8:45 For UPS, you only really need one with about an hour of storage unless you plan on plugging a lot of stuff into it. The goal *should be* "alright, powers out, let's just close down the PC safely" and NOT "let's squeeze out some more time on the PC".
This is 100% true, but it should also be mentioned that buying the cheapest UPS you see is also probably not the best idea. A larger, higher quality UPS could offer you better efficiency, saving you some amount of money on electricity. A cheap UPS may not be as reliable, and have a shorter lifespan, or less accessible batteries for replacement. A high quality UPS can offer some peace of mind that it will properly protect any equipment that you plug into it and not burn your entire house down. Some UPS devices offer a few extra features or software that others may lack which help you track power outages, consistency, consumption, etc. I'm not trying to scare anyone into wasting money on a fancy UPS that they don't need, but it's good to keep in mind that you could wind up using the same UPS for decades, replacing the battery every 3-5 years, and it's worth doing some research so that you can be confident in what you're buying. It may be that newer UPS technology will render the current typical models obsolete for some reason or another, but a great brand new UPS right now might only cost you $130-$180 anyway. Also as a quick PSA, make sure you read safety guidelines and don't do anything they explicitly say not to, such as plugging your UPS into a power strip rather than directly into the wall, because that could quite literally start a fire.
Wow great video! As someone who has been learning about all the things that matter for an at home set-up, I have had to learn expensive lessons and you just summed up everything I learned on my own. I like that you focused on the ergonomics of a setup instead of the look of a setup. While having a super clean and aesthetician setup can be great, it's not as great as a comfortable setup. Keep up the good work.
Even if you click the scroll wheel, you’d still need to use up and down wrist movement for it to actually scroll infinitely, which still stresses the wrist at some point, unlike having your actual mouse scroll to infinitely scroll, no wrist movement is required but only the fingers.

I don't think I could handle two monitors, but I love the idea of the infinite scroll wheel. It would totally speed up my PowerPoint presentations. Btw, I already need to buy the product key, any tips??
To save on money, you can get a smaller desk and get a desk extender for cheaper that can clamp on to the front part of your desk, most of them let you fold them as well when you don’t want to use it. I have been using one for over a year and it has helped me gain that extra space for placing my elbows while gaming/productivity. Never had any carpal issues because of this
@Silver-yp4ii , I use pgdn and end buttons, and I think it's much better than infinite scroll. Because infinite scroll is too fast, I've used it only as slow home/end button or scroll to a random place on the page

Fan-bloody-tastic video! I very much appreciate you talking about ergonomics as while I’m now nearing old-man status (mid 40s so not quiiiite there), I know I need to account a LOT more for that than in the past. Also I’ve never actually known what level to have my monitor at to allow for lack of neck strain, so I very much appreciate that info. Subscribed as I love your editing & FX, and want to help support that!
A lot of great suggestion and very informative. Thank you! One thing I'd like to say about the mouse infinite scroll wheel, that is a nice feature to have, but not the necessary considering most browsers and GUIs support clicking the middle mouse button and then you can move the mouse up down left right and control your scroll rate as u prefer. I don't have an infinite scroll wheel, but if i want to jump toward the bottom, i just click the middle mouse button, then move the mouse down a ways and it will whip to the bottom, and if you want to ease up you just move the mouse back up a bit and slow down the scroll. I find this gives a lot more control, and no stress of the finger having to scroll on the wheel at all.
Yes, it's not completely necessary, but I personally prefer it over middle click and drag because the infinite scroll is quicker and works in editing programs and many apps. I don't use it just to go top and bottom of websites, most of the time it's normal scrolling with it unlocked so it's faster to find what I'm looking for. Middle click and dragging or page up page down keys aren't as precise. I should've specified more in the video :)

