Just 100% pure gold quality from this legend for 10 years. Bravo.

Well, there was a little swearing. That was long ago though lol.

The true king of Minecraft RUclips, through heart not through fame
Etho talking at the end about how we’re all grown up now got me 😭 your redstone was one of the first things that piqued my interest in computer science, and I’m now nearing the end of my bachelors in cybersecurity. Thank you for everything, man.
:D
Yooo ethos redstone piqued my interest in computer science too!
OH MY GODDDD this is INSANE, congratulations!! I have so much love for Etho and all the memories he's given us, I hope he sees your comment, what a true legend🥺🥺

Can we just take a moment to appreciate etho
He has done 550 episodes, multiple word tours, and none of them have been boring. He has been doing this series for almost 10 years, and this world for almost 9 years, and that dedication is rare to see. He takes the time to go through his entire world and shows *Everything*. And he also has 2 other series going on at the same time (TerraFirmaPunk and hermitcraft). He is the only youtuber I have notifications for and I am always happy to see an etho vid in my subscription feed.
He doesnt care about likes, views and subs (A: Because he still does TerrafirmaPunk even though it gets him less views, he just does it for fun, B: He doesnt end with "Like and subscribe", he just says ""Take care, bye bye")
Thank you etho, for this and all the other series you do...you were one of the first youtubers I watched and you even got me into minecraft! Keep doing what you are doing!
(also can I point out that like to dislike ratio)
As for now, I got my snacks ready for this almost 2 hour vid!

Literally gonna cry the day he stops recording. I feel the same way he has brought me so much enjoyment over the years Omg I cant believe it's been 10 years ahhh. it still feels like yesterday when I was watching his Ftb series along with paks bdubs and gene. Can we please get RUclips to put him down in the yt Hall of fame for the massive amount of dedication hes given to his fans these last years. He deserves it.
I love how Etho always says "we" and "our" for his singleplayer world. It really makes the community feel welcome and part of the whole series.
its a parasocial relationship but unlike other RUclipsrs he doesn't exploit it for money
He didn’t use to do this, i actually remember him talking about consciously doing that. For a while there, he actually apologized for every time he did say I haha
this is so funny , this LP its communist right now every person watching contributes in making it since we watch :)
Yessss I love that. Such a small thing tells a lot about him
He started saying we and our a long time ago but ya
“a lot of people give me credit for inventing the hopper clock...” he knows damn well he invented the hopper clock but he still chooses to be humble
Some call it "Etho clock"
Some call it "Hopper clock"
Now I call it "Wilson's heart"
Is that a House reference?
@@martenveersoo8502 I'm pretty sure it's a Cast Away reference
The first hopper clock was Wilson's heart? Yup I'm gonna cry now
Yep i thought that too! Though I've watched since even before he built Wilson i must've forgotten about that. Really caught me off guard! 😭
The very first hopper clock ever made was made to bring Wilson to life. Wow.
Is House's head anywhere nearby???
Yeah I knew he invented it but I assumed it was in a creative test world or something, who knew
Lol I remember it as a cool heartbeat thing at the time, kid me had no idea of how powerful it was.
“I think this is the first [hopper clock] ever built in the game”
Casual flex
It should be called a Wilson clock tbh
I knew he invented the Etho clock (hopper clock) but I didn't know that the first one was Wilson's heart
That's one of my favorite parts of this tour. How many things he can casually state that he invented, because he has. Even though there are minecrafters who get far more technical with the code on new updates coming out, Ergo still gets to be credited with original designs on things as crucial as the hopper clock.
I kinda hoped that when he mentioned the BUD-switches he'd throw in a little reference to the fact that *he's the one who first showcased their practical use, and NAMED THEM*
Floris Bordewijk i cannot stress how important your comment is
you know, im bit of a redstone genius myself, i once built a 2x2 piston door
_Very_ relatable.
Even grian built one, but badly.
Honestly, Grian knows a bit of redstone. Meanwhile JIm:

