Ashraff I will definitely do that. There will be one reaction a week until I have seen them all. His videos are so good that I need to have seen them!! Thanks for the support man, really nice comment!
You didnt skip the ads, subbed. You actually react to the video and give your thoughts on it, we need more channels like yours man. You should react to more Internet historian
love your reaction, not overly over the top, not underwhelming. Just honest bullcrappery. Actually watches IH's advertisement, he actually works for days just to make that specialized ad.
My buddy was so hyped for this game. He abandoned our PUBG squad to embark on his Fallout adventure. He was begging to play PUBG with us again after about 3 days.
I've never heard of a game straight up breaking your PC/Console How is that even possible? The game not working, sure. But the game straight up taking the host with it?
It's often a self-handling space problem that literally just stop being efficient cuz of the game being installed. Like having to unplug to turn your console off, some "problems" are a "one in a million", but that is going to happen 20 times if it's "one per ten thousand" and nobody cared enough before launch... Just saying. Not knowing what to do and not having access? That will count as "breaking your PC". Full disclosure: I didn't look into it, but that "no space/unable to do anything unless full reinstall" did happen to a friend and no, it wasn't cuz of Fallout 76, but yes, it was a real person, not a made-up scenario. Moving on, hope it kinda helped to give you an idea.
22:56 i wouldnt even call that a databreach, they straight up left the data open to the public its like placing your wallet on the pavement of your parking spot then getting suprised when someone takes it
You know what is funny about the "we aren't planning on doing anything about it" customer service part? Later on Bethesda said that the employee who sent that was a intern and didn't represent the company as a whole and fired them.
@@EddyZorn nope, heck the employee even anonymously claimed that he was told by his manager to send that reply, but of course we'll never now for sure as he could get fired for telling his.
2:00 I remember hearing its going to be an online survival game and was instantly turned off. I was expecting a mess from the start, but what happened exceeded my wildest imaginations. 4:48 actually no. 99% of licence agreements have a "no warranty" section, basically telling you, that any damage the program does to your hardware, other software or data stored on the device is none of their business. I am not sure how the legality regarding that is, but in the licence agreement you forfeit all rights for damage compensation.
Wrong info, it was a special item that dident come with the game and had to be bought as its own item, it was only sold in America and Got mold from the storage not production... if you want to share horror storys make sure to give the right horrerfying information.
@@leguan278 This is the reason why I always put IIRC before i say things, the last i heard about it was about 9 months ago, I just thought it was funny how one of the worst things wasn't mentioned because the video is too old. It just seems like Bethesda has a company wide contest to see who can f*ck up the worst with every piece of news that comes out about 76, and now Doom too with Denuvo anti-cheat that installs at kernel level(Literally the highest level of access that something can get, it can do whatever it wants) that only got added AFTER reviews already came out and everyone bought the game.
I was a huge mark for Fallout 4. The only reason I didn't pre-order 76 was that it wasn't single player, but I was still planning on buying it after release. I'm so happy I didn't pre-order. I actually got a free copy of it with something I ordered, but I've honestly never opened it. I'm sure the code inside has long since expired.
According to Gamerant: "Bethesda has done an admirable job keeping Fallout 76 up to date and are continually improving issues from launch. Minor quality of life improvements like increasing the amount of items players can store both on them and at CAMP, making it easier to get legendary weaponry, and basic weapon balancing." Might actually worth checking if the code still works if you're into Fallout :P
I'm personally someone who sticks with Nintendo most of the time (which is good since "nearly" all of their games are great... except a few exceptions and a ton of horrible microtransactioned mobile phone games), but man I am glad I don't have to be disappointed by tons of other companies like Bethesda, Activision and EA for example (though a lot of those games I don't really have interest in since I don't enjoy shooters).
