who else noticed the repeat: 5:38 love your videos keep up great work!
was looking to see if anyone else noticed lol
What repeat, the item?
So you can illuminate your wall with some color, and brighten your desktop at the same time.
So you can illuminate your wall with some color, and brighten your desktop at the same time.
Yeah I think it may be a RUclips thing cause I’ve seen this glitch in other videos
prob meant to trim it, but then got mixed up on if he trimmed before or after saying it so it got repeated.
This channel is such a great source of ideas on getting the room very practical and aesthetically pleasing. I'm still a long way off from perfecting things but even now I really enjoy the experience of just being in my room; especially since I share a house with grown who won't clean up after themselves (yes, I've asked them to do so on several occasions), and generally don't care what their living space looks like. My room has become a haven. Everyone of these videos is just pure inspiration.
The magic erasers / melamine foam are light abrasives for those that don’t know. They work great on most things but imo worth keeping in mind as it can change the gloss or matte finish of some materials. Test in an inconspicuous area before going full send
Yes, especially dont use it on monitors. Same goes for alcohol/ the clorox wipes (if they are alcohol based idk)
also doesnt work on silicone/tire sealant... just found out
Yeah, they are basically a super high grit sandpaper.
Anything glossy will lose its shine, and over time it will wear through paint/finish on things.
I’ve been using them to clean my white shoes for years now idk why more people don’t talk abt them
Unmarked ones can be bought at approx. 10% of the Mr. Clean ones btw
Never even knew that those magnetic cable ties were even a thing. That's definitely something I'm getting very soon as I have so many places I can use them. Also didn't even think of using some green masking tape to temporarily 'mask' something so viewers won't be able to see it. Very creative and a cheap way to improve the viewer experience. Love the ideas you are pumping out on this channel Frank!
Im so glad you made this video. I’ve been using an old wooden dinnertable(180x75cm) in my bedroom as a home office/gaming setup, but sometimes it’s hard to make the desk look clean and organized. Since it’s in my bedroom and my livingroom is next to it with an open space connecting the two rooms, I don’t want it to be too gaming-like. I adore the wood, and that my bedroom still feels like home instead of a lab. And I prettymuch attach, drill and saw my table to add or remove things and I thought that would be possible with a solid gaming desk. Now that you’ve shown this, I could keep the wooden look and still be very versitile if I buy this. Thank you 🙏🏼
This was awesome man, thanks for all the work you do!
I've legit been looking for something like that acrylic rack thing for a long time! I don't have much space depth-wise but I definitely have a lot of vertical space. You've ended my loooong search. I insta-bought after watching this.
They're relatively pricey compared to similar options but the Rubber Gear Ties from the brand Nite Ize are hands down my favorite solution for cable management. They're strong enough to hold down even the most stubborn cables and they have so many applications, you're really only limited by your creativity. I'm definitely going to pick up some of the magnetic ties you showed too, those look just as fun to work with.
Bro, I needed this video. Appreciate your work man, keep it up.
Damn now were getting notes and fun facts in the videos?! That's great, nice video, the subtle differences are well received
Something I really like is fabric cable bundle sleeving, it’s not as rigid as a cable chain/spine but cleans up bundles of cables nicely while still looking pretty alright
Amazing video RandomFrankP! Try to do more these it would be a cool series dude if you can. Keep it going champ! 🥇
I have that exact cable spine thing, definitely a must have for standing desks.
Glad to see you back, Frank! ❤
Love this type of Video! Please keep doing more stuff like this. Thanks
Love your videos man! Keep up the awesome work!
Great to see you back in the groove Frank!
I have the original Carpio model (without the strap) and it definitely takes getting used to, but once I did I love it! I never used to move my arm much when gaming but this thing gives me way more range of motion. It's a good deal for the price.
I have a G2.0 and after getting used to it I love it. LOVE IT.
I love this series it always gives you inspiration.
Loved this one. Great helpful tips. Thanks
Great video! Great quality! You are soooo underrated.
Loved this hopefully this can be a new series 🎉
These are some serious pro tips. Thank you!!!!
Great episode! Going hunting for topographical keycaps now. Thanks
Step 1 : HAVE MONEY
Step one get a job and get off your ass like i am at 18 making $22 n hour bringing home $700 every Thursday
Facts 😂
love the setup content, Frank!
Love that see through 3 tier shelf definitely going on my list
Some of these are killer and really affordable! I'll consider adding them to my first desk setup i'm working on. Cheers!
I got the desk pegboard a while back, its dope for sure 👍
A lot of great ideas in this one!
Love the carpio, it makes a big difference on long game sessions especially for someone like me who’s a wrist Aimer
gonna definitely cop some of those magnetic cable ties. while i might use them for cable management later on, i’m moving rn and i want to organize my chargers and tie them up. i’ve gotten into the habit of buying more quality cables recently, especially Anker brand, and they come with a velcro strap that holds it together and i went to target to find some but they didn’t have any! perfect timing with this video thank you algorithm. also gonna check out that monitor lamp and i’ve been thinking about getting the carpio wrist rest for gaming.
I bought the normal monitor light a few weeks back without seeing this or the other video.
I am super impressed.