That's why we've stayed. I believe it was an episode when he was working on the trophy room that he went through viewer stats. His viewer's age has steadily increased over the years because unlike with most RUclipsrs there is a specific age demographic they appeal to, we never grew out of Etho.
Ronnoc527 I started watching him when I was about 7 or 8
I was about 10 I think. I don't remember exactly when I started watching Etho but I do remember seeing Fallen Kingdom by Captain Sparkelz and then Bite Sized Minecraft by Seth in school. That's when I started watching Stampy/Etho/Seth a lot.
Ronnoc527 I remember watching the first part of his Minecraft let’s play (the first world), and around the beginning of the current world
I've been watching Etho since I was around 12, I'm fucking 20 now lmfa9

thank you for commenting this it KILLED me
“Built this when bud switches were new in the game”
*Humbly skips over the fact that he invented the bud switch
And the etho clock which only he calls a hopper clock. AND the etho door which only he calls the spiral hole door.
To be *entirely* fair, he didn't *exactly* invent it, as one person found them before he did, but Etho was the first to show their actual use, and he did come up with the name
@@swiftlymurmurs1825 that's pretty much what inventing is
@@aydenzinter2849 Well the concept was first discovered by someone else, they just didn't know if you could use it for anything yet. Etho was the first to actually use it with redstone
@@swiftlymurmurs1825 therefore he invented it.
Man, this can be renamed to the "Here's a neat thing that doesn't work anymore" episode.
I'm joking. Honestly it's genuinely impressive with how much of the older stuff still works to some degree after this much time, I guess Mojang has gotten somewhat decent with not wrecking things after every update. I also appreciate the fact that Etho tends to build completely new farms or machines instead of ripping out or refurbishing the old ones. It really makes the world feel like a Minecraft time machine.
But man, 9 years. I started watching around the time you started Wilson, which was 7 years ago. Back then I was huge with the whole Minecraft boom. At one time I probably watched Yogscast, Sky, Ragegamingvideos, CaptainSparklez, AH, and probably a dozen more I don't even remember. And all of them I either lost interest in or they ended up pivoting to other games, and then I lost interest in them (except Sips, he's an absolute treasure). Everyone except this one Canadian RUclipsr, who I still watch every video he posts religiously after 7 years. Part of that I feel is a testament to how incredible Minecraft is as a game, and how much dev support it has received over the years to always add something new. But the bigger part is the love and effort you put into every singe one of your videos. The fact you edit down hours and sometimes days worth of footage into a single episodes, or that you make redstone contraptions that my plebeian mind can't even comprehend (I still don't even understand how the sheep farm works), or how you always challenge yourself with each project to build in new styles or make something that you thought might of not even been possible, or it's because you don't plug your social media or your Patreon or your sponsors, and instead your videos are just you playing Minecraft. For me though, his video have been an escape. No discussions about politics or current events, basically nothing irl except the occasional anecdote about his sleep schedule, it's like each video is a 20-30 minute portal to somewhere else where I can forget everything and just be happy. And fter looking at the essay I just wrote, I just want to say thank you for all of the amazing videos of you playing this amazing game, and for being an amazing person in general.
Oh and my fav build is the cactus farm, because it looks like what every single person would build for the first time playing this game.
I agree 100% (even about sips lol!). With all the shouting voices in social media and advertisements and plugs on youtube, this channel is like an oasis of just pure genuine content. He's not trying to sell us anything except maybe the idea that onions were created by Satan
Hey, Etho talks about more than just his sleep schedule, he also takes time to explain why he hates onions.
Etho is like that one TV show that you watched as a kid and it just never ends and never gets old
my guy wrote an essay on a youtube video comments, I respect that
I agree so much. This is what I love about Etho. All of his videos take me away from whatever struggles are going on in life and you just get some peace. No politics, pandemics, asking to be famous etc. Just pure content of joy... except for onions 🤣
This is sort of crazy, but i've been watching your videos since elementary and now i'm in my first year of university. I only really thought about that when you mentioned your current age demographics and it's crazy to think about how big of an impact you have had on my life.
I only really started to play games from watching your videos, and that was kind of the stepping stone for me first into cube world (which is actually the first game I ever bought), then terraria to don't starve and basically everything else you've uploaded to this channel. Series such as your CTM playthroughs became a transition to some of the other mindcrack guys, namely the rest of team canada, and I began to watch a bunch of their other videos as well. I especially enjoyed the uncharted territory series and I've watched those videos along with your LP series, terrafirmacraft and terraria playthroughs multiple times. Recently i've been playing a CTM with some new friends in my faculty and I probably wouldn't have gotten to know them if it weren't for my love of minecraft that began with you.
My favourite build is probably the donor tree farm because it reminds me of the old tnt cannons you used to have for donors. Back then I remember always wishing I could donate, but at that age I never really could. Aesthetically, I love the tunnel that connects to the potion lab and mob farm in the man cave, and I think the nexus turned out really well too. And of course, there's the potion lab itself, which I will always aspire to build in one of my worlds.
I can't believe how far you've come and I'm glad to see that there is no foreseeable end to all your enthusiasm and creativity. The hermitcraft videos are great to watch and your noteblock tunes always put a smile on my face, but this series will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for all the memories and amazing content you put together each week and wishing you all the best in the future.
aww yes
Hey! I hope University is going well!
I know english because of you, Etho, without it I would've never met my girlfriend of 3 years right now, thank you
wonderful to read, hope you prosper together!

