I was so worried that the old village was gone, but I'm glad to see it's still there, just 1000 blocks away. I think linking the two with a road would be such cool world building, and I'm excited to see how this village develops!

Snow in Minecraft is an absolute vibe but I actually really love when rains in my jungle base. Plains rain = bleh but in the really green jungle I think it's great.
Having a goal to Defend a Village from a Raid really reminds me the days where you Build and Defend from a Raid, but now I can see you fighting off a raid with Wolves since their HP is doubled than before and wolf armor exists
gem, i think some lanterns would totally make your manor seem more cozy and actually give it the glow you wanted with the windows 🌟 plus it would totally match the village! would also probably look good with shaders too :)

As somebody who's built in a lot of snow biomes it's really fun building because you have to take the snow into account. In the custom village I built I have a covered pathway that goes around the village that has lanterns hanging from it. It looks really nice at night
Hey Gem, to fit your cactus into the snowy biome, perhaps you could build a village greenhouse to plant cacti and perhaps other crops too! You could also use lanterns and campfires to keep it warm and protect the plants! :)
I think that the other villages that you’re taking the bread and armor from and the one with the cool library would be fun villages to imagine that they’re your rivals! Your village’s enemies, and that’s why your two villages connect up later on, because they become allies!

I like the idea that the fishermen in the village go fishing in the spring and summer when it’s slightly warmer so there’s more fish and then freeze the fish to store so they can then go on to sell the fish in Autumn and Winter when it’s harder to grow crops
One of my favorite worlds I ever had was when I lived in the snow. I had a cute greenhouse for my crops. Though, the snow got so annoying after a while that I went way into the sky and put a layer of glass over my immediate land to stop the snow fall hahaha

what I love about this episode is all of the exploring, like admiring the igloo generation, crazy terrain, the new wolves and the scary villager painting. It’s so cool seeing someone just loving the little details in the game!! also maybe for future updates you could keep the same world but travel to different parts and at the end of each series, link them all together so that there are like different areas for each update all in one world
i love love love when people restart in their hardcore worlds. It makes the entire world feel more lived in, which is fun. The idea that you connect them with paths is also very fun. Love the dogs and paintings too

It’s right in the middle of winter here in Australia, so this series is actually perfectly timed! Definitely a lovely thing to watch by the fire in my ski thermals :)
You can find a white wolf in a snowy tundra! But they might be slightly harder to find since they are lonely and don't appear in packs. And if there's a taiga nearby, maybe there is a old growth taiga where you can find a black wolves.
Great episode! I think there is a trick for villagers where you can place berries under carpet to keep them from walking into certain areas. It may be a useful tool for your toolbox. Carpet also keeps snow from landing in that spot, so that is a second reason you might want to use more carpets than normal.

A tip/easily overlooked feature for anyone building in a frozen biome!! If you waterlog blocks, they will not freeze, and can still be used for crops. I'd recommend leaf blocks (my favorite 💜)

Idea: Since there are new wolf variants and you got all cat variants in the last village, you should get all of the dogs.

I like to waterlog top slabs because it hides the water while also giving you a path to walk on.
I love the idea of making different little outposts in the same world. One in every different biome would be an interesting challenge.
