thats one sturdy table for a computer set up
Yes rigid from all sides..
Thanks man!!
Looks great. How did you get the top so glossy at the end? after you snap/clapped the top appears much better. did you add anything?
Thank you brother 🙏🏻
No bro, I didn't add anything...
In the end I just cleaned it properly with wipes & after snap/clapped the light did it's job coz one side is glossy & one side is matt ...
This looks awesome since i am thinking of moving my computer to another room to avoid my father's nosiness. This video makes me feel hopeful.
Go for it brother, you are gonna enjoy the end result!! & I'm glad you liked it,
thank you....!! Here to help any time
Great job, looks fantastic. Very clean and sleek.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it.. cheers
Thats what DIY is......super cool god bless you❤
Thank you brother.. May God bless you too ❤️😇
Awesome video and really easy to follow.
1st is, it will be lightweight and structure will be sleeker,
and 2nd less usage of wood will make it cost effective.
2x1 makes it like a lego to assemble easily. we can surely build it with 2x2s too
i hope i was able to make you understand the purpose behind. :) cheers man thanks for watching.. stay tuned for more !
@@LEOKHAN awesome, that makes sense. I’ll attempt this for sure.
yes plz do..!! love to see the end results..! only 1 thing is needed.. (Patience) :)
Awesome build! Out of curiosity, what was the thickness of the laminated mdf board?
Thanks brother....Glad you liked it....!!!!
It's a general size of 15 or 16 mm board. And all other dimensions & materials are in the description too.. ✌🏼
THIS! is what I actually need! Thank you for inspiring.
You're so welcome brother..!!! glad you liked it.! have fun building it... cheers
I made a desk quite a bit like that from scrap 30 years ago for basically nothing. Even had a riser for my CRT.
of course brother scrap is free... u made it 30 years ago.. how old are you!!
i hope its serving you still.. and i made a riser / stand too.. check the other video :)
Great video for a basic utility build. One warning. If you are renting or married this method will get glue on your floors..so please be careful lol. Great video
Thanks man !!
Lol yes I cleaned it many times while building it.. but it easily scrapped off.
Thanks again brother 🙏🏻
respect. honest n simple.
Thank you brother ! ♥️
Awesome video, loved everything about it!!!!
Can wait to see more diy ideas!🔥
Where did you get the MDF board?
Glad you liked it!! have a look on my latest project :) more on the way..
from a Wholesale dealer of Mdf boards, cant find it in hardware stores at that price.
Great Project! Enjoyed Watching the video, without need of building a desk!
Glad you liked it! Thank you very much!
Very nice. This is a good project for my son and I. Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
my wrist hurts watching you use that screwdriver lol. awesome video i will definitely try this
Haha a good forearm workout bro 😂
Thanks man.. go for it, I hope you'll enjoy building it..
Simple and very good work, an inspiration for who are about to try
i'd say other than the table, love to see the one piece mousepad
Looks great!!! Would be great if you added something to easily disassembling it in case you want to move the table to another room. Awesome job.
Thanks man!!
well for moving to another room.. i've used some Caster wheels..
for completely disassembling it we have you use bolts and nuts, or hinges.
its very light weight, moves very freely on wheels. :)
GREAT work, and idea! I think my build will be very much based on this design you built. Thank you for sharing. 🙂👍🏻
THANK YOU !!!!!!
Go for it.. hopefully you are enjoy building it, Have fun cheers..
Very nice job and so simple steps and tools! You deserve my sub mister ! Bravo!
Thank you very much dear,
your appreciation means a lot!!
...stay tuned for more :)
Looks like a thousand bucks 👌👍
Looks good and with a minimum of lumber and equipment as promised!
Thanks brother
Super good l❤it ....looking for more informative videos like this one 🎉
Glad you liked it.. more are on the way... Thank you!!
Right now I need to build a desk for my PC in village house for this summer. Looking for ideas. Looks like corporate spyware algorhytms brought down on me your video.
Looks kinda possible for me.
Now, let's watch it til end.
UPD:
- I made my gaming stuff by myself!
- Boo, poor loser!
- It's custom made gaming device. *wojack smile*
- Wooah!
grats brother u gained a new subs !
Awesome !! thank you Brother !!
Sick but u need some cable management holes on the desk to streamline it better otherwise sick
Thanks man!!! Yes I was thinking to make some holes.. but in the end I changed my mind because in future I will switch to all wireless peripherals..
Thanks again brother!!
4:24 Let's Make it Rigid, Umm bring in that tool. I own it. LOL Love Rigid tools
Thank you brother 🙏🏻
Freaking awesome !! even though I have more than basic power tools. I found this video extremely enjoyable.