Etho picks up a random book that was staying in here for years untouched.
The book : Hey
I may have misunderstood but he said those were the ones where they got corrupted in an update and lost their data. I imagine the book used to say more than that but only the first line remains or something
The good thing with the library is they're all labelled up so finding the original was very easy!
It used to say:
"Hey Etho, I have a question: Do you still play with the Midnight society? I used to really enjoy the PvP stuff you did, and I noticed you haven't done anything with them for a long time, or at least haven't recorded it." ~FA1ALERR0R, 20th April 2014

Yea I never thought I’ve been here for so long
I’m 25 years old now and I probably stopped watching you about 4 or 5 years ago but I’m glad you’re still going strong and it’s nice to see the same world haha. Was watching you when o was in high school and now I’m a “grown adult” and revisiting a lot of the old channels I used to watch and it’s crazy. Much love hope you have a good 10 more years plus :)
It’s weird how familiar Etho feels to me. I guess it makes sense with how long I’ve watched him but every time I watch his videos it feels like catching up with and hanging out with an old friend. Idk if that’s even a good way to explain it but anyways I’m very grateful for all the smiles, laughs, and hours upon hours of good memories that Etho has given me.
When you realize that Etho not only has a lot of personal firsts in this world, but also a lot of actual firsts in the minecraft community. Etho being the innovator he is is the reason half of the things used in the redstone contraptions got to be used by the community.
His most Prominent invention being the etho slab
He more or less popularized the Hopper Clock, invented the concept of EATS, and more.
You may not think about Emerald City any more Etho, but I do. I REMEMBER THE PROMISES THAT WERE MADE!
N E V E R F O R G E T
I remember those episodes of him building it quite fondly
I just subscribe at episode 500, so I guess I'm a cool kid, right?

