Hey everyone! The album playing is Goldball by Exmagma, a French jazz fusion album from 1974. Check out my friends channel if you like what I do! Yesterdays Trips: youtube.com/@YesterdaysTrips?si=lmbg3pMUT6YG5VHB Goldball-Exmagma ruclips.net/video/GLxS4fRUTkc/видео.htmlsi=H7FJvPaM6KlTwV_w
Nobody mentioned the fact that the Canned Heat 🔥Lp cover is uncensored. The Sterno can is not blacked out. Thats the nicest cover for that album I've seen.
Hey Sorin, great that you’re into Bert Jansch. I saw him live a few times. You need to pronounce his name correctly though. Check out Davy Graham and John Renbourne too. They all came out around the same time playing the clubs in London. Bert learnt his stuff from Davy. Everyone learnt their stuff from Davy. He was the key player in the folk scene in England- taught Paul Simon too.
What is the correct pronunciation? Is it more like janch not janish? I've got Davy Graham and John Renbourne in my wantlist. Very cool stuff. Thanks for watching! ✌️
You said it regarding the John McLaughlin, it's ridiculous, his guitar playing is amazing. If you see one, grab a copy of Shakti. I know you will love it.
Try Birds of Prey by the Mahavishnu Orchestra. That one will really put your head in another land! Saw them open for Zappa. It was during the Waka Jawaka/ Grand Wazoo period. Terry Reid is sooooo worth looking for his 1st/2nd lps!! Nice nice nice finds. 🖖🚀
I'm looking for all of their stuff now, but I'll keep an eye open for that! They must have been incredible live. I'm still looking for Terry Reid's other stuff. Thanks for watching ✌️
I just discovered your channel and really enjoy the content you put out. You helped me discover a lot of new to me artists that I had never heard of before. Like you, I was born in the wrong generation and listen to bands/artists that came out before I was born. In return, I’d like to introduce you to Daniel Romano. He’s a young super prolific musician from Canada and one of my current favorite artists. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniel Romano dropped eight releases between March 15 and May 26, 2020. These are not Lofi home recordings. He actually built a professional studio with the help of his backing band, the Outfit, and then quickly got to work. Each album sounded nothing alike. Daniel is a bit of a chameleon and plays so many different styles of music. He’s done punk, country, folk, folk rock, 60s rock, 70s rock, 70s glam, power pop, prog and so much more. He’s got albums/songs that sound like the Beatles, T.Rex, The Who, Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons and many others. It’s hard to keep track. He’s constantly evolving. His most recent album is called La Luna. It was easily one of my favorite albums of last year. Consisting of a single massive song in 12 individual parts, plus pulse quickening overture and truly grand finale, La Luna is an unprecedented artistic achievement by one of contemporary music’s most ambitious and consistently surprising practitioners. Daniel Romano sets his visionary poetry to exuberant tune - it is epic, wimmaculately and extravagantly arranged, and truly cinematic. Most of his discography is available on bandcamp. However, some of his albums were limited runs and are currently sold out on bandcamp. You can seem to find them on discogs and other places. His live album Okay Wow seems to be highly sought after. Lucky for me, I not only have a copy of Okay Wow but I also have a test pressing which seems to be a 1 of 1. His pandemic releases were originally only digital releases. He’s slowly releasing them on vinyl as part of his archive release series. He’s also got a new album studio album that’s coming out next year. Sadly 3 members of the Outfit have left the band. One of those members is Julianna Riolino, who is focusing on her solo career Her husband Roddy Rosetti was the bands bass player. He did a mean John Enwhistle impersonation when he played live. I have an older friend of mine who went to Woodstock, and has been listening to music since the 1950s. He told me that Daniel Romano is one of the best discoveries he’s heard in decades.
Thanks for the opening. I got the seven inch which I opened, the twelve inch which I didn't and the CD. PS: My brother works for Ed Ruscha, the artist that did the cover.
Wow, thats really cool! I wish I had bought the limited edition one that was for top listeners on spotify. I could've got it, but I missed out unfortunately. Thanks for watching ✌️

I like the idea, which is how you make your videos.i have a question for you . I bought a Beatles ,the red album at a books a million in Longview Texas, my copy came from the Netherlands. I asked the salesman how it got to their store, he had no clue. My question is does this happen alot , one import shipped to a store.
Thank you! I think a lot of albums were imported to the US for some reason. Its not that uncommon to find foreign pressings in the US, but I'm not exactly sure why. Thanks for watching ✌️
Hey man. Morgan lp is a smoker. I'm going to check out Bruno Major per your referral. American Revolution album is okay. The Illusion lps I always find in the bargain bins and are almost always beat up. Bert Jansch is definitely under rated. Great folk artist. I have all the Elf lps. Can't go wrong with Van the man. Peace
Morgan is a trip for sure. I haven't decided on keeping the American Revolution or not yet. Bert Jansch is super underrated and a fantastic folk musician. Thanks for watching ✌️

You said it regarding the John McLaughlin, it's ridiculous, his guitar playing is amazing. If you see one, grab a copy of Shakti. I know you will love it.

The members of Elf played on the first Rainbow album except Steve Edwards who became a school teacher and the drummer.
I didn't know that. I think my dad has the first rainbow album somewhere. I'll have to steal it from him lol! Thanks for watching ✌️