To save on money, you can get a smaller desk and get a desk extender for cheaper that can clamp on to the front part of your desk, most of them let you fold them as well when you don’t want to use it. I have been using one for over a year and it has helped me gain that extra space for placing my elbows while gaming/productivity. Never had any carpal issues because of this
Dude, your editing is amazing. I didn’t think I’d be saying that under a video about work space upgrades, but you did amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
For scrolling : you know you can just click the middle mouse button for infinite scrolling right?
?
It's fairly hard to control in that mode. I don't think anyone would like to use it
@@Yanaro-pi8pt it's DEFINITELY not harder to "control" than a free spinning Logitech mouse wheel lol
@@Funky_Brother except it is super annoying to use
@@Funky_Brotherit definitely is

now i cant over hear it

0:41 you know you can just press the weel to scroll fast?
Lol
Still a very different feeling and purpose/result
Isn't as good as infinite scroll 😊
@Silver-yp4ii , I use pgdn and end buttons, and I think it's much better than infinite scroll. Because infinite scroll is too fast, I've used it only as slow home/end button or scroll to a random place on the page
Don’t forget that the middle click function can be very different from program to program
Randomly got pushed this video, and man. The one time the algorithm did it's job. Amazing quality, fantastic tips, super considerate of different situations. 10/10 video man
Glad you liked this video :)
Dude the edits in this video are awesome, first video I have seen from you but it definitely won't be the last.
the tumbnail is supposed to be the opposite the mouse matters more😭
0:12 WE HAVE THE SAME SETUP
What's the name of the wall light at 3:22??
I gotta repeat what everyone else is saying..editing skills and production are insane! I thought my skills were semi decent but I have a LOT to learn. Totally subscribed
Goddamn man the level of professionalism and editing- from a 62k sub channel is honestly amazing! Loved the video!
stopped watching at infinite scroll wheel
Yeah, I pray for these people to finally be able to locate home/end buttons
Why
It’s ok, he stil got 2mil views
@@CheezeGaming. it's really useless honestly
kindly reminder, stay away from razer product if you're not rich enough to replace your disappointment.
0:55 is excluding wired mice. that invalidates it.
Yea the Logitech G502 hero and stuff like that has it
Definitely one of the best put together videos i've seen in a while! Looking forward to more of your content!
Next one coming soon (finishing edit)
Holy crap... this video is amazing. I love how practical, informative and entertaining it is. Well done! Subscribed.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the old laptop. It’s similar to my Asus back then. Got a PC rn too so it’s good to see a brother on the up and up. Love the video
Great vid bro, very cool and informative! Not even going to ask how many hours you spent making it. You earned yourself a like and a sub.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just discovered your channel with this video, and the production quality is amazing! Great tips and very enjoyable to watch!
Thanks for watching!
Great video.
I have considerd getting a that chair for awhile and your good words have sold it to me.
you just earned yourself another subscriber. The editing and content in this videos is impeccable. Maintain the good work!
Thanks, will do!
#10 is something I learned the hard way. All my previous laptops malfunctioned and eventually died due to power fluctuations. Nobody talks about power fluctuations deteriorating life of power hunngry electronics. I bought Li-ion UPS once I understood the gap. Glad someone finally said it. You got a sub!
Video editing is amazing. 👌❤
Fantastic work! I can tell a lot of time was spent on the effects and editing. It's impressive.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was a great video. Straight to the point and with great visuals. Just what I needed, too! I loved your setup. Might use it as inspiration for mine.
Wasn't expecting this amount of quality and thought put into this. Editing is next level as well, so I'ma sub & hit that noti bell 🔔.
The transparency and truth in this video is something I did not expect from a clickbaity random PC video. Subscribed!
I'm so used to transparent product promotions from everyone on YT these days... so I was pleasantly surprised when this video shared actual useful points of info. Great content!
The tips are solid. But the editing is the highlight of the video. Phenomenal work. Outstanding!
Glad you liked it!
This edit is amazing! Also the content is very good. I’m subscribing because the production value alone.
insane production value in this and the information you provided is excellent! Subbed!!
Dude the way you edit is so smooth and well blending like love it dude hats off man
please do teach us about how to edit to someday
What the actual hell is that level of production... i actually thought i was watching a 10M channel, no joke.
You're insane
Incredible video, thanks for putting so much thought and effort into it! Really helps me get a better sense of upgrades to my space that actually matter.
I just painted my office space green and your keyboard would look AMAZING as it seems to be a TKL type keyboard, which I prefer, and the keycaps are so nice. Would you mind letting us know what base keyboard this is and where you got those custom keycaps? Thanks!
Gosh you don’t find many new creators any more - you were an immediate sub! Keep up the incredible work.
Thank you! Will do!
As a person who also got the motherboard fried from power outage, i feel you. The one i find most interesting is the mouse moving wrist rest, definitely a steep price for just a wrist rest but tempted to try too.