“These world tours are for new people”
Hey that’s me! He said my name!
He said my name too!
This is my first time watching, and I realized I recognized the design of his storage room. I realized it looked and functioned similar to Petezahutts storage room in HTM season 1. I rewatched the episode (cuz I watched HTM as it came out years ago) and realized he actually credited Etho for the design. Little me liked the design so much that now, years later, I use the same design for my own storage rooms in almost every world Ive played on since.
They say you probably use hermit designs for things without even realizing it, and I had no idea how true that was until this moment.
I want to cry. I’ve been watching you for 10 years now Etho. You got me through university, and I’m married now dude.
Good for you man, same, he got me through elementary to middle to high school
Huh we have the same last name
Wilhelm TheBleachGod lol wow. His viewers have really grown with him over the years.
Dylan Campbell Lol well hello there!
Same here, I’m literally watching this with my wife right now lmao
Things Etho missed on this tour:
- The original dual cave spider farm (incomplete & broken)
- The Thorns-based dual cave spider farm (kinda broken)
- The Mini-Base (actually is now a feature in the game now)
- The original Blaze Farm
- The broken skeleton farm (where all the glass near the Pixel is, Etho just missed it)
- The "realistic caving" cave
- The portal-based obsidian farm
- The nether village experiment (the one in the middle of a lava ocean)
- The desert well lava trap
Things Etho intentionally missed on this tour
- General Spaz's House
I would love if he did a mini tour of those.
@@calebweldon8102 me too actually, it'd be a nice little 551 intro just a quick jump into it
The llamas walking around sandy city
Well intentional or not I totally fell into that lava trap
13:03 he included the original dual cave spider spawner
I love that Etho and Bdubs love each other so much that they make the other grow in the part of minecraft they are famous for. Redstone with Bdubs and Etho giving inspiration credit to Bdubs always gives me a big smile.
The most amazing thing to me is that Etho still remembers what he did in his world. I have a 7~8 year old world, and it's a lot more split up (edit: not as compact as this one is), so whenever i break an elytra or run out of rockets and i have to walk...i am in constant Gandalf mode and "have no memory of this place". One time i got lost in a maze, and i have, genuinely no memory of ever building a maze, in MineCraft, ever. Weird.

Oh yea that was built like last episode
Etho: "we built this a couple years back"
Minecraft is magical, everything is like slowed down in my memories of it
stop reminding me im old
I have come up with a term for telling how old something is in Etho's world, instead of Carbon dating like with fossils, instead we are New Block Dating, because Etho goes oo shiny over every new block as the new best thing, and incorporates it into his builds, and you can tell exactly what version those buildings were made in.
Honestly that has got to be the funniest thing about his building style considering he hasn't stopped and is still doing it in his nether base
What is the monstrosity....
Jim Eriksson all the blocks he never went oo shiny to
i never knew Etho, i watched yogscast, sparkles, achievement hunter. watched this to understand the hype, now i get it. its lovely seeing someone genuinely enjoying minecraft so wholly.
I’m one of those first time viewers, what I learned; Etho is criminally good at red stone. Why does Mumbo seem to get all the credit on hermitcraft?
because mumbo is ONLY good with redstone and he makes guides.
The man cave in its totality is by far my favorite build.

Before I watched this video: I think etho might be my new favourite creator
After seeing Wilson the tamagotchi: etho is DEFINITELY my new favourite creator
as he should be, such an inovative mind
By Far the best minecraft let’s play series. i’ve been watching this series since 2015, and i’ve been enjoying every episode thus far. This is so cool
When he said that thing about his demographics growing up it kinda made me emotional, pretty bonkers the loyalty in the etho community. I started watching in middle school and now I’m a 3rd year at college. I’ve watched every LP episode all the way through and I’m gonna keep doing that as long as I have time. Something about etho just brings comfort. This was a really good world tour too, felt very candid (I guess most of the stuff on this channel is) I think my favorite build is the man cave storage room with the shutters. I remember watching you build that as a kid and thinking it was the most magical build ever. Love this channel and hope you still enjoy making videos.
ngl I shed a tear since I remember watching him begin building the library in middle school and here I am graduated from high school all these years later still appreciating ethos content. I think thats my favourite build personally since those videos helped me get through the day.
hey we are the same age and started watching at around the same time
"Something about etho just brings comfort." hits home completely. Etho is my personified happy place.
I remember being in fourth grade talking to my friends about how I was into Minecraft videos. I used to recommend Etho to all my friends and I’m still watching him as a 19 yr old in college.
I just came back after a long hiatus, learning he had just recently finished the nexus xD
Etho said "get your snacks!" and I checked the video length.
I then ordered a pizza.
you take 2 hours to eat a pizza? thats sad