It all depends on which kind of games you enjoy most, yeah. I'm way into (MMO)RPG and FPS games so I am kinda stuck to those developers :P Luckily Escape From Tarkov came along :D
Recommend to explore GOG (Good Old Games) where they have good video games that have aged well. Both Fallout 1 and 2 on there, Deus Ex, Vampire The Masquerade, Star wars Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, Roller Coaster Tycoon...list goes on. From the same people who also made CD Projekt Red aka developers of The Witcher series.
Sad to say this is only the proverbial and literal tip of the iceberg here. With all the stuff that's happened since, Internet Historian could possibly make 1 or 2 more videos govering this mess. From the addition of other pay-to-win "convenience" items (and eventually actual lootboxes) before they FINALLY retracted the "cosmetic only" promise, to the incident where Nuka-Cola edition Power Armour helmets were discovered to have dangerous levels of mold in them (admittedly this was all on Gamestop, Bethesda had nothing to do with it. Still incredibly bad optics though). They even tried releasing a $100 A YEAR SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE which was full of features that Bethesda said was impossible (and many of which were bugged on release too, like the scrapbox actually EATING your scrap rather than storing it). They didn't even secure the website for this Fallout First thing, so someone bought it out from under Bethesda and turned the site into a relentless savaging parody called Fallout "Fuck You" First. Even better, this subscription service caused something of a "class war" in the game between players who didn't have it, and those who did
The thing is when he says maybe 76 can get a comeback like no mans sky is that even if they do make a comback it wouldn't really matter. The real problem with Fallout 76 is all the tom fuckery that bethesda has been involved in during the whole story, the negative reputation and loss of trust from the community is something I doubt can ever be recovered from fully, I certainly will never trust bethesda gain.
Ye I'm having trouble trusting some game developers too. Guess most of it will depend on how good the next Elder Scrolls will be though. Most of the time people are very forgiving towards these studio's.
@@EddyZorn True, the Elder Scrolls series is one of Bethesda's original franchises and you know the old saying "Don't shit in your own back yard" and the fact that another company is effectively handling multiplayer for that franchise already means they probably won't butcher it. But there is always the chance considering what we have seen and I wouldn't be surprised if we see some shady dlc or other practice in the next game.
i got this game after most of the issues were fixed and i got it cheap. there wasnt many people playing it and i really had no clue wtf i was supposed to be doing. which is bad when you play a game for hours and still not quite know wtf is going on. did run into a few people helping me out and get started and their main goal was to try and make it appealing to bring people back to the game now that its not as bad as it was but yeah. i havent been back to fallout.
played it at launch for about month and had fun playing it the whole time while only encountered 1 bug which was the stretched dog bug few times and few crashes which is not that unexpected on new game... so maby I was just lucky.
As a Fallout fan (former) they un-sold me as soon as I heard it was multiplayer/ always online, it’s so bad it made me look back on old Fallout experiences and think “were they really that good?”
Did you know about Internet Historian's video on it? I find it more forgivable and I'm actually a bit hyped to get it. The video is one hour long and y'all should check it out cause it gives a reasonable explanation why shit happened the way it did for No Man's Sky.
the next elder scrolls game, i do want that but, yeah, if theres any micro transactions.. absolutely no, im not buying it and im gonna wait atleast a few months to see if the add afterwards, because its not uncommon that companies release a non-transaction game, only to add it in later
I bought the game on day 1 and played it until about level 35-40. it wasn't actually this bad. I think its more of a "everyone on youtube jumping on the hype-train for attention" when it came out than it was the game being THAT broken. if anything the real problem was that there wasn't an end game kind of like when destiny 2 came out.
hey now lets be fair. hello games screwed up because the man just kept talking 2 much instead of working on the game now look where they are they fixed up there problems and till today fallout76 is worse than no mansky

IIRC the power armor helmet that came with the Power Armor edition turned out to have mold in them and where called back a YEAR after the fact.

Hey mate thanks. I appreciate the kind words!
The difference between No Man's Sky and Fallout 76 is that the team behind No Man's Sky accually cared and fixed everything.
