I’ve found yard sales are the way to go for me to get lots of cheap inventory during the spring and summer months. GW has outrageous pricing now on bread and butter brands , so I haven’t been there in a while. You should do a yard sale sourcing video!

The audacity of GW to charge 50$ USD for a donated dress they got for free....
That dress will end up at the bins and one lucky reseller will pick it up for 3 or $4. 😂

My thoughts exactly. I find SO many gems at my bins that they had overpriced in the stores. They would rather take the chance of someone MAYBE buying their overpriced items than to actually give someone a good deal.
GW is a for profit company - I always donate clothes to other charities like women’s shelters, etc. I know we resellers shop there but this is what happens - we can’t afford it for resale anyways.
Yup our charity shops here in the uk are crazy over priced on everything & they wonder why nobody really shops in them anymore. I slightly lost my temper last week in our charity book shop, there were several books I wanted but they were missing the slip covers & had damage, yet they were still trying to charge £15 per book - in the end I just said the lady I can buy off of these online in better condition with the covers for £7-10 each, you are given the stuff for free. I happy to pay a fair price but it's seriously getting ridiculous

Even though your goodwill overpriced it, I would’ve personally picked up the Gudrun Sjoden dress! I find all my items from them sell, especially printed midi/maxi dresses.

Your store looks like a department store- our Goodwills look like a “ yard sale- although I’ve seen some yard sales that look much better.Those prices are ridiculous. Do you launder or steam to sanitize?
I hate when Good Will puts the tags on shoulders and not into a seam...it makes a pretty bad hole every time.
THAT. They have the AUDACITY to price donated goods at $50 but can't be courteous enough not to ruin the item. I always wonder how all of the good stuff winds up at the bins, and now I get it. 😑

FIFTY AMERICAN DOLLARS FOR ANY CLOTHES AT GOODWILL...THE ABSOLUTE AUDACITY. Goodwill needs to accept that they are NOT the mall, and they get that ish for free, so they need to quit pretending they're a "reseller." This REALLY makes me want to boycott them...🤔 Ridiculous!

wowza your Goodwill is not consistant and high prices wow. Apparently, they are no longer in the busness of charity but also reselling now. They should change their name and business model
Why would you buy the figs with a COG of $4 for a $25 projected profit, but not the red dress with a COG of $20 and a projected profit of $70?
I live right across the river from you in Vancouver Wa. I refuse to go to the regular Goodwills. Prices are outrageous. I moved here from Florida about a year ago and man sticker shock. I am only 10 minutes from a bins and I go there and a couple of charity thrift stores where I never pay more than $5 per item and both of them have discount days as well. Your videos are just outstanding lately! You’ve always had great information but you just seem so relaxed and natural. Keep up the good work. I appreciate you!
$20 is way more to invest for something that's really an unknown... Just because comps are that, doesn't mean it will sell at that price.