the surprise when something still works from years ago is hilarious
I didn’t start watching until season 2, but thank you for getting me through all the rough times in my life Etho.
It's actually pretty crazy to think that Etho has been present for a large part of my life. I started watching the LP way back in 2011, about midway through the Chocolate Island world. That was 9 years ago, and considering I'm 21 years old now, that's almost half my life ago! I don't comment much (well never really), but I figure this special occasion is a good time to do so. If you happen to read this Etho, I just want you to know that I appreciate all the years of entertainment that you've provided! I really appreciate that even through all these years, you've always remained grounded and humble. We've never needed to see your face, know about your personal life, or buy any branded merch (even though I probably would at this point, just to support). Instead, your dedication to remain consistent, hardworking, and relatable has been more than enough to keep me and countless others intrigued for all these years. Anyway, here's to 550 more episodes!
Same here. I'm also about to turn 21 in a few days
About to turn 22 and I did the same, I know he's mentioned he makes enough off the youtube videos itself a while ago but I really wish he had merch:(
same!
Yeah same, I used to watch him on my iPod touch while I would pretend to be asleep lmao
Same here man. I'm 21 and I've been watching Etho since I was 13. I would love to meet him so I could tell him what he means to me.
My favorite build is the community you’ve built
Big +1

+1 indeed
Etho: this is an old project
Me: oh yeah I remember when that episode came out
I have been watching Etho for 10+ years and I almost get sad watching these tours. I have watched nearly every build (besides missing some episodes) OVER the years. I WAS 10 years old or younger when I found his channel. NOW IM ALMOST 21. Love how the time flies by lol
Who's in the "I know everything there but I'm watching anyway" team?
Yay
It was a little daunting seeing builds that were built years ago and remembering watching the episode as it came out.

Lol, I been checking everyday for another video. Made my day seeing 2 hrs of ergo:)
Ah yesh
Etho: ive been seeing the viewer demographic and seeing the number of younger viewers drop, meaning you guys have all been watching me for all these years and grew up during that time. so thanks for sticking with me for all these years.
Me: 🥺, ofc homie
:)
I haven't played Minecraft in years, besides showing my cousin how to do certain things, or when me and my friends get drunk and think it's a good idea lol. But I will always watch Etho. He's such a good dude.

