the greatest Minecraft lets play of all time. The consistency is legendary. Etho is a pioneer in Minecraft. He has had the most sustained peak, longer than any other Minecrafter. Honestly, I say etho is the GOAT when it comes to Minecraft.
This and Stampy's Lovely World, I guess it depends on how old you are, a younger person would be more nostalgic and into Stampy's Let's Play rather than someone who was a teen when this series started

Thomas Jackson It may be peaceful but they added too much to it. It all started in the 1.0 update. It strayed away from its notch roots of just having fun in a sandbox building anything you wanted. Now it’s you can do this and that and you need that for that and go there to get this. There should never have been an end to the game. This game was at its greatest when all that mattered was “look at what I built” or “look at my gear”

Take a game like fortnite as well, they made horrible updates and the player base left. This video popped up on suggested and I was very surprised. I just graduated from high school and haven’t watched any Minecraft since the classic fly boys days with bdubs and all the boys. I started watching and in about a minute I was crying, I wasn’t sad, or depressed. But just the realization that I will never be the same 12 year old boy who doesn’t have a care in the world and all he does is hang with friends and play Minecraft. I actually started playing Minecraft in version 1.14.3. Yes, 2019. In 2011, I didn't even know if RUclips existed, if Minecraft existed. I had no internet. Not even mobile data. When I watched Pewdiepie's let's play, I realized how fun Minecraft is. And I started playing it. I feel sad for not knowing that Minecraft was a thing earlier. Press F for respects.

Ethos is adorable in these first episodes! Not the confident person he is in later episodes, just kinda doing his thing, unknowing of how his fanbase will explode into millions. It is a bit surreal to watch these, actually.

Thomas Jackson It may be peaceful but they added too much to it. It all started in the 1.0 update. It strayed away from its notch roots of just having fun in a sandbox building anything you wanted. Now it’s you can do this and that and you need that for that and go there to get this. There should never have been an end to the game. This game was at its greatest when all that mattered was “look at what I built” or “look at my gear”
Aden Chebbi You can have your opinion and I can have mine. Doesn’t change the fact the player base was 100x bigger and popular back in beta days. Take a game like fortnite as well, they made horrible updates and the player base left. The Minecraft that’s out today isn’t Minecraft and it’s a fact bc the original mind behind it doesn’t even work on it anymore and neither does half the original workers. Yeah it’ll always attract new people but it’s still not Minecraft.

@@surfaceintensional I think the reason he reset the world for beta 1.8 was that in that update they completely recoded the world generation and he said that the update will mess his beta 1.7.3 world by lag , chunk borders and possibly world corruption

This video popped up on suggested and I was very surprised. I just graduated from high school and haven’t watched any Minecraft since the classic fly boys days with bdubs and all the boys. I started watching and in about a minute I was crying, I wasn’t sad, or depressed. But just the realization that I will never be the same 12 year old boy who doesn’t have a care in the world and all he does is hang with friends and play Minecraft. This was a very confusing comment but I just wanted to say thank you to you for giving me endless smiles and laughs. Sorta in the feels right now, maybe a little high to but thank you for everything. I actually started playing Minecraft in version 1.14.3. Yes, 2019. In 2011, I didn't even know if RUclips existed, if Minecraft existed. I had no internet. Not even mobile data. When I watched Pewdiepie's let's play, I realized how fun Minecraft is. And I started playing it. I feel sad for not knowing that Minecraft was a thing earlier. Press F for respects.

Dropping back to in to see the beginning. I started watching as a middle schooler, and am now a licensed architect. I can’t help but attribute some of my love for buildings and design to watching this series

Etho was (is?) a gardener in real life. Him liking the grass makes a lot of sense.
He worked (works?) at a nursery. I can't remember when he mentioned it, but I never seemed to have forgotten.
Ethos is adorable in these first episodes! Not the confident person he is in later episodes, just kinda doing his thing, unknowing of how his fanbase will explode into millions. It is a bit surreal to watch these, actually.

Im glad i grew up watching your series. Its crazy to me that when i was a kid the first ever videos i watched were from this series. Rushing home from school to see if a new video came out and watching them when they did were the best parts of my days back then. You made alot of my life better among other things. Thanks for being consistantly amazing.
What an absolute gem! This came up on my feed and I was so happy. I never thought to go back and see early Etho videos and damn, I should have. What I discovered is that all the things I love about Etho today, were there 12 years ago.

Its been ten freaking years! I started watching when this first episode came out. Ethos never gets boring. Also those old doors sounds are satisfying.
I seriously wish EATS roads could have eventually been a thing... It was an amazing idea and that was what really sold me on Etho.