Glad you enjoyed it!!!!! Thanks brother
I love this channel!!😆
thankyou !!! 😂
I have a similar plan in place for a gaming L-Desk but it uses 2x2s for legs
That's perfect too!!! I tried to save some lumber and cost with 1x2s.. :)
A nice L desk, 30" tall and shelves everywhere.
Thank you!
Exactly what i was looking for. Brother is just built different, like this table lmfao.
"Just run it through a planer"
Me: 🗿
Hahaha You are welcome! Glad it was helpful, you are gonna see a lot of more different things in upcoming video 😂
Loveit, is the first real wood built with really basic tools!
Thanks man!!! appreciate that!!
very good, but I had to make a hole for the cables to go under the table, I didn't like the cable management. In general, it is good, I will try to make it myself
Thanks brother..
Yes you can make a hole for your cables. I personally don't like to drill table tops, its just a personal preference..
Go for it brother I hope you'll enjoy the process, it only needs patience...
Thanks again 👍🏻
Cool build brother
Loving it
Very inspiring indeed
Glad you like it
Thanks brother 👍🏼
It came out great at the end. The minimal setup is eye pleasing. I'd say the table top is a bit too glossy, nice color though.
thank you brother.. appreciate that!!!
yes i was thinking to chose matt finish but the glossy one is easy to repair if scratched, just by polishing it.. thanks again & stay tuned for more :)
minimal setup is getting upgraded...
Nice job man. Should be appreciated by the ones below. Congrats...
Thankyou brother..!! 🙌
I know what I’m doing this weekend!!
Shia LaBeouf says.. yes you can!!! "Just Do It" 😂
Youre a better man than me. Im finding an electric saw or whatever. Borrowing, buying, idc. Not doing it by hand
Nobody is better than any one brother don't compare, everybody is unique, and with different talents,
And you can do this too...
My bad..... Apologies brother for building it this late 😂 I'm glad you liked it..thanks for the comment.!!
Looks amazing
Thanks brother!!
Looks sweet bro. Wish I had the space to build this in my house. I have small deck in wheels for my gaming setup dybbleing up as my studio and editing desk.
Thanks bro!!! Thanks a lot..... yes it all depends on the space you got.. but you can still customise this according to your space..
Great looking table and simple design. Thanks for sharing! I watched it on mute, the music was giving me a headache, just fyi.
sorry about that music..i was in a hurry to upload lol
thank you for watching.!!
Nice desk. The frame is what I'm going to do, with some modification(s). I have 4 systems on my desk (servers and stuff). Going to build a rack under one end to hold them. Current desk is a solid core door 80" wide x 32" deep. With a copy of your build and my additions, I think it'd clean things up quite a bit. thank you
Thanks man.. yes go for it.. basically i made it to hold 2 systems under on each sides and you can add 2 more on top too.. your solid core door is perfect for holding all the weight easily & you can add 2 drawers too each side.. i could have build it more cleaner then this.. but i had to kill my (Perfectionism OCD) a bit in this project and Failed to succeed LOL
hope you'll enjoy building it .. thanks again.
well if you have power tools like miter saw, then it's even more a quick process..
but as a 15 year old boy, let him cut some by hands too with full safety.. he must try to cut basic straight cuts.. he'll enjoy it :D
well about those cable ducts.. you won't find it on Amazon or small hardware store,
these are commercially use products, that are very cheap and i think you can find it from a store who deals in commercial products or a wholesale hardware dealer,
i bought it from a wholesaler who only deals in Cable ducts only.
i don't know where you from brother.. but you have to search in a bigger hardware store or a wholesaler .. i hope you'll find it soon
otherwise you can build a duct from 1x2 and 1x4s lumber or plywood too...
Can't hurt to keep that muscle memory!
you are welcome brother..
well those Stores must have these cheap things.. they usually have everything available.. i wonder why that's not available easily there.. ill try to find for you..
hahaha the MDF and inflation problem is growing very high lol
specially the Laminated ones...! i think they have banned the chinese suppliers, or stop production locally, otherwise they were easily available everywhere..
i suggest, build it with what's easily and cheaply available to you locally,
plywood + veneer will do the job for table top instead of Mdf if not available. just don't buy the ikea Cardboard table tops lol.
and yes the Desk shelf.. !!! man that was dirt cheap.. i build it from scrap material, and i actually build it in 3 variations.. you can check in the end of the video :D
it's great to hear that your sons are doing this stuff with you.. you are training them Good !!!!! 🙌 usually kids don't like this stuff.. hats off to you brother.
and im available to help here anytime.. stay tuned.. more incoming... ;)
How do you cut straight wirh a hand saw. I always ens up drifting away from the mark
slow n steady cuts by Marking the lines and then following them...
i use to have same problem of drifting away from the lines..