I'm a new viewer, looking for ideas for buils, and after watching the full tour, I can safely say that I know I'll never run out of things to do in minecraft :)
The first thing I thought when mending came out was "Etho can fix all his broken tools!!!!"
Hey Etho! So, I’ve a question for you. One I havent seen many ask for a while.
I’ve watched you for the past 7-8 years of my life on again off again. Everytime I’ve been able to count on you for a nice stress relieving episode. You are a person who brings alot of positive vibes and happiness no matter what you post or write. Just going through a dozen or so comments in your last few videos to see several people who feel the same way as I, tells as much.
So my question for you is this:
Is the man behind the monitor (you) doing well? I dont mean in a sense of “are you having a good day”
But in a sense of “are you happy Where you are right now? Do you enjoy activities? Meet up with friends or hang out with the family alot? A girlfriend perhaps? You honestly dont even need to answer detailed if you dont want to. I’d just like to know wether you as a person Etho, is happy.
Too often people who make others smile, secretly go around with alot of heavy stuff and rarely tell others or talk to others and frankly I cant shake the thought that you could potentionally feel something similar. My question is in a sense a kind of “check up” lol.
Because you being happy makes me all the more happier watching your content =)
He’s answered a lot of comments like this, he’s always been positive. Plus, I don’t think he could do hundreds of episodes without a lot of motivation.
Darky it’s a good question but I doubt he’ll answer it doesn’t suit the happy vibe his videos bring. I do hope he’s happy thou I wouldn’t be able to watch in good conscience knowing he’s unhappy while making these videos
Master Zelda Yeah, I dont mind him not anwsering, Its also my way of saying we care about him too, if he read it, he knows we are thinking of him so its ok if he doesnt anwser it.
And I have it exactly the same way as you put it.
Nick Wilson He has? Well it doesnt hurt to ask every once in a while, its a good way to remind someone who does so much that the care goes both ways :-)
Darky he’s talked about getting himself motivated to make videos, keeping active with exercise, etc. he doesn’t let on much about his personal life, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have one.
Edit: also keeping a good sleeping schedule. A depressed person doesn’t have any of that (generally)
I love how Etho's community is (largely) the same group of viewers that started watching around 7-10 years ago. We fell in love with this channel as kids that loved Minecraft, and Etho has continually uploaded for that entire time. These world tours end up being nostalgia trips for us long time viewers. Looking forward to whatever this big project is Etho has planned now...
I couldn't agree more. Considering what he's done so far, this big project must really be BIG
Started watching when I was quite young, I haven't played minecraft in years but still watch most of his videos
"People keep telling me it's called a zuggernaut or something?"
I do kind of love how you managed to combine "ziggurat" with "juggernaut"
My daughter is still too small but Etho is the youtuber I would allow her to listen to and watch. Way to go!
Amazed at that statistic at the end there. Etho is like a constant in the ever changing RUclips landscape and I love it. I think I've watched every video. All of his maps with beef and pause. His terraria series. His project ozone (Oh, taxes. How we love 'em!) Etho is an era of RUclips. He's representative of the childhood of tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people. Thank you for the ride, Etho. Never change.
I miss Taxes we could never get rid of him......