I've been using the spine couple years now with electric table, great product
Nice thoughts! Thanks Frank!
Les go frank with the back to back vids I love ur vids
hi i love your videos and am so happy to be this early on one of your videos please keep up the youtube and we will support for ever -your #1 fan
OMG I never thought of that with the green tape. I am so gonna do that to my mic :D thank you for the Idea
Glad to see you back!
Those arm rests look amazing, definitely getting added to my wishlist.
Great tips! love the tape at the end! well done! :))))
I'll vouch for the slidepad and carpio. I've used something similar to it for my desk for a few months and even though it does take some time to get use to it but it does give that extra comfort whenever i use my mouse for extended periods. I havent use mine for gaming tho because the one i use have noticeably more friction to it than my mouse. overall tho it's really great
If you like the pegboard idea, IKEA x ROG have one with a gamer aesthetic, but most importantly the option to purchase some dedicated peripheral mounts. I combined those with some magnetic tool/knife holding strips from harbor freight. It's perfect
A similar item to the first one shown is used in industrial applications when you need to cable manage Ethernet, air lines, electrical wire etc to machinery that moves. Robots and injection molding machines are a couple examples
Whaaaaaaat those magnet cable ties are sick!!
That tape is the best! Thank you idol!
those cables at #2 are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the Metal Face shirt!
My wife got me into those magic erasers and boy they are amazing! Very useful 👌🏼
the magnetic ties are mind blowing!
Nice to see you back
Nice job
Thx by shared!!!
product 2 is absolutely amazing
Glad to see someone else still playing bf4
Good video Frank!. Id love to see more of these! Also could you show us(/me) a budget friendly customizable/hotswap mechanical keyboard? I want to get into that but not break the bank and I am wondering if there is something possible for around 80 to 100 bucks(EU)
Those magnetic ties are awesome
We need more of these
7:34 MANS FLEXING HIS MEZE 109 PRO
Holy fricken hell do I want those headphones so bad. They're just so gorgeous!
Okay the green tape for the mic is genius! I'm surprised more people don't do this.
I have this acrylic desk organizer. Because I own so many mice it houses all of mine. You can do 4 per shelf. (I don't recommend using the top of it. Just like FrankP said)
So in total you can fit around 16 if you use the front pockets. I do have several keebs but don't swap them enough to use the organizer for keebs. 😂
What is it called and where can you get it online
5:27 i thought you gonna start rolling man 🤣
Love, the tips and now my amazon cart is full. lol
OMG broooooo the masking tape is so clever
Just got the Elgato Stream Deck + its awsome
I missed your videos man!
wow this helped alot
You're the man!
Last hack was insane!
I like the pegboard idea, and want to get a full on attached-to-the-desk pegboard, not wall mounted. I can't put holes in the wall, so it would have to be on the desk, and would like to be able to have it hold my two monitors. I know IKEA has some hooks, but those won't work on my desk, as the clamps wouldn't fit (really old school 6 ft table, with really large support underneath on the edge). So, still working on that.
haha That tape tip is clutch!
Thank you
The best thing in this video is that tshirt. Didn’t know you listen to Doom. 👍🏽
Def need the magnet ties for sure
I use the magnetic cable ties in the kitchen, use them to close up bags and such
That tape is specifically called gaffers tape, not masking tape. Quite possibly the best tape in existence, it has a cloth like feel to it, it tears from the roll easily, and leaves no sticky residue when removed. It’s used all over the world in movie studios, plays, etc.
wiener gravy wiener gravy
omg hes back!!! lets go
My desk is a mess, definitely picking up some of these
Those magnet loops look clutch
Like the green type thanks
Am I able to illuminate the wall with some color and brighten my desktop at the same time ?
hey frank thank you for this great video. Where can I get one of these damascus touchpad for my PS5 controller
Reusable cable ties will change everything for me!
Its what you get for camping! 😂 Love the green screen hack.
The green tape is an amazing idea.
Was wondering what desk you have there in the showcase of the RGB Lamp? would love it if you could link me something similar. I'm moving in a month and am rebuilding my setup
love the shirt!!!
The green tape is super clever
This video was nice
Damn, that Last one is so simple, yet so clever😂
Very good video. Would anyone happen to know what desk mat that is?
Hey @randomfrankp I was wondering if you had a solution for charging cables for wireless peripherals. I was thinking something like a retractable system that you can mount somewhere and pull them out as needed
the green tape tech was my favorite part lol
what watch are you wearing at 7:20 when you were typing, looks super clean!
One suggestion from me is get a Grovemade type desk shelf (dont get the Grovemade one bc its too expensive) They do a great job at hiding monitor stands and cables to give the floating look.
Why’d you say get the grove made one then say don’t get it cause it’s too expensive???
Examples?
The last one is really usable
Sick doom T 🎉🎉🎉
I was wondering what speakers those are, and how they are mounted. Is there a video for these. Trying to spice up the new set up.
Magnetic cable ties are awesome ! It's just a shame everything suggested costs so much more in the UK 😢
i have the keyboard tray, i dont use it as a desktop organizer. i use it to more easily store my past keyboards more easily in a cabinet that they know live in. its great and looks much more organized as now they are not sitting on top of each other o willy nilly.
