I don’t know if you’ve ever considered it but as a former owner of 2 children’s resale shops I think you would a perfect fit for doing something like that. You really seem to connect with other parents in their new parent journey and take joy in your motherhood. It’s a really beautiful thing to see. If you combined that with your brand knowledge and the fact that you’re in an area that likes to support eco minded small businesses I don’t see how you could go wrong. Just a thought 🌻

That's my favorite Goodwill too. I always find great shoes and handbags. I just hate the traffic trying to get across town. I guess the next time I'm there and hear someone talking to themselves, I'll know it must be you 😂
I went on a road trip, following bins locations. But the farthest two closed! Google hasn't updated the info..... but those are regular goodwill locations now.... and I found my first Johnny Was piece, so not a total loss.
I just love your new video format for thrifting-so much better for my style. I used to go to that GW a couple of times a week but had to move down to Sonoma County for awhile. The thrifting here is soooooo bad. Can’t wait to get back up to Portland simply for that store. Anyway. Thanks for all your help-I just started on Poshmark two months ago and am spending more than I sell but having fun with it and your videos have helped immensely. Looking forward to Fall!
I live in California and when I donated clothes they emailed me a coupon and now they keep emailing me 20% off coupons for the month every month you might want to check it they have that at your goodwill it might bring your cost of goods down at the regular goodwill stores if you use your coupon it will take off 20% off your purchase or 30$ or more

You can forget Poshmark and Mercari. Unless you sell at a super low price ( which doesn’t leave much profit for you), the cost of shipping on these sites prohibit a bargain for the buyers……which is why they are shopping there in the first place. I stopped buying at those sites and prefer to thrift my own bargains at Goodwill, etc.
Not really. Not for shoes/boots or heavier denim jeans, overalls, jackets, etc. It's actually cheaper for shipping. You're painting with a broad brush and throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Price accordingly! I typically price items 30% higher than I project them to sell for (as long as available comps support that decision)