Your comment about how your viewers are "growing up with you" really hit me because I realized I was one of those people who crossed over to the over 18 age demographic. I still remember which episode of your singleplayer series I started watching you, and I genuinely still feel the same feeling of excitement every time you upload like I did back in 2013. Different series would start and end, but your singleplayer has been the one constant and these world tours are a reminder of that.
Because I started watching you at episode 284, I'd have to say that one of my favorite builds is Etho's Lab. Not only are the double chests full of potions super satisfying to look at, you made really great use of the new hardened clay blocks aesthetics-wise. The Ender Ender 2.0 is definitely an honorable mention because I love seeing all the endermen dying at once to a blast and then hearing the tinkling of xp orbs immediately after.
You never fail to make me smile and I can't thank you enough for turning around so many of my more sucky days because you blessed us with an Etho upload :) I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future!
I'm in the 'only recently started watching' camp you've got a new fan here among all the long standing ones.
Literally just found you. And you're so right with the 50 episodes world tour. Thanks.
I was at the diamond door opening part, and right when Etho opened the second door, an ad popped up and I got hit with a wave of PTSD
GOD didn’t we all?!?!
"Master Chief, mind telling me what you're doing on that ship?"
"Getting my snacks, Sir."
"Understandable, bring me some."
Yes, I'm new. Saw you on HermitCraft. I am going to watch this episode, then go back and start at the beginning.
“What is your favorite build in the LP world”? You ask?
All of it! ❤️
Hey Etho,
The thing I liked the most are all the things you built in the amplified terrain :D slime block launchers, hard to navigate / conquer terrain, mobile storage all that kind of things.
But it’s a very close call with anything else you built in this world. It is truly magical 🙂 I love the nostalgia that always comes up during the world tours. Thank you for the effort of searching for something interesting every time. I wold love to see a “day in the life of Etho in his world“ episode at some time. Maybe you could start a new project and take us on the journey you go through? Or just casually play as you would if you didn’t record? The collecting of resources with the amazing farms, the traveling to a new location with your fancy gizmos. The head scratching and how you feel with it. and then the end where you leave yet another great project unfinished. Don’t worry, we do love you for that as well! Hope you are having a great day. ❤️
39:25 TECHNICAL MINECRAFTERS NOW WE HAVE A NAME, ITS CALLED WILSON'S HEART, NO EXCUSES.
Even through the troubled and chaotic times we alll face in life, especially this year, one thing always remains constant, as it always has: great & entertaining content from Etho.
I've been following your stuff on and off for, at the very least, 7 years. I was watching your stuff along w/other content creators' stuff before I even got Minecraft, in October 2013. You're one of the very few I still watch and truly enjoy.
Watching this world tour gave me so many "hey, I remember when he built that!" moments, it's crazy.. I don't remember many of the actual, *real life* things I did in my younger years, yet, I remember some small silly things like that plant monster and etc. You and your content truly were a huge part of my childhood/teen years, it all impacted me in ways I hadn't even thought of until now.
Thank you. Thank you for crafting my childhood. Keep up the outstanding work, continuing to craft and mold and shape other people's lives through your content.
beautifully written
I love what you said.
Yep basically what he said hahaha
Same here man, well said
same here, i
Honestly, during the shadered opening scenes, after two years of catching up with the series from episode 105, I got almost emotional, in the way no other RUclips video made me feel. Etho, you friggin' legend, -- with this world, you created something so much more than just RUclips content, something far beyond any single game, -- you really poured your soul into this world and built something in your likeness. And that's why we enjoy this world so much: because it reflects your unique humor, quirkiness, and creativity. I haven't met you, but without you really knowing this, you've been a really good friend to me. Thank you!
"theres so much stuff we're missing out on right?" for a split second you can hear him think of saying "wrong, we've done nothing" at 2:25
Me being a new Etho viewer I’m watching this and his whole world is just “but wait there’s more”
One of us! One of us! Welcome!
There are actually a few projects that aren't shown in the tour and some mining areas.
Welcome to the community :) Etho is the best!
im new too! ive been watching him all of hermitcraft season seven and saw this and now im watching his world from here on out!
It’s been that way for 50+ episodes for me, I’ve gotten pretty used to it at this point and even welcome it. This is episode 550 after all, this world’s huge!
Favorite Build: Wilson hands down. It's kind of insane to think about but Wilson is the reason for my existence. As a kid listening to etho explain the logic of that project, it blew my mind and got my engineering brain gears to start turning, It inspired me to get deep into redstone throughout my teens, which lead me to learning programing through junior/high school, which landed me my great software development job of 4 years I currently have and I'm almost done with my comp sci bachelors.
It blows my mind when the world tours come out because I always forget the older projects as the years go on. I was fresh out of elementary school when I first started watching etho, Now I'm old enough to drink. Watching this caused a lot of good childhood memories to resurface (I had a flashback to you originally building the donation trees talking about potentially streaming and after watching that episode I was trying to convince my dad to let me force him to support you because I wanted a tree, Unfortunately I never convinced him :/ ).
I sincerely want to thank etho for the decade of entertainment and dedication. I will continue to watch and support for as long as you keep producing content.
All love
That's amazing

When you’ve been here for all the world tours but you still watch the whole thing.
I think etho's world is the perfect example of a world just existing for the fun of playing minecraft. Like the plant monster outside the useless village and the chorus fruit farm, that guy has no purpose, etho didnt have to build it, but he's there because plant monsters are fun. I donno, it's comfy, I guess. Nowadays a lot of mcyts are trying to have the biggest base or have loads of lore and massive story driven stuff, but etho just plays the game for fun. That's it, that's the whole motive, that's the big idea, is fun.
That's all, I really like this world, it makes me feel better
The popup sheep farm really vibed with me. If I had to pick one build I think it had to be that one
